  1. Option to peek at a user's calendar

I often want a quick way to see what someone's availability is like on their calendar. Adding a button to the card that shows up when you hover on a user would be a great place for that.

  2. Add the ability to remove the "submit to app catalog button"

Admins should have the ability to prevent users from submitting custom apps to the app catalog for approval. I understand an admin has to publish/approve the app before it is allowed, but a notification is not given to the admin and can result in a submitted app waiting for approval for a long time. If a company is not using custom apps for teams, this button does not need to be available to users.

  3. customize group chat image

Would be great to have option to customize group chat image in Microsoft Teams, so you will notice the chat you are looking for also because the image.

  4. Chat function vc Other Teams functionality

Chat function should not close the other page or file you may be reviewing. Maybe it could run as a separated item.

  5. always show vertical scroll bar when scrolled

The vertical scroll bar in chat should always be visible when you've scrolled so you know you're scrolled. This is the visual queue used by all (windows) applications and users.

Scenario: Scroll up to view some history. Walk away and come back later. The window is scrolled, there is no scroll bar and you've forgotten that the thread didn't end where it looks like it ends. You reply to the text you see and not the head. This is more embarrassing when you've already replied and you don't see your own reply because you're scrolled.

  6. Show camera/videos of attendees at the top of the screen.

Show camera/videos of attendees at the top of the screen.
To be able to see the videos of the other attendees of the meeting during watching into the camera, it would be better to have them at the top of the screen, because most cameras are at the top of the laptop or attached to the top of the monitor.

  7. Manage Expansion Modules / side cars

Whilst the support for the expansion modules is a good thing, it does feel like a complete afterthought with the current release of Teams (1449/1.0.94.2021022403)
    I see two main problems:
Numbers are listed for speed dials - not the display names as on the main display. Heard it's slated for June release...
No order nor grouping of the buttons.
We have 24 hour operations in many locations - to have APAC on page 1, EMEA on page 2 and AMERS on page 3 would make it so much more usable.
Ability to group items - you can now pin a…

  8. Ability to add more than 10 entries to Teams Auto Attendant Holiday Sets

With only 10 possible entries available in the Teams Admin center when creating a holiday set for an Auto Attendant, I often need to create and link multiple sets per Auto Attendant. Please just add 20 more!

  9. Be able to move the form easier

Have a space in the Caption Bar to move the screen more easily. With the search box there, it is difficult to find a spot to click and drag the form

  11. report a problem

Currently, there is anoption under "Help" to "Report a problem". This redirects to edusupport.microsoft.com for users to log any issues they have with Teams.

While useful, our tenant is extremely customised, and advice being given to our staff is not always accurate. We need our users to log jobs with our own Service Desk, NOT with the Microsoft Premier Support staff.

This will ensure correct advice is given.

But, there is no way currently to hide the button, so our staff are logging jobs in 2 places - with Microsoft, and with our Service Desk. This is a waste of…

  12. Give back the title bar. Aiming for the few remaining pixels to move the window is irritating

Like other Microsoft programs, teams is getting harder and harder to use day to day. Windows has had title bars since the beginning of Windows and we are used to being able to just click anywhere and drag to move a window. You've made this irritating by requiring the user to hunt down the tiny remaining space on the window. You've even made the shift->right click trick in the task bar no longer work. Stop trying to make User Interfaces harder to use.

  13. Let us paste as plain text as a right click option and a shortcut that doesn't start a video call

Paste as plain test was available with [ctrl]+[shift]+[V] but now clashes with "start a video call" please add this functionality back in.

  14. Return size of status change clickable area back to its original area.

Before one of the recent updates, it was very easy to change your status by clicking your avatar icon > pops open your quick settings > click anywhere on your avatar / name top banner area > choose status.

In last update they made that area no longer clickable and now there is only a tiny area within the top banner / avatar where you have to click to change status on a drop down.

This is annoying when having to frequently change status.

Please revert to larger clickable area like before or make status change drop down larger.

  15. Personalized Workspace for Quick Access

A customizable "Personal Workspace" to provide quick access to int/ext links, Channels, and files from OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint without changing their current folder locations. The personal workspace would be a place to create and maintain a system of shortcuts to personalize AND SPEED UP navigation. It would also need to have drill-down functionality including shortcuts within shortcuts, and the ability to create and share subpages from this workspace. (As a stop gap, I am using a powerpoint presentation with links I've added to actual folder icons as a way to navigate more quickly from my highest priority files,…

  16. Android version appointments should work like desktop version

It is really hard to keep up with appointments as in android version they are not sorted by group as in desktop version of teams. Appointments from hidden groups should be hidden as well

  17. Throw virtuall Pen

When having heated discussions I would like to have the feature to throw a virtuall pen on someone so it hits them. Just like teachers did before when they throw charcs at the students that was not behaving.

Usefull for showing frustration with someone

  18. Implement better sorting of chats.

It'd be great if group chats were separate from individual chats. Also please allow for pinning of 15 chats to be pinned.

  19. better status icons in high contrast theme

I don't use dark theme like almost everyone, I like high contrast theme. yes!

I think it looks really good, except for one little detail:
The status icons (Away, Idle, Available, ...)

In high contrast all of them are white and only have minor differentes.
They are quite small, which isn't a problem in dark theme, because they use different colors. (Available = green, Away = red, ...) but in high contrast theme it is a problem because you always need to look closely to see what the status of a person is.

In my opinion it would be way…

  20. I do not like the new dark theme, prefered the previous one.

I like the dark theme but cannot tell where the definitive lines are between different section of the screen. The previous dark theme was much nicer for that.
