Teams Meeting organizer can force mute audio for attendees
Give meeting organizers the ability to force mute audio for all attendees in the meeting options page. Attendees should not be able to un-mute their audio with this option set.
3,944 votesWe have launched the ability for a presenter to ‘hard mute’ attendees. This feature gives meeting organizers the ability to mute one to many meeting participants while removing the muted participants’ ability to unmute themselves. Load picture as background instead of blur background in Teams video chat
How about loading a picture as a defined background instead of just blur the background during a Teams video chat?
So, for example, I could load an all black picture as the default background to keep the focus on me.
3,308 votesWe are happy to announce that we have released user initiated custom video background images. For more details, please see the link below.

About Include System audio in live events
Even in live events, the Include System audio feature should be implemented when sharing windows.
1,325 votesJust like in a regular Teams meetings, you can now include your system audio when presenting in a live event. Currently, this feature is only available for presenters and producers joining from the Teams desktop app for Windows.

Introduce breakout room functionality
We have a business requirement for breakout rooms with live events. The idea is pretty simple - we plan to use live events to host internal staff training webinars and as part of that, at times we will ask for small groups of people (typically 4-5) to go away into a breakout room and come back to the group with their answer/idea.
We would like to see this functionality be introduced to Microsoft Teams for not only live events but also video calls. This would provide feature parity with pre-existing tools such as Zoom, WebEx and many more which would…

Change default meeting options
The default meeting options are not adjustable at this time. By default, the meeting options are set so that no one has to wait in the lobby and everyone has the presenter role by default. For each meeting, the meeting owner must manually adjust it. There is currently no option to adjust the standard. This is not pleasant for an education tenant.
Make sure that it is possible to adjust the default meeting options.
p.s. this is / was possible in Skype
205 votesWe’re happy to announce admins are able to change the default value of ‘Who can present?’ in Meeting Options via the new parameter, DesignatedPresenterRoleMode. For more information, please visit: https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoftteams/meeting-policies-in-teams or https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoftteams/policy-packages-edu
In addition there is a new default Teams meeting policy to enforce lobby in meetings for tenants who have not modified the default meetings policy. With this change, meeting organizers can define/fine-tune the lobby experience via the Meeting options feature. For information on meeting options, please see: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/change-participant-settings-for-a-teams-meeting-53261366-dbd5-45f9-aae9-a70e6354f88e

Additional Together mode templates
I'd love the ability to add further Together mode layout templates.
Maybe you could add your own buildings auditorium.
Muppet Mode would add some fun to Friday gatherings.

Offer a native Windows on ARM (ARM64) version.
It'd be great if Teams had an ARM64 native client for Windows on ARM. I just got a Surface Pro X and while Teams works fine as a 32bit x86 app in emulation, I have no doubt it'd really shine as a native ARM64 app.
261 votesWe have launched the new native ARM64 Teams app for Windows 10 on ARM. You can download the app from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/download-app.
There is no action required for devices that are currently running the 32-bit version under emulation on Windows ARM as they will be automatically updated to the native version of Microsoft Teams.

Invite external users (guests) during MS Teams meeting
Currently, organizers can only invite organization-affiliated members to join the meeting while the meeting is running. For external users, you have to copy the meeting link, paste it into an email and send it. This is very inconvenient. It would be good to permit (like you can in the invite to the meeting) simply type the email addresses of extenal users while being in a meeting to also invite them.
638 votesGreat news! You can now add guests to a Teams Meeting before the meeting starts and during a meeting. For more information, please visit https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoftteams/manage-external-access.

Users added to team line removed
In each general channel a new line gets created for all new users added to a team. Can this line be removed?
As an example I setup a team and get some posts ready for welcome messages and introductions, then when I add groups of people, after a few lines all my messages have pushed up and off the screen.
We have one specific team for all in the business and all the threads are getting lost as we add each department/individuals one by one.5,176 votesThank you for your feedback! To improve the message pane in General channels, we have moved system messages to our info pane. Polls and Forms in Meetings
There have been several members on the Tech Community who have asked to have forms and polls in meetings. Currently can have notes, whiteboard, files etc. Snap polls were a part of SfB but having Microsoft Forms and Polls (whether via Polly or a native app) would be an improvement and a much more interactive meeting! Best, Chris

Add a "Raise Your Hand" feature in meetings
When in a meeting with multiple people it would be nice to have a way to signal that you would like to speak so that you can be called upon by the meeting organizer.
This would allow users to show they have something to say, but they do not want to interrupt
