I want to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time
LOG INTO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
We need the ability to sign in with multiple accounts. Many of us have several O365 accounts for various reasons (consulting, etc), and we’d need to be able to access teams directly. This is not a federation or B2B scenario, but a case where new O365 credentials have been created in another tenant for us. The app today only allows a single signed-in account at a time and that’s a blocker.31,980 votesThe engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.
You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.
Thanks!

Include Office 365 group calendar in teams
It would be good to be able to click on a calendar button on the left hand side to get a view of the Office 365 groups calendar as you would in the calendar app. Good for being able to look and get a glimpse of what is coming up with the group. At the moment I have to go back to the calendar to look at it.
20,666 votesGroup Calendar is a priority for the team, and the feature team is continuing work on it. You’ll start to see some incremental improvements. We look forward to sharing more details and timeframes soon.
Thanks!

Teams uses 600MB and is super slow!
Quotes from various users about memory usage and slow performance:
"Team is a memory hog! 100s MB! Slack is about 50."
"The memory consumption is over 300MB!!! This should be a priority."
"Just started evaluating teams, 500+ MB and 10-15% CPU. This is in a citrix VDI. Does teams use hardware rendering? If so is there a way to turn it off? I had to do this with the rest of Office."
"I dont understand why my Teams application only uses 70MB when other people in my organization are towards half a gig! What is causing this Teams?"
"Make it…
17,984 votesGreat performance and user experience remain a topmost priority for us. Application launch time has seen improvements in the recent build. We will continue making improvements across the product including channel to chat switching and overall resource consumption.

Rename of Team Channel doesn't rename associated Sharepoint files Folder
When renaming a Team Channel, the associated Sharepoint folder continues with it's previous name. This could lead to confusion.
13,540 votesWe have raised the priority of this work item, and it is currently being worked on. We don’t have any dates to share at this point, but will update when we have new status. Thank you!

Open in Word/Excel/PowerPoint as Default
It would be great if Teams would have the ability to always launch the desktop app when opening Office documents as opposed to launching the online version.
Rest of teams is awesome.
5,875 votesThank you for your continued feedback. The feature team is actively working on this feature as well as doing work to give users the choice to open Word/Excel/PowerPoint files by default in Browser, Office app or inside the Teams app. We will share an update here as soon as one is available.

Proofing tools (spell check, theasaurus, autocorrect)
One of the defining features of office down the years has been the proofing tools (i.e. Spell checker, theasaurus, autocorrect, grammar checker). I would love to see these come to Teams.
The way I envisage this working is as I'm typing a message the famous red/blue/green squigglies that we've all become familiar with should show up.
Most of all I'd like autocorrect (i.e. a spelling correction that I've used previously automatically gets applied as I type). Stretch goal for this, have a single set of autocorrects that work across all of Office 365, including the client apps.
Some people might…
3,589 votesHi everyone, the engineer working on this item has left the company and we’re working on replacing him. I wanted to give you that heads up because the work has paused, which extends our shipping date.
I really appreciate your patience as we work to get this back to actively worked on.

Add live voting and polling to Teams Live Events
With other platforms, you can ask participants to vote and or answer polling questions during the meeting/event. I would like to see functionality such as that available in Teams Live Events (and actually in regular meetings too).
3,488 votesThanks for your comments and votes. The team is working on this and we will update as soon as there are more details to share.

Allow copying whole chat conversations
Currently, it's not possible to select & copy more than one message in a chat. When I try to select two or more messages, the focus stays on the first message making it impossible to copy whole chat.
There are some really ugly workarounds like: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Teams/Copying-conversations/td-p/62849 which I don't consider a solution of the situation.
I want to be able to select multiple messages at once and copy them by hitting CTRL+C.
2,968 votesThank you for your suggestion! We really appreciate the feedback and idea. We have reviewed this request and started working on it. I’ll let you know as it nears completion.

Increase duration for desktop notifications
The channel/team on which the notification has been made should stay more/better/longer visible so that you won't miss one.
2,917 votesOnce support for Windows 10 native notifications is released, users who choose to use Windows notifications will be able to utilize Windows OS specific settings for the length of time to display notifications. Mac does not have an OS specific setting, so will not have the support.
-
Use same date and time format as in my computer's settings
Many people like to use English as their display language, but get confused with the US date format: 11/06 is October 6 in the US, but June 11 in many other countries. Why not display the date according to the setting in Windows?
Same goes for time, of course, where many use 24 hour format instead of am and pm.
2,896 votesThe team is working on fixing date/time format to honor your computer settings. Please stay tuned for further updates.

meeting reminders
Regardless of where a meeting is created, Outlook or Microsoft Teams, the 15 minute reminders and the like should generate a notification from Microsoft teams to the user, either a popup dialogue window or otherwise.
2,608 votesWork on meeting reminder for Teams meetings is in progress.

TO DO
Add Microsoft To Do into Teams via Tab or connector. I can add WunderList but not To Do

Real-time translation feature for Teams meeting
It would be great that Teams could implement a real-time translation for conversations in a meeting and captioning feature like the Presentation Translator add-in for PowerPoint. This feature would be useful to have a Teams meeting with users in other countries.
1,382 votesThank you very much for your feedback.
We are working on the captioning feature.- Natasha (Microsoft)

Join Meeting Button
When I schedule a meeting as a Skype Meeting it adds a "Join Meeting" button to the Outlook reminder that pops up. That button does not exist when I schedule a Teams Meeting. It should.
Without that button I have to double click to go into the calendar item, locate the hyperlink to "Join Teams Meeting", click that, which opens my web browser, and then the web browser tries to launch the Teams app, but first asks me for confirmation, which requires another click. You've added several layers of unnecessary clicks which impede my ability to join a meeting.
Just…
1,323 votesClicking on the join button in an Outlook reminder takes you to the browser to launch Teams today. The work to bypass the browser and directly launch Teams is being worked on. We’ll update when we have more details.

Mac Teams Helper: Takes up too much CPU and makes app almost unusable
I can't use teams with out it lagging severely. When I go and look at the processes running, It always looks like the 'helper' is taking up crazy amounts of CPU and it lags out the application to the point of it almost being unusable.
I've tried closing the application, rebooting, re-installing, checking for updates, etc.. nothing works.
I'm on macOS Mojave 10.14.2
1,218 votesWe have rolled out a fix for improving Mac performance while in a meeting. This should help with heating and perf issue on Macs.
Please update your client (Settings→check for updates). Let us know your feedback. There are other performance improvements we are working in parallel, we will share updates as soon as they are available.

Keep Tab in Memory when Switching to Chat / Other Tab - Prevent Loss of Edits, Files, Login credentials
Issue Summary:
Switching from a Tab to Chat / Teams / Other Tabs causes the Tab to close, causing you to have to reopen the Tab (actually having to navigate to it again inside the team). This will reload the tap and all content before the Switching will be lost.Issues:
1. Tabs open in Team gets reset - when switching between Teams in Team View
2. Tabs reload - when switching between Chat and Team View
3. Content (edits, files etc) on Tab gets lost (Happens both for to Issue 1 and 2)
4. It makes you re-sign-in to…1,202 votesThe team is working on changes to the desktop client so recently opened tabs are kept in memory, as long as it doesn’t use too much memory.
I will keep you posted as we make further progress.

Improve chat history search
It looks like those designing the Chat are not really using it. Searching the chat history is still an awful experience:
1. When you are in a conversation with a person and want to search for something, you want BY DEFAULT the results from the conversation with THAT person. But no, the smart designer of Chat was thinking to flood you first with a lot of results and then to ask you for few additional clicks to filter what you need...
Please change the default to show the results for the current conversation or add another quick find or provide…1,025 votesThank you for your continued feedback, we have addressed #1 in the list above. Contextual search within a specific chat or channel is now available. To learn more, please visit https://support.microsoft.com/office/search-for-messages-and-more-in-teams-4a351520-33f4-42ab-a5ee-5fc0ab88b263.
The feature team continues to make progress on these asks, and we will share an update when one is available.

Enable editing of Wiki pages in the Teams Mobile App
Currently Wiki pages are read only in the Mobile App. Please make them read/write so we can make a quick change to a Wiki page while on the go. Thanks :-)

Copy & Paste is tempermental
Users reporting multiple copy/paste issues for text:
Can't paste multi-messages. Often, only the first line pastes, the rest disappear. As one user puts it: "On the Windows 10 desktop client it is nearly impossible to copy multiple messages from the chat history. A fraction of a second after letting go of the mouse, the highlight collapses down to a single message."
Can't paste in general: "Copy & Paste is tempermental, when i try to paste text in from other sources it simply doesn't paste, but then if I only copy a few (3-6) words then it does. It means I…
