  1. Incorporate Dante audio

The integration of Dante enabled audio for Teams Rooms will provide network integration of large room audio systems. This will ease incorporation with existing facilities as well as facilitate new installations.

  2. Unable to show users fullscreen (gallery view on Skype) on Skype Room System

We currently use a Lenovo ThinkHub as our Skype Room System. We are a mixed enviornment (skype and teams). Currently when having a Skype meeting there are 3 layout options. Teams only has 2 of the 3. The one that is missing is one that is highly used, the gallery option. This layout allows participants to have a larger picture in the meeting and focuses on the person who is actively talking. Teams does not have this option. This feels like a big step back for our users and will be seen as a negative as we begin our transition…

  3. Skype Room System windows 10 virtual keyboard

At random, on any SRS updated to windows 10, when we try inviting a participant, the virtual keyboard does not become visible.
Although we reselect the field, the keyboard still does not appear.

The next day or later in the day or after a reboot, the keyboard on the same device is visible
    Please attached video and logs
Any idea what is causing this and how we can resolve it ?

  4. When using Crestron, the 60 second timeout for the room control interface is counter-intuitive in some situations.

The Cresron UC Flex product with Microsoft Skype and Teams provides the programmer a custom interface for room controls. In certain situations such as larger conference rooms and divisible spaces where the custom control interface needs to be the primary control interface for users and the Skype/Teams interface called up when needed. This would allow the Crestron UC Flex system to be utilized in more environment, driving more sales (both Crestron and Microsoft).
My suggestion is to provide an option for the Custom Room controls timeout to be set to longer times (5 mins, 10 mins, 30 mins, etc.) as…

  5. Teams Rooms running on a Raspberry Pi 4

Like a cut-down Surface Hub just for Teams and very economic for small businesses and businesses with lots of meeting rooms. For meeting rooms that have an existing TV in the room which people usually plug in an HDMI cable, just hide a Raspberry Pi behind the TV running Windows 10 and Teams Rooms.

  6. CEC Support for Room systems

Display power and input control is essential for a consistent and high-quality user experience. Currently, the only way to deliver this experience is with external workspace control hardware, or an enterprise grade display at a high price point. Someone needs to address this and integrate CEC hardware into the MTR itself. Forcing users to purchase new enterprise displays will significantly hinder a large scale roll-out.

  7. Support for more than 1 USB camera

SRSv2, according to documentation, supported up to 2 USB cameras with switching using the video icon. I would like this feature also in the new Teams Room Systems.

  8. Teams room single television widgets and notifications

It would be great if the display at the front of the room could be configured to show the calendar like the crestron mercury in the flex system. I think additional widgets for company broadcast, instructions, up next, timer countdown, and other things would add incredible flexibility for various room system configurations.

  9. Skype room system dual monitor

Please add dual monitor output support for Teams app on SRS. Currently, it is enabled for Skype, but not the Teams app.

    Thanks!

  10. Crestron AirMedia

We recently purchased the teams room system that includes the Crestron Mercury and having used Crestron previously we had high expectations. However we were rather underwhelmed to find that AirMedia, the second Ethernet port and hdmi in don’t work when the firmware is upgraded to the custom teams room firmware. We really must have these options so that teams room can meet the full use case for all of our conference rooms.

  11. SRS 4.0.105.0 - Theme with Gray Background

4.0.105.0 Imposed a gray background that overwrote our own custom theme. Make that a manageable option rather than forcing that.

  12. Single screen content layout change with HDMI video input

When not in a call, the video input coming from a HDMI to USB video input box toggles on and off as it should, when you select 'present' the video shows, when you turn it off the video goes away.

When in a call and video is present on the content input, you cannot hide the presentation video at all, even if you choose not to be sending it over the teams meeting. Please make the default meeting layout to always be the local camera and or remote participants unless the user chooses to send the HDMI input video as…

  13. Teams Room unmute functionality

It is possible to mute all participants in a meeting from a Teams Room Device, but there is no functionality to unmute them all together or even unmute some participants individually.

Both these features would be useful.

  14. It must work better with multiple companies!!

Jumping between different companies dows not work: constantly get error messages for file access and chat links from email do not work. Really annoying for consultants with multiple customers and service providers with multiple customers

  15. Teams: Conference room sign mode

Could you enable a Conference room sign mode which when logged in as a "Meeting Room" just displays the time, upcoming meetings and whether the room is currently free or not? It could also allow users to book rooms from the app itself. It could then be run on an ipad/android device stuck to the wall.

  16. Allow event hosts to designate speakers

For Large Events/Meetings with massive audiences where only certain people should be unmuted, allowing a mute all upon entry setting would be useful.

  17. Refresh wifi connection when starting or joining a MS Teams meeting

At my company, many MS Teams' meeting organizers walk from other parts of the campus to a conference room. When they then start the Teams mtg, they are connected to the Access Point close to their desk; so, when they start the mtg in a distant conf room, the wifi connection is weak. Often there's a Access Point in/near the conf room, but they don't disconnect/reconnect to take advantage of the stronger wifi. As a result, the meetings are unable to launch or the poor performance causes the meeting to suffer/fail. If when you enter a Teams mtg, it auto…

  18. Allow 'wallpaper' to be disabled in MS Display Adapters

OK, not strictly a Room System issue, but we have needed to revert to using Barco ClickShare in our rooms for a wireless display capability because with ClickShare you can disable the 'wallpaper' so that a signal is only ever present when a device connects - this means our HDMI switchers can auto-switch between active/inactive signals correctly. We are unable to use our preferred option of MS Display Adapters because these constantly output a signal rendering auto-switching impossible. Perhaps you could have a word with your colleagues about this? Thanks

  19. Allow auto-presentation of HDMI input to be disabled

Some of our rooms have permanent in-room PCs connected via an HDMI splitter to a dedicated display and the HDMI input of a Logitech Smartdock which is in-turn connected to a separate front-of-room display. It is extremely frustrating when the PC content is automatically presented into the room system every time the signal changes state (e.g. restarting the PC, signing out, waking from sleep). I assume the decision was made for any newly detected input signal to be automatically presented, so it shouldn't be very difficult at all to add a new feature toggle to disable auto-presentation of an HDMI…

  20. 1 click join for various Video systems

We need the ability to accept meetings from external companies that use Zoom, WebEx, RingCentral, and whatever other flavor the week has to offer. When we get a calendar invite and want to use it with a room we will fwd the invite to the room which contains all of the connection info. The room accepts but when you try to join it says "This isn't a Teams or Skype meeting" Teams Rooms should be able to recognize a phone number or sip address or IP address inside the body of email and connect.

It seems that there are apps…
