  1. Have end users change participant settings (lobby settings) for Teams meetings

    Just like with Skype for Business have a setting that allows our end users to change the participant settings for Teams Meetings as described here for Skype for Business: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/change-participant-settings-for-skype-for-business-meetings-9175e297-de5f-43b2-8e0f-85cc05e24986

  2. Add Closed Captions to Live Events

    In Live Events, we would like to have Closed captions added to the Event for Deaf and hard of hearing Participants and presenters.

  3. linux screen share red outline

    On windows, if we do a screen share, there is a red outline around the screen. However on teams for linux there is no red outline and it can be confusing which screen we are sharing.

    Also, thank you so much for teams on Linux!

  4. Ability to Mute a Conversation Thread

    Please allow the ability for individual users to mute replies to a thread they have participated in. Allow this to be a toggle located under the three dot menu or an additional hover button.

    Muting of conversation threads is available to the public. Just like muting a chat, turning off notifications to a channel conversation will stop you from receiving updates for that specific conversation.

    To turn off notifications for specific conversations

    • Go to the beginning of a conversation in a channel
    • Go to the top right corner of the original message in the conversation thread and select More options … > Turn off notifications.
  5. Enable Shifts for Government cloud users - GCC

    Please enable SHIFTS for government cloud users - GCC. I work at a government agency. We use Office 365, just starting to experiment with Teams. We have GCC license. We have shift workers - in fact 3 shifts each day 24 x 7. Shifts will be an extremely useful tool for us to schedule our workers. Currently we use a spreadsheet.

  6. Adding Room devices to a Teams Live Event.

    During a Teams Live Event we can either take the TeamClients or a RTMP encoder as streaming source. It would be great to gain the ability to add SIP-endpoints or Skype Room system too.
    Being able to stream from any SIP device is the missing puzzle piece in an already great interrop solution.
    Imaging being able to use any video conferences room as Broadcast studio?

    I`m sure this would empower the Interrop soloution offer by Polycom, Pexip and BlueJeans a lot.

    Currently the only workaround is to use RTMP, but the workflow is to bad for the enduser.

  7. Automatic DND when presenting

    Automatically set status to Do Not Disturb/DND when presenting or sharing screen like on Skype. It's very inconvenient when banners for personal chat notifications come up during meetings, sometimes the content is not to be shared with others. If not that then allow for the option to not show actual text in the banner notifications.

    Status is automatically set to Presenting in Teams when screen sharing is started during a Teams meeting.

  9. Speed Dial for Teams IP Phones

    Currently the Teams IP Phones are not useable cause in order to dial a call you have to use the onscreen keyboard to search for a contact to see presence or to dial the call. Teams IP Phones need to be able to place certain contacts on a speed dial tab that will show certain contacts and their presence status on one screen. You should be able to glance at the speed dial tab to quickly see who in your team is online and dial them.

  10. Flashing Icon in task bar for unread messages

    Teams icon pinned in taskbar doesn't blink orange anymore when I receive new messages. I cannot find an option to turn this. Was this removed?

  12. Allow Teams Meeting Host to Toggle Meeting Entry Exit Tones Conference Bridge Settings

    As an O365 global admin there is no way to let my Teams users toggle these audio conferencing meeting preferences themselves.

    There is only a global setting in the Teams/Skype admin portal that lets me turn on/off these audio conference bridge settings for the entire tenant. My users need to be able to modify these settings like they could in Skype for business.

    If I was hosting a large Teams meeting and running a webinar you can see how disruptive entrance and exit tones would be as participants come and go. The problem is that I can't just disable them…

  13. Teams Presence should be 'real-time'.

    Having presence delays of up to 4 minutes makes presence largely useless. Having to resort back to typing 'are you free now' after calls, because I can't tell if they are still in the meeting, or have started another meeting or call. Or trying to call somebody and get rejected and a message saying "I'm in a call"

    The presence of Teams users has switched to a subscription based model that brings near real time updates! Most of the time we expect presence updates to be reflected in a matter of a few seconds. It’s true for all scenarios like user’s calendar update, the Teams app status, or what the user decides to set manually. Enjoy!

  14. "Reply all with IM" from an Outlook meeting is broken

    In an Outlook meeting, when I use the "Reply All with IM" option, with Teams set as my IM application, it opens a conversation with the owner of the meeting only.

  15. Integrate Presence in Outlook contacts from Teams

    Whenever Team is running the presence should show on the Outlook contacts. When composing emails and adding users, it should show the presence of Team. It currently works only for skype for business.

    Thank you for your feedback – Presence for Teams users is supported on Outlook/Office 2013+ and the latest Teams desktop build. Skype for Business is no longer required to be installed on the machine.

  16. Voicemail for Teams Calling & Call Queues

    We have some Auto Attendant and Call Queues set up, when the time is 'out of hours' and a call comes in or if all users are busy and unable to answer a call it should go to voicemail posting the message transcript and audio file in the Team / group linked to the call queue.

  17. Busy Options (Busy on Busy or Voicemail on Busy)

    Provide a functionalitiy similar to the one is SfB Server.

    There are two items tracked here:
    1) Busy on Busy - Incoming calls will be rejected with a busy signal if the user is busy.
    2) Voicemail on Busy - Incoming calls will be forwarded to voice mail if the user is busy.

  18. Import Shifts schedule from Excel/CSV

    Shifts already has export schedule in UI. It would be great to have a option to import schedule as well, so it could be prepared in a external (legacy) system and then easily imported using UI, without need to develop code for upcoming Graph API.
    This would also make possible to create a shift "template" that could be easily uploaded to new Shifts / groups.

  19. Add "What's happening today?" Status

    Skype for Business has a "What's happening today?" custom status under their name which users can write custom messages such as "Teleworking" or "At Lunch". Teams should have this also.

    I would really like the ability to choose which apps go in the sidebar. It just makes sense.
