Raising this again as Microsoft closed the previous request, saying it was complete even though it was not. (link below)
Teams should install to the program files directory, not the users AppData.
And NO, the answer is not to put a copy of the MSI in Pogram Files and deploy to the users AppData when they login.386 votes

When we create an Org-Wide team it adds every "user" account in our entire Active Directory into the team. Thsi includes service accounts, exchange heal mailboxes, and all kinds of things that aren't actual people. There needs to be an option so that we can choose to only invite actual users. If it can point to an OU, we can specify our "employees" out to rule out all the non-users. If it's limited to AD Online, then it could only add people who have an actual Office 365 license attached to their account. Every time we create a service account, it gets added to the team and we have to go remove it which makes the General channel useless since it's full of spam.

As we have in SharePoints with "site use", it would be great to have measurable information about each team that I'm using or that I'm the owner of. This would help community managers / owners to gather information on their way to encourage adoption and the uses of teams in their respective workgroups.

In Skype for Business we were able to prevent users from uploading pictures for their avatar. This was done from a PowerShell script that modified the OWA policy. We should have the same option with Teams. Hopefully in UI instead of PS.730 votes

For Microsoft Teams chat, when you add a new member into group chat which has three or more members, the new member can view the history chat. However, when you add other person into the existed one on one private chat, the newest member cannot view the chat history.
I would strongly request that a private chat to show the Conversation history to the newest member.10 votes
With the new admin portal you can only assign messaging policy to individual users. Why is this happening when the previous admin portal let us set different options to for example Faculty, Students etc? It's near impossible to manage per-user Teams settings for several thousand students who come and go. We need to be able to let group membership control these settings in Teams.8 votes

Microsoft Teams also should allow administrators to control "public connectivity to free Microsoft Teams" on the admin portal.

We would like to have the possibility to set notification options at the Teams Channel level, so:
1. Teams App - who gets notified (whole team, with exception) or (only certain members)
2. Teams App notification allowed times or quiet times for all users on the whole channel (with exceptions for always notifications)
3. Teams App notification types for the whole channel (Pop-up, vibrate, email or all)
4. Consistent and immediate Teams App notifications.
Some times Teams app notifcations are not immediate and take many hours to appear.
