Change the profile picture for guest users in Teams
I would like to display a picture for guest users in Microsoft Teams as well as general licensed users.
1,747 votesThank you for your feedback. The team is currently planning for a profile editing experience for Guests that will include changing profile images as well as updating display names. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

Guests should be able to send files in private chats
Guest can send files/images inside channels but not inside private chats. Without that feature the communication with external developers or testers is almost not possible or had to be done inside a channel, which would disturb other team members.
688 votesThank you for your continued feedback. The feature team has this item under review and is considering all options. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

Alerts in guest tenants
When you've been given access to a team as a guest there is currently no way to be alerted. All the little red notification only appear when you visit the guest team's tenant within Microsoft Teams. A notification on the account in "Your Accounts" would probably work.

resending invitation to join microsoft team
Please allow for some way to resend the inital invitation to a Team. Every time I do this at least one person never gets the mail it would be great if I could go to their name and just click a resend email.

Option to remove guest account (under Your accounts) from Microsoft Teams
As a guest, I cannot remove a guest account (under Your accounts) from my Microsoft Teams. I can leave all teams, I'm a guest member of, but I'm stuck with the account.
209 votesThank you for your feedback. The team has plans to add a feature to allow users to self-remove themselves from tenants they are a guest in. We don’t have a timeframe to share at this time, but will provide an update as soon as one is available.

Hide guest email address from other guests
Would like to use Teams as a platform to interact with coworkers and employees that don't have a company email or Office 365 account. The only thing preventing this from happening, is that their private/personal email addresses are shared with others. To protect their privacy, I'd like the ability to hide their contact info from other guests.

Show Teams from Guest Tenant in Sections rather than switching Tenant
Instead of having to switch Tenant, why not add a section Guest where Teams from other Tenants are displayed while still displaying our home tenant Teams.

Allow 'Guests' to have the same amount of functionality as a regular Member.
Allow 'Guests' to have the same amount of functionality as a regular Member. Or as much as possible while still keeping things secure.
When a Guest is added to the Team, often times they are at the same level of team membership / importance / contributor as actually internal Members and it makes no sense business wise to limit their functionality - arbitrarily - just because they are not part of our tenant.

Prevent Users from Joining External Tenants as Guest
In Skype for Business we had the ability to block our users from communicating with external users. We would like the ability to block our users from joining external tenants as guest to prevent data leak.

Tenant Friending
Treat users in your own organization but on different tenant differently than a regular guest. We should not have to add them a a Guest user in our tenant.

Provide central management for Guests invited in Teams
Current for guests invited in Teams, we can see a Guest contacts will be created in O365 Admin Portal --> Users --> Guest users. However, there is no detailed information showing who invited the Guest, which Teams group this Guest belongs to and there is no easy way to manage these Guests accordingly.
We would like to have central management feature for Guest users created in Teams.

Allow to share screen to External Contacts directly through Chat
Allow to share screen to External Contacts directly through Chat. Currently we can only share our screen to external contacts when in a meeting. We can share screen to our internal colleagues but not to External Users. We will be needing to add them as a Guest Users first.

Let Guest access work like SharePoint guest access.
Let Guest access work like SharePoint guest access.
Currently guest users are required to have a Teams subscription in their own tenant. It would be very helpful if guest access in Teams would function like guest access in SharePoint Online, including restricting the ability to invite guests to only those already in the Azure Active Directory associated with the tenant.70 votes
