Notifications for all messages in a channel

There is no clear way how to enable all notifications in channels. I have channel where I am interested in all messages.

To set notifications for all messages in a channel, just click the little ellipses next to the channel name and choose “Follow this channel.”

    We are extremely dependent on Team chat notifications. Kind of silly that it doesn't notify.

    I ever get notifications for comments in Teams Channels, please fix this.

    We have been floating between Slack and Teams for a couple of weeks and bit the bullet using Teams. Sadly, we did not realise this feature was absent and incredibly frustrating to say the least.

    Providing greater control over notifications allows the user to quieten down channels less important and turning the volume up on those that are.

    I sincerely hope @microsoft implement a fix to this and soon as it's an almost perfect replacement for Slack in my opinion!

    Notifications are not working on iPhone, but are for colleagues using the Android app.

    Notifications in Teams are either bugged or just plain awful as they do not work reliably, nor do they make any sound whatsoever.
    Please for the love of god just copy Slack's implementation of Notifications..

    Notifications needs to be enabled for all team chat, as an IT service desk company this is very important. we will continue to use slack until this is released. I also cannot recommend it to my custoemrs either until this feature is out.

    Notify me when new messages arrive to any channel where I am suscribed. I can't see any notification about new messages on any channel and is annoying to review channels for new messages every time.

    Notifications aren't working - nobody in our entire team gets a notification nor hears any sound, despite the notification prefs being set to ALL THE EVERYTHING.

    Bug?

    Either way, unusable until fixed.

    @Bryn J Ellis you forgot to put the @Microsoft, they probably don't get notifications and miss these comments unless you mention them =P

    And yea this is kind of a deal breaker with team communication IMO, let us decide per channel how "noisy" we want it to be!

    Is there any point posting on this forum if nobody from Microsoft is monitoring it and responding to questions?

    It's a critical feature that looks to me like it got missed off the minimum workable requirements for putting this live in a company environment so I would have thought it would be common courtesy to give users a steer when this is due to be available so we can plan our work for rolling this out.

    Response required from Microsoft please!

    We are currently testing Teamchat in a few departments, and this request has been the biggest complaint so far. Has there been any talk about when the "Planned" will change to implemented?
