  1. Teams for IT Admins & IT Support Roles

    Microsoft Teams desperately needs basic remote support features so IT departments can support their staff via Teams. The below additions would drastically help IT departments support their remote staff.


    • Microsoft needs to create a "Tech Support" admin role with the following additional capabilities IT departments could use to support end users within their Office 365 tenant:

  3. Admin Controlled contact group available to all Teams users

    Administrator 's ability to create a domain wide or tenant wide groups of contacts for example per department that is available to all Teams users like a company directory. Same as in other corporate messaging wherein any changes in the contact will be synced to all clients.

  4. Assign policy to groups

    With the new admin portal you can only assign messaging policy to individual users. Why is this happening when the previous admin portal let us set different options to for example Faculty, Students etc? It's near impossible to manage per-user Teams settings for several thousand students who come and go. We need to be able to let group membership control these settings in Teams.

  5. On the "PTSN and SMS Usage Report" .csv, display transferred calls and the Call Queue

    The current "PTSN and SMS Usage Report" csv export does not include any detail on transferred calls. Our business is setup where all inbound PTSN phone calls go to our main line which is answered by one of several receptionist users in a call queue. They then transfer the call to the user who the caller requests. When the receptionist transfers the call, the report doesn't show this information.

    For example, in the attached image, the Caller ID number called our main line and spoke with reception for 36 seconds. Then the call was transferred to the end user who…

  6. Change the inappropriate message post and audit logs when disabling AAD sync for a certain user

    If a user has been disabled for AAD sync from on-prem AD, the user will get deleted from O365 and removed from the team that h/she was belonged to. In this scenario, the message saying that the user has been removed by the team owner will be posted in the team. I think this message is inappropriate because the owner hasn’t actually removed the user. Also, this incorrect information is logged in O365 audit log as well.   9. Reports for Teams meetings

    I would like to be able to run reports on the usage of Teams meetings to gather information about:
    - The number of Teams meetings (planned and instant)
    - The number of attendees per meeting
    - usage of video, voice
    - use of stream recording

  10. Disable exit notifications for channels

    We need the ability to disable exit notifications on a teams channels. For example when a user is terminated and we remove their license we don't want a notification going out to everyone that the user has been removed from the team. For HR reasons we want to communicate a persons termination through email, rather than have people get immediate notifications before we have the chance to communicate clearly with our team. Having the option to turn this post off would be ideal.

  12. More granular admin RBAC

    Right now there are four Teams admin roles available.
    It would be great if there was an option to create customized admin roles via PowerShell with a specific user scope. This would allow a customized admin group/role.

    E.g. for a medium to large orgs sometimes certain user settings should be manageable at a branch site by a branch site admin or a certain manager. However, the customized branch site admin must not manage and not see other users which are out of his/her admin scope.

    It would be very nice and helpful to have a cmdlet to create customized admin…

  16. Conference Audio / Video Minutes Report

    Promoting use of Microsoft Teams.
    Therefore, I want to extract the frequency of using Teams.

    In Skype for Business, the activity report calculates the meeting participation time.
    This item.

    ・ Organized Conference Audio / Video Minutes
    ・ Participated Conference Audio / Video Minutes

    In Microsoft Teams, you can see how many meetings have been held and attended.
    You can check for each user.
    However, the time is not calculated in the list.

    This does not give you any insight into how Microsoft Teams is being used.
    We hope that reports will be enhanced to promote the use of Microsoft Teams.

  17. Teams usage report

    I would like to get the Teams usage report with PowerShell. The usage report is currently only available in Teams admin center.
    Also, I would like to get the report by specifying the start date and the end date. Currently, it is only available with Last 7 days or Last 28 days.
    It will be more convenient if you could implement those features.

  18. Do not auto-generate Teams shortcut in the desktop

    If you install Office 365 ProPlus with Teams desktop app, the shortcut of Teams is automatically generated in the desktop after you login to the O365 service.

    I would like you to make improve this behavior to stop auto-creation of Teams shortcut icon.

    Microsoft Teams 管理センターの [使用状況レポート] で、チームなどのアクティビティをログとして出力が戒能であるが、出力可能な最大値は 90 日までとなります。

    90 日では、アクティビティを十分に確認できないため、180 日、360 日といった長期的にログが出力できる機能の実装を希望します。​
    It is possible to output activity such as teams as a log in [Usage Report] of the Microsoft Teams Administration Center, but the maximum output period is 90 days.

    Since 90 days is not sufficient for confirming activities, we hope a feature will be implemented to output logs for a long time such as 180 or 360 days.
