  2. Viewing shared image is over the top of the Audio Call button

    When viewing an image that is being shared thru a chat the CLOSE button is right over the top of where the Audio Call button also resides. Then when you close the shared image you inadvertently hit the Audio Call button when you're not meaning to.

  4. Share in Teams from Office 365

    Provide the capability across Office 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Delve, Sway, Stream...) to share a piece of content in Teams. This would share a link to the piece of content, not upload a copy.

  6. MS Teams emails are sent to the spam folder because of badly configured SPF

    Hello, there seems to be an issue with the emails that are sent by MS Teams - they fail the spam test (specifically the SPF records are not properly set) :

    ARC-Authentication-Results: i=1; mx.google.com;
    dkim=pass header.i=@wiley.onmicrosoft.com header.s=selector2-wiley-onmicrosoft-com header.b=ZjKcZ/OV;
    spf=fail (google.com: domain of noreply@email.teams.microsoft.com does not designate 104.47.36.48 as permitted sender) smtp.mailfrom=noreply@email.teams.microsoft.com;
    dmarc=fail (p=REJECT sp=REJECT dis=QUARANTINE) header.from=microsoft.com

    The result is that, by default, all Teams email fall in the spam if you are using a gmail account...

  8. Calendar Planner and Timeline tabs

    Teams would mayb benefit of having +3 default tabs in addition to “Conversations” and “Files” in their “General” channel: “Planner”, “Calendar” and “Timeline” they might act as hubs, or summary of all the time items set across the different channels within a Team (excepted “private” channels). A single tab with the possibility to switch between views and with check box to show/hide the different type of items and different channels would do the job perfectly.

  9. Hides Windows Taskbar and can't adjust window size

    I can't adjust the size of the Teams desktop app window. It only displays full-screen (which covers the Windows taskbar so I can't easily access the other programs I have open) or minimized to the taskbar.

  12. Team (Office 365 Groups) classification visible in the the mobile app

    While we can see the Teams classification in the desktop app and on the web, it is not visible in the mobile app. We believe it should be visible in the mobile app too as it would be important to understand a team classification (confidential, secret, etc) in ALL cases regardless of what methodology you use to access Teams.

  13. Changing the default time that Microsoft Teams client is detected as inactive and e-mailing alerts

    Microsoft Teams client has an alert function when the client status has been detected as inactive. To enable this function, we need to sign out from the client or keep Teams client non-operative state more than an hour consecutively.

    I would like to change the notification timing to be optional, not 1 hour default setting. It would be fine when I always operate Microsoft Teams, but I sometimes need to send an immediate e-mail alert, so allowing to change alert timing could improve work efficiency.

  14. Select my own startup layout

    I predominately use the teams tab and therefore would like MS Teams to start with that page instead of activety page
    My suggestion is to make an option so everyone can select his or her own startup page

  16. Connect with "Groups" conversation in Outlook

    I was surprised that conversations within Teams doesn't show up inside the conversation thread in Outlook Groups. Please consider at least connecting the "General" channel with the Outlook Conversation.

    thank you!  ·  Warren responded

    Thanks for the feedback.

    We are considering a number of ways to better integrate experiences across Teams, Outlook, and other apps. However, we don’t have any specifics to share on this request.

  17. webhook

    Events or Webhooks to get notified whenever a message is posted in a channel or team.:

    For development purpose, when we need to monitor a channel, events to a URI must be available whenever a message is posted by a user. This feature is available in several messaging clients like Slack, Webex Teams , Watson Workspace. This would be really useful.

  18. Chats should have a "pop-up" notification similar to Skype, or incoming Outlook email.

    Have a small notification that appears on the screen when someone is chatting with you. If Team is minimized chats get missed.

  19. Please make it faster. It seems like it used to work very quickly and lightweight. But now doing any simple chatting taxes my PC!

    Please make it faster. It seems like it used to work very quickly and lightweight. But now doing any simple chatting taxes my PC!

    The fan on my PC goes absolutely crazy once I start up a chat- and especially whenever I open a video chat. My teammates and I were routinely using this to chat throughout the day and now it is becoming a painful bandwidth hog.

    I think this has been happening for at least a couple of months now.

  20. Keep Teams in place with desktop switching

    I use multiple virtual desktops on Windows and switch between them with hotkeys. Teams is perpetually updating, which I know because I frequently see the toast notification "Teams is up to date". If it updates while I'm actively working on another desktop, and if I click an incoming message or the app icon on the toolbar, it will open on whichever desktop I am using at the time. Instead, it should remember the desktop I snapped it to and stay there. I have a very particular arrangement, and when Teams jumps around it causes 2 problems: (1) it's in the…
