  1. Teams freezes if "Logitech Group" USB Conference Webcam is attached

Whenever I plug in the "Logitech Group" conference system (webcam/microphone, https://www.logitech.com/de-de/product/conferencecam-group) into my Macbook Pro (Catalina 10.15.3) via USB, MS teams freezes and I cannot start any call. Only unplugging fixes the freeze.

Basically I cannot use our video conferencing system with Teams, despite it being advertised as being compatible. Using other Apps on my Macbook to record videos works fine, so definitely a Teams problem.

  2. outlook integrations for shifts

Once a user is assigned a schedule within shifts the schedule should sync to their outlook calendar.

It would also be nice to see Available shifts in outlook and be able to accept them (or at least link to the shift in teams to be able to accept)

  3. Voicemail on busy

When someone calls me, either internally or externally, and I'm on another call, the default behavior should send the call to voicemail after popping a notification and perhaps a subtle ring. This business of ringing more than once when I'm on a call is not helpful.

  4. Make "Raise Your Hand" more visible to participants

We started using the new button for "raise your hand" which comes in handy. However, it is not too visible to participants. Especially when presenting (not visible at all).
So, would be very useful to make this much more visible during the calls, displayed on the main video screen (not only in chat)

  5. End meeting means End meeting

Once the meeting has ended, no more people can join it or get back in, no more people can write in the associated chat. Ending the meeting actually ends the meeting completely and no more contributions to that meeting can be made

  6. More than one person on live event screen

It would be WONDERFUL to have more than one webcam showing in a live event. This would allow for a panel discussion and proper virtual interaction/debate between presenters. Similar to what GoToWebinar has
    Is this in the pipeline?

  7. Enable gallery view for Teams Live Events

Enable gallery view of all presenters in a Teams Live Event to the attendees so they are able to see video of all presenters at same time.

  8. Customize default sort order of folders in Teams

Folders in Teams are sorted by default on last modified date. There is no option to set a different default sort order like an alphabetic sort order.

Please add options that allows the user to set his/her own default sort order in order to sort folder names in Teams.

  9. Create meeting in private channel

Until now we can only create a meeting in an open channel. Why not in a private channel?

  10. Increase Presenter Limit in Teams Live Event from 9

Increase the Presenter/Producer limit from 9 to 50. Some enterprises may have about 4 presenters per geography. If you have 8 locations with 4 presenters each then Live Events isn't an application that can be leveraged. Conversely, Skype Broadcast can accommodate a high number of presenters.

Thank you for your share and vote :)

  11. Pin a particular user's video feed to always be up as an always-on square (ASL interpretation)

This is about more advanced video pinning options. The current option is to pin a video to take an entire frame.

Ideally, we just want to have one user's frame be always visible, while the other frames can change per speaker.

The primary use case for this is ASL interpretation of a meeting.

  12. Live Event - Producer voice isolation

We held our first teams Live Event yesterday, on the whole it was amazing. My only gripe is that as producer I would like the option to be able to speak to the presenters without the attendees being able to hear.

    Thanks

    Edd

  14. Whole Group, Small Group, and Partner Modes

This is related to the idea of "Breakout Rooms," which I know is very popular. When teaching, it's common not only to use small groups for increased engagement in discussions, but partner work is also essential. It would be nice if you could have three modes for a Team meeting: whole group mode, small group mode, and partner mode.

This would simply be adding an additional layer to the breakout group concept, with the option of pairing only two people together for further discussion. It would be nice to be able to assign those partnerships before the meeting as the…

  15. Number of participants visible in video call

Option in settings to choose the maximum number of participants of the video conference call we want to see (to chose between 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 16, 20 and 25).
Until this number is reached, the app shuld automatically add participats and adjust the size of each stream on the screen.
When there are more participants than actually set in settings, the user should be prompted to change the maximum number.
In the bottom of the screen there should be the option to toggle between the current number of visible participants (the one speaking or the last 4, 6,…

  16. Disable chat temporarily during meetings

Please allow meeting organizer to temporarily disable chat during a meeting.
We often have people so focused on the chat, they don't pay any attention to the actual meeting.
We'd love to be able to turn off chat at the beginning of the meeting, and then turn it back on at an appropriate point.

  17. Gallery view and more

Enable participants more viewing options, including speaker view, conversation view, gallery view (of all participants). Currently the max per window is 4, which does not allow people to see all others on a call/in a meeting. It would also be good to be able to move the image of yourself to different locations in the window.

  19. Show published and dismissed questions in Teams Live Event Q&A report

The current Q&A report in Live Event only includes: Source, Type, Identity, Timestamp, Conversation, Id and Content. It should show
more detailed data in the Q&A including questions that were published and questions that were dismissed.

  20. Manage default Teams Video layout

We should be able to manage how incoming video is displayed to meeting participants. Currently the default view is fill frame, which is poor to use, especially with meeting rooms with people being cut off and the camera panning back and forth. We should be able to choose at a tenant level that the video should fit the frame, rather than telling all of our users that they need to right click the video, and change it manually.
