  1. sending messages is causes timeline above it to jump back days or weeks

When I am chatting with team members, each time a send a message the chat history above jumps back days or weeks...and I have to scroll back down to the bottom. Very annoying.

Thanks Chris for sharing this! I’ve sent it straight to the Messaging team, who is investigating.

  2. Please support symbols like % in filenames

We have many files which have symbols like % in them. Currently we cant send / upload them with teams. It's not a solution to always change the filename

  3. Team (Office 365 Groups) classification visible in the the mobile app

While we can see the Teams classification in the desktop app and on the web, it is not visible in the mobile app. We believe it should be visible in the mobile app too as it would be important to understand a team classification (confidential, secret, etc) in ALL cases regardless of what methodology you use to access Teams.

  6. A single place to see all incoming message

It's currently very hard to see which messages are unread, you have to find all conversation and team channel written in bold in 2 distinct tab.
It could be find that the Activity tab or a new tab name "Recent" list all conversation and team channel in a same place ordering them with most recent on top.

There is no way to exit the Intro Video. I had to close the Tab. Add a close button.

Hi Oscar, I sent this to our release manager! I think he’ll like the idea. I’ll let you know if we move on it.

    Have a great weekend.

  9. Move status change up in the UI hierarchy (to single-click position)

I change status frequently in this and other chat apps. Most others allow for a one- or two-click path (or on Macs, add it to the Touch Bar), while Teams has a minimum of three clicks.

  10. In the german translation, please use 'du' instead of 'sie'

Please don't use the way too formal 'Sie', but instead 'Du'. This totally disturbs the user experience

  11. Keyboard shortcuts to type Umlaute and other international characters

In other O365 apps I can use keyboard shortcuts to type international characters on an English keyboard, for example, ç = ctrl+, and c, or ä = ctrl+: and a. See https://support.office.com/en-us/article/keyboard-shortcuts-for-international-characters-108fa0c1-fb8e-4aae-9db1-d60407d13c35. This is missing in Teams.

  12. Would like the ability to import data to an existing SharePoint List

There is a feature to import data to a new SharePoint List. Would like to expand this to allow the import of new data to an existing SharePoint List.

I found a 3rd part add-in for this functionality, but our company does not allow that.

Hi folks, the “Edit” button can be turned off at the Team and Tenant level. Please check your Team settings and your Tenant settings to see if that’s the case, then email Alex.Rector@microsoft.com with your findings. She’s investigating whether this is a bug or not.

    Thanks,

  15. "Adaptive Cards" should have HTML formatting to become aligned with Sharepoint Lists

"Adaptive Cards" should have HTML formatting to become aligned with SharePoint lists.
SharePoint Lists allow for rich text formatting, but when presenting this in an Adaptive Card in TEAMS this is not possible.
Even worse modifying rich text using an adaptive card is not possible at all.
Allowing to pass all formatting from SharePoint List, would be great and allow for cool cards

  16. One notetab, option to use the team notebook (as before January 10, 2018 release)

Since January 10, 2018 release the insertion of a onenote has changed completely, it was less flexible but really convenient before notebook structure was equivalent to teams stucture. Can you add the option "use the notebook of the team and channel section" (=as before) when adding a new tab onenote?
Copy past of the release note :" A better OneNote tab

When you create a new OneNote tab in a channel, you now have the option of linking to an existing notebook or pasting a link to a OneNote page or section. Doing that also lets everyone in the channel…

  17. When teams logs out it should give a different message

When you get logged out in the mac client it says:

"You signed out of your account
It's a good idea to close all browser windows."

    1. I did not sign out it autosigned out on it's own. The wording implies some action I did signed me out rather than an auto timeout.

    2. I am using the mac client not a browser. Perhaps behind the scenes it is just a browser, but this terminology is confusing.

    3. It saying "it is a good idea to close all browser windows" implies both that I need to close browser windows (not true with the…

  18. Link previews render using the wrong language

I've set the app language in Teams to English (US) but sometimes link previews are rendered in some other language. For example links to twitter render in Dutch (I think), see attached image.

    The link sent was:

  20. Staffhub

Microsoft Staffhub was far easier to maneuver, easier to shift trade and view your work colleagues calendar. Often my reminders or notifications are behind or do not appear. I am. Unable to view my colleagues calendars and the phone ap needs to significantly improve

Hi There – My name is Amir and I am a product manager in the Shifts team. I am sorry to hear about your experience and would love to learn more about your issues. You should be able to see your colleagues shifts (assuming they are published of course) via the calendar or the time clock icon when youclick on a specific shift. If that’s not the case can you please file a bug with more details? we need more information investigate the root cause. Same goes for notification that should work without any issues. Thank in advance. We will keep working hard performance and usability of the app.
