It does not appear that Guest users can be a presenter in a Live Event meeting. This is a key functionality as not all presenters will be employees.22 votes
Teams Needs to allow a connector to be developed for Kuando Busylights. They are used in MANY open office arangements and companies can't transition to Teams from SfB until the connector is developed. To do that Microsoft needs to release the call and presence API documentation.50 votes
For a meeting scheduled using Teams, it would be great to be able to delegate the organizer role so that someone else can reschedule the meeting during my absence. For instance for Executive Assistants or PTO.192 votes
Currently Teams is sending notifications towards other users when they are offline or unreachable. In those notifications the first word of the displayname is being used instead of the full Displayname or just the given (first) name. In large organisations this leads to very confusing funny situations. As an example we use as displayname the last name followed by a comma and then the first name.
So at the end you get notifications like Hi Van, Van has send you a message.14 votes
When I'm already on a call if a new call comes in, Teams still rings as if I'm available. It should give a busy tone, go to voicemail or just ring-out - but do it silently in the background. Or with minimal interruption. If I'm on a call it will reduce the audio to allow Teams to ring!48 votes
Teams icon pinned in taskbar doesn't blink orange anymore when I receive new messages. I cannot find an option to turn this. Was this removed?74 votes
The Teams mobile client needs a Driving Audio Mode. In this mode, the screen sharing and video goes off. The audio controls stay on screen and the mute button is nice and large and easy to hit. With it currently, when I'm driving, I often have to go on and off mute and so I'm having to tap the screen to get the controls to show up, then tap in a very small spot quickly before the controls disappear. This makes me take my concentration off the road too much.62 votes
Currently, anonymous join to the Teams meetings is not allowed when using Internet Explorer by design.
We would like to invite external users to Teams meetings whose environment is Windows 7, so they cannot use Microsoft Edge. Also, they have to use Internet Explorer because they are not allowed to use a third-party browser. Therefore, they have a trouble to join Teams Meetings anonymously.
We would request to improve the function for external users to join Teams meetings anonymously using Internet Explorer.36 votes
Giphy keyboards on other business comm apps have amuch more extensive library if gifs as well as a much better search feature (i.e. Slack)
Please improve the giphy keyboard - we all love using it but the Teams one is quite unuseful!45 votes
Deploy Teams over the network to GPO setting that will launch the application only in the background mode.134 votes
Make it possible to add multiple existing shifts on the same member. The only possible way seems to be on Day view or creating a new shift (not use the exisiting shift).17 votes
We already love the Praise option, and we hope Microsoft can enable some tracking so people can see how many "praises" they get and of the various types. Find a way to make them into badges after so many of a certain type are received. Give a way to track this via analytics data.14 votes
would it be possible to add the reply button to the chats in Teams just like in the Teams channels. It would be easier then to reply to a previous statement when the chat grows and get bigger with lots of statements. Replying to an old statement is fundamental sometimes to get the chat flow without loosing the topic.
Something like Whatsapp, where you can select the statement and reply to that one only. That would become a huge enhancement within company that are largely using Teams.
Is it possible to write an C# desktop CTI adapter that observes incoming/outgoing calls over Teams and also starts them?
Goal: Connect Existing .NET desktop CTI client with a running instance of Microsoft Teams
Is it possible with Teams SDK:
• to observe incoming PSTN calls that go trough Teams client?
• to accept or deny the incoming PSTN call?
• to observe the call status of the PSTN call (offering, connected, disconnected)?
• to initiate a new phone call with the PSTN number?42 votes
Using a Skype Room System with an E5 license allows you to initiate a telephone call either via Skype or via Teams. When using the Teams option, you can dial a telephone # but once connected the dial pad is no longer accessible. When dialing into a conference #, this is often required in order to enter a PIN or conference code. The Skype option allows this dial pad access after a call is connected.75 votes
We want to use Shifts to align our absences in the teams. It should be possible to enter time-offs just once in one team for a team member and these time-offs are directly transferred/visible in the other teams in which this person is a member. Changes should also be done only once and be visible to all teams.20 votes
PSTN Reverse Number Lookup (show username from Address book not PSTN number) in Teams Toast and Call History
When a PSTN user calls you on Microsoft Teams, if the number is in the address book I would like to be presented with the users name on the toast, not just the PSTN number. The same for call history or anywhere else a PSTN number appears in the client74 votes
Generally the download experience with Teams is pretty poor and I'm amalgamating suggestions in to one
- Configuration of download location other than default download folder
- Download progress and fixing of hanging UI when downloading file
- Permanent notification to user in chat/team room or even a downloaded management area showing downloaded files with a direct link to open file
- Ability to open file directly from notification
- Ability to open folder from all areas download is listed
- Ability to download to a different one time location from the file hamburger menu94 votes

Hi! I’m happy to let you know this feature is actively being worked on. We’ll keep you posted!

Absolutely need search capability for Wiki within Teams. A Wiki without search becomes somewhat useless as soon as you add a moderate amount of content and forces you to re-think where you want to store the information.267 votes
