  1. Backwards Compatabile with ios 9.3.5

I have an old iPad and looking to turn it into an office comunication device.

Can the teams app be made available for older devices - albeit perhaps a cut down version?

  2. Make use of Mac Touch Bar for mute/unmute and other meeting actions

Teams should allow the use of the Mac Touch Bar to do functions such as mute/unmute, leave meeting, show participants and so forth.

  3. Mac Teams Helper: Takes up too much CPU and makes app almost unusable

I can't use teams with out it lagging severely. When I go and look at the processes running, It always looks like the 'helper' is taking up crazy amounts of CPU and it lags out the application to the point of it almost being unusable.

I've tried closing the application, rebooting, re-installing, checking for updates, etc.. nothing works.

    I'm on macOS Mojave 10.14.2

  4. macOS notification center

It would be extremely helpful if Microsoft Teams would integrate with macOS Catalina's Notification Center. Currently, Teams only provides a small pop up notification and if you are using 2 or more displays, you can easily miss these notifications.

  5. Allow AirPods to mute/un-mute the audio

AirPods allow you to start/stop audio by clicking on the base of the airpod. It would be nice for Teams to consume this signal and allow the audio to be muted/un-muted.

  9. macOS: Synchronize Teams status with native Do Not Disturb status

If my Teams status is Do Not Disturb then that should toggle my macOS Do Not Disturb. Therefore, when I'm presenting my screen and Teams automatically change my status to Presenting/Do Not Disturb then all of my notifications are suppressed.

This corresponds with the request to move Teams notifications into the native macOS notifications to further integrate with Mac's Do Not Disturb features:

  10. Teams integration with MacOS

MacOS Teams seems to work very well.

But, from a users' experience point of view, it leaves something to be desired. Its alerts and text inputting are different from most other Mac applications making it, at best, inconsistent.

It would be even better if it integrated with MacOS' notification infrastructure so that alerts don't collide, they act according to a user's desired location, persistance, timing, etc., and don't get buried by other things.

The same comment for text entry (chats, etc.). Please use and leverage the MacOS text input infrastructure so that the experience (spell checking, corrections, etc.) are consistent…

  11. Please let non-administrator mac OS users install MS Teams client app without administrator access.

Installing MS Teams app doesn't let users into their non-admin user account in mac OS Mojave v10.14.6 in a shared 2012 13.3" MacBook Pro. It lets them install for all accounts, but that requires administrator account. This is for a client who is an invited guest for others' online real-time meetings in Firefox web browser. Zoom and others let him do this nicely. Why can't MS Team do the same?

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

  12. iPad share

when doing MS team Meeting with the iMac or macbook, the participant would be able to share screen of the apps on their iPad or even use the whiteboard function on the iPad.
the current MS teams on mac or even windows platform does not allow for such function.
it's either we start our MS team meeting on an iPad to show the apps.. OR use the MS teams on the mac but limited to the share function it's integrated with.

  13. Screen share: share different desktops/applications

On the Mac we can have multiple desktops. Please can we be able to choose which one of these we can share.

Also please can we be able to choose any window/application to share like on Windows. Currently only files in the chat can be shared.

  14. Camera settings to control properties like brightness, contrast and gamma

Due to different ambient light situations, it would be great to control the camera in terms of common properties like brightness, contrast and gamma to improve image quality

  15. It causes very high heat and constant fan churn and noise on my mac. Really annoying. iPhone seems to be ok

There is this process called teams helper on Mac that really eats up about 50% of the CPU, causes overheating, battery drain and not to mention annoying fan sound. I have heard about the same problem from
Other Mac users as well. Extremely annoying. If this is not fixed, I will ask our IT team to change to some other app.

  17. Add support for Keynote presentations

When presenting from Keynote via sharing your Keynote window you see the slide thumbnails and formatting options like you're looking at the presenter's screen instead of what is being presented. You cannot see this on the Mac that is sharing. Only on the Teams sharing screen.

  18. There's no option to mute only Teams audio without turning off your actual audio on MacOS!!

It's crazy that there isn't an option to turn off meeting audio and listen to other audio from other websites while in a meeting... All audio options make me mute the device's volume. There's an option for this on iPad, but no option on macOS. Please help soon. I want to be able to toggle meeting audio on/off.

  19. support for sharing MacOS full screen apps in other Spaces (virtual screens/desktops)

Most Mac users work with fullscreen apps when they are serious to focus on something. A full screen app gets it's own Space. When using MS With Teams functionality as is, you can only share non-fullscreen windows that are on the first Space (Desktop 1) or share all of Desktop 1. When I work with MS Teams, I have to fiddle with my windows to make it work. Sometimes, I'll have the window shared, but then click to make it full screen which drops it from the share. In either case this cases meeting delays.

    Instead I'd like to share…

  20. Easily switch between tenancies in Teams for Mac

Please allow easy switch between tenancies on Teams for Mac.

At the moment, I need to log out of my work Teams account, then log back in using my college Teams account.
(On iPhone and iPad, is it easy to seamlessly switch between accounts, but on Mac it does not exist)
