  1. Audio Device Settings

    Hello, I really stuggle to toggle between audio devices using teams as it doesn't seem to automatically use the audio device chosen on the PC and I can't seem to be able to change this directly from teams.

  2. Speed Dial for Teams IP Phones

    Currently the Teams IP Phones are not useable cause in order to dial a call you have to use the onscreen keyboard to search for a contact to see presence or to dial the call. Teams IP Phones need to be able to place certain contacts on a speed dial tab that will show certain contacts and their presence status on one screen. You should be able to glance at the speed dial tab to quickly see who in your team is online and dial them.

  3. Pull up Teams Contacts from Desk Phone

    We can see that new MS Teams accounts are now able to pull up / sync contacts from Outlook. What we would like to have is a feature on (Android powered with MS Teams app installed) Desk Phones that will be able to pull up MS Teams contacts so that the contact information will show when a contact calls in.

    We believe that this feature addition should be done on Microsoft's side, specifically for Desk Phones running on Android. However, we can see that this feature is not yet available even for Teams mobile (both on Android and iOS) and…

  4. save phone number for meeting to call me

    in skype i have the option to list my most common numbers for meeting to call me. i now have to type in the phone number everytime.

  6. Let incoming calls ring on both head set and speakers

    I keep missing calls because it is uncomfortable to wear the head set 8 + hrs a day and I want the privacy of talking over a head set.. So why not allow incoming calls to also ring on the computer speakers when the head set is plugged in? This would allow me to not have to wear the head set all the time and not miss any calls!

    We need BToE support with our Polycom deskphones. Without it, we will have to always run Skype for Business side by side to sign in our users to the phones.

  8. Access to personal outlook contacts from IP Phone (Yealink T55A, T56A, T58A)

    When using an IP Phone like Yealink T55A, T56A or T58A teams edition you are able to access your global address book but you can't access your personal contact from outlook.

  9. TEAMS Contacts and Favs with IP Phones

    TEAMS Contacts and Favorites need to be able to import into Polycom phones like they do with SfB.

    You are pushing us towards Teams only, so we need a solution!

  10. Enable CNAM (Calling Party Name) in Canada.

    Right now our users only see incoming phone numbers, we would like to see the Calling Party Name.

  11. Is it possible to write an C# desktop CTI adapter that observes incoming/outgoing calls over Teams and also starts them?

    Goal: Connect Existing .NET desktop CTI client with a running instance of Microsoft Teams

    Is it possible with Teams SDK:
    • to observe incoming PSTN calls that go trough Teams client?
    • to accept or deny the incoming PSTN call?
    • to observe the call status of the PSTN call (offering, connected, disconnected)?
    • to initiate a new phone call with the PSTN number?

  12. Extend the support for 3PIP phones to 2025 or later!

    Extend the support for 3PIP phones to 2025 or later! Anyone that just invested in Teams VoIP with 3PIP phones recently will only get about 4 years out of the investment. This is a big hit to any company that runs on the thrift IT model (small orgs, governments, etc.)

  13. Configure Voicemail on IP Handsets

    Enable users to access the voicemail options on IP handsets (such as the AudioCodes C450HD) or on the Android App that are available in the PC Software. Change Voicemail greeting, Forward calls, Also ring, ring duration, etc.

  14. Place calls by Clicking Phone Numbers

    Skype PE was always integrated with windows whenever there is a phone number in any website or even in Outlook contacts, I can click the number and system will pop up a message to call using Skype PE.

  15. Support for expansion modules / sidecars on desk phones

    I noticed that a few phone manufacturers now support Teams on desk phones - such as the Yealink T56A, what it doesn't support is the expansion modules that are extremely useful for receptionist. Skype for Business supported the Yealink T48G and the EXP40 expansion module. The T56A supports the EXP50 module but Teams doesn't support the module, only the desk phone itself.

  16. 5-7 second delay before calling end can hear when picking up call with Polycom phone

    When a call comes in from the Auto Attendant / Call Queue and the call is picked up on a Polycom phone there is a 5-7 second delay before the calling end can hear audio. This delay is pretty long and causes confusion, it should be 2 seconds at the most.

  17. Phone number history displayed in Call answering rules Setting

    The phone number history displayed in Call answering rules Setting should be implemented by the user or administrator.

    It is also useful to have a function to control the display so that it is not displayed.

  18. Use Contacts For Inbound Calls

    Use the contact list to look up callers name and company based on the caller ID. Ideally this could also use the global address book from Exchange but would be fine to just use the local contacts.

    Also, when creating a contact associate the call history with the contact so the call history list shows name and company rather than just number.

  20. call queues - Prompt to accept queue call.

    As an Admin you should be able to disable the confirm accept call prompt for queue calls. Let me provide an example so that the request is clear:
    Customer calls call queue
    Call queue rings user
    User answers the phone
    Teams then ask the user to press one to accept the call.

    That is the prompt that as a Teams Admin (Voice Admin), however, the rights get setup, you should be able to disable.
