Default switched on versioning on Microsoft Lists in Microsoft Teams
I suggest that versioning should be switched on by default for Lists as most end users don't know the SharePoint back end and won't think of switching it on.

Allow links to be longer than 255 characters in Lists
When adding a link to an lists entry, it cannot be longer than 255 characters. Which means that OneNote links cannot be added as they are (often) longer.

Allow the option of moving rows up or down on Lists. You can move columns, but you should be able to adjust the order of the rows

SharePoint list search from a tab
When you add a SharePoint list as a tab, there is no way to search the list. Makes long lists unusable. I have many SharePoint lists that I could add a tabs for my users, but lack of a search feature is keeping me from being able to do this.

Is there any chance that you could add a "Checklist" (similar to that used in Planner) as a column option in Lists?
Hi, the Lists App is awesome. To make it more awesome, is there any chance you could add "Checklist" as a column option, so that for any particular item in the list, a checklist can be built.

Microsoft Lists - notification for task assigned to person
Is there a way to get Microsoft Lists to send a notification to a person whom was assigned a task. The only thing I have found at the moment is an alert to one or a series of people. However, I would like the alert to go to the person assigned to the task.

Allow personal lists
The new lists app is great but i'd like to be able to have personal lists as well, perhaps as an item on the left hand side alongside calendar etc.
I'd like to be able to use the lists feature to maintain my own todo lists that are separate from a channels or teams lists
As an extension of this, the personal lists view could also provide easy access to lists in channels that you are a member of?

User-voice template for Microsoft Lists
It'd be great to have a uservoice template available on Microsoft Lists.
It seems to me like an obvious and very convenient usage case similar to the existing "bug-tracker" (Issue tracker).
Not everyone can build a website like this one, and not everyone wants to use external services for such thing.

Choose your preferred view when adding an existing List to a Teams Channel
When I add an existing List as a Tab to my Teams Channel it can only show the default View. However there are lots of scenario's where my Collegues and I use Lists that contain multiple Views.
I've already tried entering the full URL that includes my custom View, but Lists will then also just show the standard 'All items' View in Teams.
It would be a great feature when people can select which View needs to be shown by default when they add an existing List to a Teams Channel.

Calendar view in Lists within Teams.
The "Create New View" option shows up in Lists on web, but not when viewing the list in SharePoint or Teams. Once created, the calendar itself can be viewed in Lists and SharePoint, but not in Teams (it shows as a list...not a calendar in Teams). I made a "website" tab in our Teams channel as a workaround that allows us to view the calendar, but if you click on a calendar entry the details view then shows the SharePoint comments instead of our Teams comments about that entry. That's unfortunate. Hoping Lists in Teams gets updated so it can…

Add "Comments" for Lists
Add the "Comments" functionality to Teams that is available when using the web service Lists and SharePoint Lists.
Currently in Teams you can use "Conversation" when you have a list item open, but when you send the message, Teams posts the message to the "Channel Posts".
The bummer about this current functionality is lots of the time we are just trying to comments/notes where we do not need these to post to the Channel thread

Use the most popular apps on the lineup
I see a bunch of useless apps that don't matter to me. And when I need to open Word for example I have to leave Teams and go to the Hub. Just add OneNote, Word, and PowerPoint to the list, as well as Excel and more popular ones

Microsoft Lists - Enable importing data in bulk to an existing lists and setting up format for future bulk imports
One should be able to add data in bulk to an existing list from an identical list edited on a separate tool.
Also, the import from excel is extremely primitive: dates are not even recognised as such but as numbers.
The idea behind this bulk import would be that, data is imported in bulk to an existing list as formatted on the app. For instance, when a column is formatted as 'choice', Lists should recognise the different choices (and even add new ones) and add the data from the file used for importing in bulk but as formatted on the…
