  1. Hawaiian language support

We would like MS to support the Hawaiian language in Teams.

  2. Add better support for full room cameras

We use this camera in our conference room: https://www.owllabs.com/. It is designed to show a 360 degree view and also focus on the speaker(s). When Teams does its own resizing of the video, it often cuts off portions of the view from this camera. It would be nice to force teams to always show the full perspective from this camera (even if it is resized smaller). It would also be nice to set this as a "primary" camera in the meeting, so that it is not resized smaller.

  4. Allow the navigation bar, once edited to show different apps, to stay that way.

The navigation bar now allows users to change which apps appear at the bottom, and which will appear once the navigation bar is swiped up. Each time the app is closed, the navigation bar resets to the apps already chosen by Microsoft.

It's infuriating and no matter how many times it gets changed, it will change back to the original settings.

Shifts should already be a standard on the navigation bar. It makes it very difficult for new users to understand and they tend not to know how to access Shifts until it is too late as there is no…

Hello and thank you for your feedback. My name is Amir and I am a product manager in the Shifts team. I apologize for the bad experience and wanted to address your concerns below:
    1. Navigation bar resets: this should not happen and the configuration of your “app tray” should not change. Can you please report a problem and add a screenshot if possible?
    2. The admin of your company can create app policies that create the default view for your team on mobile and web. She/he can make sure that the Shifts app is pinned and visible for new users. More info can be found here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/teams-app-setup-policies
    3. Notification – We support basic Shifts notification (unless the user disabled them on her mobile phone) so I wanted to know what is the use case that you refer to exactly. Do you expect to see notification of a shift that…

  5. Provide audit trail for Planner task edits

Changes can be made to the characteristics of a task, e.g., description or due date, without any audit trail. It would be extremely helpful to know which user made changes and when.

  6. Barge, Whisper, Listen In

I found a similar request for Skype here (https://www.skypefeedback.com/forums/299913-generally-available/suggestions/8900035-monitoring-features-silent-monitor-whisper-bar). I haven't been able to find documentation on implementation of the following so wanted to throw it out there just in case.

    1) Whisper - Managers or supervisors can tell agents what to say (advice or answers) without customer hearing them.

    2) Barge In - Managers or other users can jump on a call without permission from the original user to help with a call (especially useful in call center situations).

    3) Listen - Managers or other users can listen in on a call, given they have the access…

  7. Integrate Delve Profiles in Teams

Make Delve Profiles (own Profile and that of others) available in Teams and include profile content in Teams-Search.

Delve Profiles are good fo showing skills and projects of our employees.

But the Profiles and there information are not accessible in Teams which breaks our usecase.

Microsoft Staffhub was far easier to maneuver, easier to shift trade and view your work colleagues calendar. Often my reminders or notifications are behind or do not appear. I am. Unable to view my colleagues calendars and the phone ap needs to significantly improve

Hi There – My name is Amir and I am a product manager in the Shifts team. I am sorry to hear about your experience and would love to learn more about your issues. You should be able to see your colleagues shifts (assuming they are published of course) via the calendar or the time clock icon when youclick on a specific shift. If that’s not the case can you please file a bug with more details? we need more information investigate the root cause. Same goes for notification that should work without any issues. Thank in advance. We will keep working hard performance and usability of the app.

  9. Assigning a non-member to a task in planner adds them to the Team

If you assign a person a task in planner who isn't a member of the team, they automatically get added to the team. There is a message which says non-member but I don't think this is clear enough.

There should be another warning/pop up telling the user that if they assign a task to someone not on the team they will get added to the team. This is a security concern!

  10. Allow for explicit Connector configuration (not possible in MS Teams because of O365 Groups drawbacks in this area

Allow for explicit Connector configuration (not possible in MS Teams because of O365 Groups drawbacks in this area)

Currently if you don't set Connetors in O365 Groups via powershell command to disabled you would have it fully open in O365 Groups.

The MS Teams app suffers from this drawback because you cannot allow Connectors. On the MS Teams admin console it looks like one could control Connectors, but if you get the deeper dependency to O365 Groups and that the Setting there is "oversteering" MS Teams, you see all granularity is not helping you with Connectors.

    On Enterprise Level this…

  11. Merge/consolidate channels

We changed the mind about the way we used some channels. We decided that some of the channels need to be merged. It would be nice to be able to do this without using history. We want history to be merged.

  12. Guests should be able to send files in private chats

Guest can send files/images inside channels but not inside private chats. Without that feature the communication with external developers or testers is almost not possible or had to be done inside a channel, which would disturb other team members.

  13. moving a document breaks link

When we are sorting out our filing system in files, creating new folders to move and tidy up our document's this changes the location of the document and breaks any links you have previously sent to users also the link in the conversations. This is extremely unworkable for our organisation, we need to be able to upload and move documents. keeping the integrity of any previous links sent. For example if you attach a document to a channel, this does not go into a folder it just sits in files, when links are sent round for this document they are…

  14. Invitation mail language is different against auto-detect language.

The language of the teams invitation email will depend on the language settings of the receiver.
However, users who use Teams in English often receive an invitation email in other language.
I think that language is selected a tenant account settings .
Because We use Teams in the language detected automatically from a browser or an OS, we want to send an invitation email in that language.

  15. Access to email from left tab panel

If there was an Outlook tab integrated on the left, similar to the Meetings tab (which is effectively the Outlook calendar), one could stay in Teams all day and not have to switch out.

Adding email as a left tab panel remains under review. We are working on adding several Teams and email integrations:

    - Share to Teams: Share a copy of an email and any attachments into a chat or channel directly from Outlook

    - Share to Outlook: Share a copy of a channel or chat conversation via email directly from Teams

    - Actionable Teams Activity Emails: Teams missed activity emails display the latest replies and allow you to reply directly from Outlook

See this post for more information:

    Thanks!

  16. Unread message count on Chat, Teams, channels

Right now there is a unread message count badge on the Activity tab icon (I guess you only get that if you have followed any channels?). However I would much rather prefer if the badge was on the Chat and Teams tab icons so I can see where there is activity. Currently collapsed teams are also indicated having activity. Expanded teams should have the same indication.

Furthermore, the unread activity badge on both the Activity and the application icon count unread channels. I would prefer a message count.

  17. Make "Follow this channel" the default setting.

Usual Microsoft lack of UI intuition.
Channels should be followed by default with the user unfollowing it if they wish.

  18. Custom Group Categories for Teams

As I create more and more teams, I need to be able to group or categorize them. It seems like the only native groupings are "favorites" or "more". I would like to be able to create other categories. Once I get over 30 teams, grouping them into detailed categories is going to be imperative to stay organized.

  20. Make "Teams" and "Chat" the same Tab

There is no reason that Teams and Chat should be different top level categories in the left navigation. They are the same thing, perform exactly the same function, and making two different items simply confuses the navigation and makes badge notifications and discoverability much more difficult to use.

Please combine Chats into the Teams tab so that you can browse all conversations in one place rather than needing to navigate to different tabs to see different conversations.

Chats and channels perform essentially the same function, which is talk to some people and collaborate. Forcing the user to check two different…
