Seriously there is no help file ?
I read your 14 page "user guide". This is a sales pamphlet. It shows the website for Teams help, but that website is awful and has almost xero INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO DO TASKS IN TEAMS. Not videos, not descriptions of features. We need help. Like this:
To save a file, select file menu> save.1 voteThank you for identifying this issue – it has since been resolved. If you are still seeing this issue, please sign out of Microsoft Teams, then sign back in. This will quickly clear the cache, and should then allow you to see all of the Help content. Thanks again or reporting this!

Allow to use @team and @channel on multi-byte (Japanese language) environment.
Allow to use @team and @channel on multi-byte (Japanese language) teams environment.
They don't work anymore and we have to use @チーム and @チャネル. The flow to put them in is "@" > "switch input mode to multi-byte" > "ti-mu" > "convert into Katakana" > "Enter".
They are inconvenient and @team and @channel are simple and better to us.
104 votesThank you for your feedback. We are pleased to announce that Microsoft Teams now support @team and @channel in both localized language and English. The feature change is currently being rolled out, and it is expected to be completed by the end of March.
大変お待たせいたしました。お客様のリクエストにお応えして、日本語と英語の両方で
team (
チーム)と@channel (@チャネル)をサポートできるようになりました。この変更は現在段階的ににリリースされており、3月末にはすべてのお客様に届く予定です。 -
Private channels within Teams
It would be great if you can make certain channels within a team visible to selected team members.

Private Channels for confidential work
A private space within a team would be useful to have conversations/ approvals/ executive decisions separated from other team/ project members viewing.
Currently this can be done by adding another team, however this is messy as each project has its own group of executives. It also separates the decisions from related conversations, which defeats the purpose of teams, to bring conversations and related work under one team.

Allow us to remove users from chat group
It’ll be perfect if we are able to remove people from a chat group instead of having to create a different one.
1 voteRemoving People from group chats became available on desktop & mobile in Nov. 2019. Please see this article for details: https://support.office.com/article/leave-or-remove-someone-from-a-group-chat-7db55a67-0ba4-4409-a399-5ed502a1d094
Note: Your admin will need to turn on this setting to allow members to remove each other from a group chat.

Users added to team line removed
In each general channel a new line gets created for all new users added to a team. Can this line be removed?
As an example I setup a team and get some posts ready for welcome messages and introductions, then when I add groups of people, after a few lines all my messages have pushed up and off the screen.
We have one specific team for all in the business and all the threads are getting lost as we add each department/individuals one by one.5,176 votesThank you for your feedback! To improve the message pane in General channels, we have moved system messages to our info pane. Chat Room Participant Limit and Vote to Kick Feature
As far as I understood it is hard to assign someone as a Chat Room owner and that is why we cannot kick people out of the chat room. But if you add a feature like voting to kick people out that issue will be sorted. Also please try to increase the participant number in the chat rooms. 20 people limit is a huge issue for some cases, esp when we have no privacy in the Team tab.
9 votesYou can include up to 100 people in a group chat.

Maximum number of members
More than 2500 members!
We are a company of more than 15,000, in our global capabilities we frequently exceed 2,500.
Our Architecture community is around 3,600.
As an alternative a model where a "Master" team can aggregate other teams is introduced, this member limit - is truly limiting.15 votes -
Microsoft cut the excuses. Offer a free tier for small teams.
Be decent and offer a truly free, permanent tier for small teams, i.e. up to 10 people like any modern company does.
Spare us the "BizSpark" nonsense. Informal teams are rejected there.

Increase User Limit Above 2500
Will need the team user limit to increase well beyond 2500 users to allow for company wide communications.
172 votesWe are pleased to announce general availability of 5,000 member teams. Starting today, all new and existing teams can accommodate up to 5,000 members, double the previous limit. Larger groups can now collaborate effortlessly in a single team and leaders can connect with a broad audience within their organization.
Thanks for the feedback, and for being great Teams users!

Archive Teams
We often create agile teams to work on a specific project. Once the project is completed we would like to archive the team in order not to loose the content. Currently we just remove them from our favorites which means that the more list keeps growing. A function to archive a team would be appreciated.
Best regards

duplicate a team
Please add in a feature to allow duplicating an entire team. It would be helpful two have two duplication options:
1) Duplicate this team & copy it's members to the duplicate
2) Duplicate this team without any members36 votesHi – please check out this article for what to do… https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Create-a-team-from-an-existing-team-f41a759b-3101-4af6-93bd-6aba0e5d7635. Thanks!

Links to Channels in Public Teams don't work
Links to Channels in Public Teams don't work. If you click a link to a Channel in a Public Team that you've not yet joined, the link does not work. This was a feature just added to the April 26, 2017 update on Windows (release note below).
"Link to a channel or team: Now, you can grab a shareable link to a channel or team just by clicking the … next to the channel or team name. Copy and paste the link in a message or email to give someone a quick and easy entry point to key conversations, files,…

Prevent Team from showing in Outlook Global Address List
Is there any way to prevent Teams from showing up in the Global Address List in Outlook?
Some of our team names might be specific to a problem, or have a ticket#, or even downright silly (see attached screenshot). We don't want to lock down Team creation; we'd just like to prevent the Team from showing up in the GAL (by default).
137 votesGreat news everyone! This feature request has released!
Based on customer feedback, new Office 365 Groups generated as a result of creating a team in Microsoft Teams will no longer show in Outlook by default.
For customers that want to continue with the existing behavior of showing these groups in Outlook, an Exchange Online PowerShell cmdlet will be provided which can enable the group for the Outlook experience. Groups created through Outlook and then later enabled for Teams will continue to show in both Outlook and Teams. This update will gradually roll out across Outlook and Teams in the coming months.Roadmap mention – https://products.office.com/en-us/business/office-365-roadmap?filters=&featureid=26955

Increase user limit beyond 999
Will need the team user limit to increase well beyond 999 users to support a "team" for company-wide communication, for a very large company (15,000+).
89 votesGreat news! Your team membership limit is now 2,500 people in any one team.
This 2,500 limit includes both guests and regular members in your team.
Also, your channels per team limit is still 100.
Thanks and tweet me at @skprufo if you have any questions.
Sincerely,

Recreate deleted channel
Deleted channels cannot be recreated. They are visible in ShaerPoint, but cannot be recreated or restored in Teams.
889 votesThe restore the deleted channel is available. Here is the release note snip.
Restore a deleted channel
You’re now able to restore any channel you deleted up to 21 days after taking action (click Manage team then open the Channels tab to get started). Anyone can do this by default, but there’s a team setting that restricts restoring and deleting channels to team owners only.
Since the restore channel is available I will flag this one completed.
However, we are still working on the issue with SharePoint folder names not being synced after deleting or renaming. The UV topic tracking the SharePoint issue can be found at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16927219-re-using-the-same-channel-name

Team Templates
A team template!! Much like sharepoint document site or site templates that contain a specific layout and set of documents this would be amazing for a team template. We could deploy a team for each project we had that had a preset assignment of planner tasks and documents attached to it and a preset of channels that goes with that team. Could really make a big difference in the way we deploy and use teams.

Forward an email to a channel
A useful feature for an intact Team that is just starting to use Microsoft Teams would be the ability to forward an existing email to a channel.
378 votesHi everyone, we’ve added the ability to create an email address for a channel. You can see more details here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Teams/Can-I-Email-to-a-Team-channel/m-p/51774/highlight/false#M2784
Some of you have reached out to let me know that this doesn’t address your other needs around being able to send emails into and out of Teams. Please email me at sparavi@microsoft.com, because I’m collating all your feedback and will submit a follow up request to this item to the team.
Thanks everyone, and thank you for making Teams better and better with your great feedback and participation.
