Add group (DL/Sec group) to a Team by using the admin portal
It is now not possible to add a distribution or security group from the Teams admin portal.
This is also not possible by using PowerShell.I would be nice if administrators can manage this throughout the admin portal or using PowerShell.

you can do this directly from within the Teams client

share screen desktop mac doesn't work
When trying to share my screen desktop in a teams-meeting i get the instruction to enable Teams in "Screen recordings" but it's already enabled. This happende with the last update.
49 votesDue to increased security and permissions with Mac OS 10.15 Catalina, please ensure Teams is authorized to record your computer’s screen. Information on how to do that is here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/stream/portal-mac-catalina-permissions.
Hope this helps!

Can we please have more rooms available to book for meetings e.g. Capita House and Capita Park meeting and 121 rooms?
Have more rooms available to book for TEAMS meeting e.g. those in Dearne Valley
1 voteHi there and thank you for posting a suggestion in our public Teams UserVoice. Your request isn’t controlled by our product but instead by internal IT. They manage the resource list that appears in the product. I’d suggest reaching out to the IT dept. and issuing a ticket to make your suggestion. Thanks again! Microsoft Teams

Use Teams to replace Cisco Tele-Presence
We would like to use Teams and decommission our Cisco video conference room equipment. We need to lock video from site A to display to site B and in turn have site B lock on site A.
Today the current video options allow multiple screens at one time and the conference room get reduced to either 50% or 25% depending on the number of participants that join from home or phone. We have two large offices in the US and this request is mainly for our executive team, key influencers and budget approvers.

Video isn't working We couldn't use your webcam for video.
When using the video call feature for meetings, I get the error: "Video isn't working
We couldn't use your webcam for video." However, my webcam works for other programs. Would like this to be resolved, as I use video conferencing for work often.90 votesThe engineering team continues to actively investigate reports of camera issues.
Some things to try/be aware of:
1) Resolved: Windows Insider build 19592 had a regression that caused cameras not to work in Teams. As others on this thread have stated, this has been resolved in 19603 – thanks for confirming!2) Issues on Windows 10: When your camera isn’t working in Windows 10, it might be that the drivers are missing after a recent update. It’s also possible that your anti-virus program is blocking the camera or your privacy settings don’t allow camera access for some apps. This help page has a virtual agent to help resolve those issues: https://support.microsoft.com/help/13753/windows-10-camera-does-not-work
3) Issues on Mac: Many times the issue is that Teams doesn’t have access to the camera. Please see this apple support article to resolve.

Recurring Shifts
Allow setting a shift as recurring with beginning and end dates
1,207 votesThank you for your feedback! We are hard at work improving the Shifts app experience including adding recurring shifts. In the meantime, we wanted to share some tips and tricks to help with some pain-points mentioned:
1) Make Edits to Your Schedule (Delete, Undo, Minor Copy Edits): Shifts works similarly to Excel in certain regards, so make sure to highlight shifts with your mouse and utilize keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+Z) to copy, delete, or undo actions. We find it helpful doing this particularly in month view and week view.
2) Copy Button: Use the copy button on the top right to copy any timeframe you need for the entire schedule.
3) Search for Shifts in Creation Phase: When creating a shift, utilize the search command to find shifts that have already been created in the past. We’ll keep you posted when we have more news!

Bluetooth capability on Android app
Android app does not have Bluetooth capability. Please add this asap.
68 votesThanks for feedback! We have fixed many Bluetooth issues in recent updates, so we recommend taking the following steps:
(1) update to the latest Teams app,
(2) clear Bluetooth cache if you are using Android (search on Bing for how to do this for your particular device)
(3) pair your Bluetooth headset again.
If you are still experiencing issues, please help us by posting your phone model, BT headset model, current Teams client info, and when the issue occurs. You can also send us more information by choosing “Report an Issue” from Settings in the Teams app. Thank you! -
Basic reports and call lists for queues and AA
Teams needs an overview, reports, log about the usage of call queues with some basic features like number of calls answered, missed, average waiting time.
Also a list of answered and missed calls.I have some small businesses who use or want to use Teams as their primary phone system and need AA/Call Queues for some very basic form of "customer service line" (although that term might overstate what they need) and they want to see missed calls so they can return the call.
941 votesThank you for your feedback, the team still has this item under review to add more data and enhancements, and are taking your votes adn comments into account.
Please visit https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoftteams/cqd-teams-aa-cq-historical-report to see if this helps in obtaining data around Auto Attendant and Call Queue. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

Unable to start meeting as organizer. Stuck in virtual lobby.
Unable to start meeting as organizer. Scheduled Teams meeting via Outlook as the organizer. Went to join meeting as the organizer, signed into the desktop/app version of Teams, and was held in the lobby - waiting for someone to start the session/let me in. Unfortunately, given I was the creator/organizer, no one could get in - as I was stuck in the same lobby.
Any ideas on what may be going on?
288 votesThis issue is in our backlog, but we wanted to share a workaround that may help in the meantime. You may run into this issue if your Outlook client is logged into a different account than your Teams client.
As a workaround, when you join the meeting, make sure your Outlook client and Teams client are logged into the same account that the meeting was scheduled from.

No Audio Devices Showing
Hello,
The issue I am having with Microsoft Teams is that suddenly all my audio devices are not showing up in the program. Teams does not detect any audio devices at all, neither my digital mixing console nor the computer's own built-in HD Audio jacks. See screenshot.
The Windows audio control panel detects all connected audio devices as normal, as do all other programs on the PC. The issue is with Teams only.
Version number, according to About menu is "1.1.00.25457 (64-bit). It was last updated on 10/2/18."
I hope this issue gets fixed soon, as Teams is completely unusable…
34 votesIf you are on Windows and your audio device is not available in Teams, please see this article for steps you can take: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4520288/windows-10-fix-sound-problems.

disable team creation
From a safeguarding and child protection point of view, in a school environment, it is not appropriate to allow students or staff to create new teams. Can the ability to disable team creation please be added?
Unfortunately the powershell options to disable teams/O365 groups requires you to have Azure AD Premium, which many peopl including ourselves do not have. The UI option in Azure AD to stop users creating security/O365 groups, even when set to No, does not work.
Students are still able to create Teams, and the fear is that this could be used for bullying purposes. Our senior…

Ability to Change Team Type
When I set up a team, because it's a work team I selected Staff. That gave me the staff notebook and all associated weirdness.
I want to just have my old normal notebook back, but every time I delete all the sections (Collaboration, Content Library, section group for every team member) they respawn.
Now I know this, I'm going to have to nuke the current team, and recreate it with the settings for "anyone" rather than "staff" and copy all my stuff across.
Just being able to change the team type would fix all of this.

Office 365 Homework Tracker!
Hello everyone,
I am a high school English teacher and have been using Office 365 apps for a while now. I am a great believer in the positive impact that ICT tools have on student engagement and effective teaching. Furthermore, I have been promoting the use of ICT in my faculty and with my colleagues, especially with reducing the amount of paper work we accumulate. Consequently, I believe the addition of a new feature will greatly encourage teachers to use Office 365. The new feature that I am proposing is a Homework Tracker for teachers. Homework is a critical part…
5 votesHello,
Thanks for sharing the information. We currently do have a product Microsoft Teams Assignments which has the similar feature that you described above. Hope you like the product and join us in the journey to make teachers life easy. Thanks,

After update on MAC - notifications are missed
There have been many times where teams has updated while it’s been minimized on my machine, causing me to not see any new messages until the next time I’ve manually re-opened and logged in again.
22 votesThe feedback I have received is that this issue is directly related to modern authentication.
If your company is not using modern auth’ the Teams app will force you to relog after updates, which causes you to miss notifications.
Instructions on how to setup modern authentication can be found at – https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/msi-deployment

Camera sideways...cant be rotated
Camera shows video sideways... Why does it not rotate according to the orientation of the tablet?
211 votesAs some comments here stated, there is a known issue where your image will rotate 90 degrees with using the non-Chromium version of Edge, typically experienced on a tablet device. We are investigating solutions.
In the meantime, some things you can try:
1) Install and use Teams for Desktop – https://products.office.com/microsoft-teams/download-app
2) Install and use the new Chromium Edge -
https://www.microsoft.com/edge3) Lock rotation on your device.
4) Go to Windows Settings – Display – Display orientation – select “landscape” if not already selected. If it is, switch to something else, then revert.
I’m hoping one of these solves the issue for you for now, while we continue to investigate a fix on the Teams side. Feel free to comment with what works for you, or that you’re still having the problem.
Thanks!

Files shared in "chat" should work like Files shared in "Teams"
- Files shared in individual chats should appear under the files tab, both within the conversation and in the blue tab on the side bar.
- Files shared in individual chats should appear when searched for in the search bar.
Neither of these things happen. It's inconsistent, counterintuitive, and obnoxious. Please implement.
77 votesI have had this problem too, and trust me I find it not intuitive either.
I’ve sent this to the Files team and I’m going to find out where this is on the backlog so I can report back to you guys.
Meanwhile, the workaround is that you have to delete the chat message of which you sent the message.
Thanks and tweet me @skprufo if you have any questions!

unable to unmute dialed in users
When muting all users during a meeting with "mute all" it also mutes the dialed in users. However they are unable to unmute themselves as they are dialed in. There is also no way for me to unmute those users requiring them to call back in
482 votesWhen dialed into a meeting, users can press *6 to mute/unmute. Please see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/audio-conferencing-common-questions#what-in-meeting-dial-pad-commands-are-supported for further information.
I thought this was Skype parity, but stand corrected… my apologies. I will investigate presenter ability to unmute attendees with the feature team. Thanks all.

Personal workspace along with Teams
I think it would be great to have a personal workspace that lives along side your Teams. This would give you a similar toolkit as a Team with the conversation element pulled out. You would have quick access to your files (OD4B), OneNote, important stuff, etc. via tabs and then could use
I suppose this would just be the merging of the chat and files tab into a space that would also give you the ability to use tabs and connectors.
Might need some workshopping, but I think this could be a powerful way to get people spending a lot…
