  1. Be able to move people's videos to top instead of bottom of screen (when someone is screen sharing a presentation)

When in a group meeting, everyone's video screen appears at the bottom when someone is presenting their screen. It would be nice to be able to drag it to the top of the window instead. That's also where the webcam usually sits so it's better to be looking more directly into the camera (instead of halfway down the screen)

  2. Disable screen capture

Prohibit attendees from taking print screens / screen grabs of what is being presented in Microsoft Teams (similar to how you can't take a screen shot of a rights protected email - the screen goes black).

  3. Don't let Ctrl-Arrow Wrap Around in a Text Field

When you're using the ctrl and arrow keys to jump through text, and you go all the way to the beginning of the text, and go one more left arrow key more, the cursor will jump from the first word in a post to the end. However, it won't let you go back in the other direction (i.e. from the last word back to the first). I often use ctrl-left arrow to jump quickly through the words in a message without removing my fingers from the keyboard to the mouse, but now if I go too far, I'm now stuck…

  4. I just want a single view where I can see the stuff I haven't read yet

don't take this the wrong way, but I came from slack and their view for productivity reasons is much better. stuff I haven't read appears, If I always want to see it, I pin it. Having to switch from channel view to chat view makes me miss stuff. you may suggest the activity stream, but I want to choose what to read now or wait till I grab my beer at the end of the day. I have been staving off my team of 50 for the last month, but I agree with them that the usability here is difficult

  5. Allow the speaker/host to be displayed (video) while sharing the screen.

Zoom allows the speaker to be displayed while screen sharing his/her screen. Want to have the ability to resize the shared screen AND the speaker's video window. It's important for American Sign Language signers. Once screen-shared, the speaker just collapsed into audio version/window. There should be an elegant way to preserve the speaker's video window and shared screen window at the same Teams interface window.

  6. Revert Dark Mode back to its previous state

The recently updated Dark Mode has too much black/dark gray, and not enough differentiation between the shades of gray used.

Especially on laptop screens, its now harder to differentiate between the different elements of the UI, essentially making it feel cluttered.

Before the recent update, Dark Mode was perfect. There were slightly lighter shades of gray and more of the classic "Teams purple" elements. Both of these made the UI feel organized and easy to work with. Now, Teams feels like one black screen with random white text scattered around.

  7. When in a teams meeting - I would like to see both participants and chat at the same time

When in a teams meeting - I would like to see both participants and chat at the same time. Right now - its one or the other. in Skype for Business meetings - that was not the case, we could see chat and participants in one view

  8. possibility to open teams on Multiple windows (especially when using multiple screens)

    Hi team,

As a Ms teams professional user (especially if using multiple screens), i'd like to have the possibility to open different features on different windows so i can multitask simple way using the ALT+TAB feature for example.

    Ex:
    1. Chatting with a colleague and need to copy/past an information from another chat without losing the focus on the conversation
    2. i am on a meeting, and i want to let it open on a different screen and open a chat (or simply the calendar view to see next meetings)
    3... etc etc...

  9. Chat / Contacts List Dropdown menu

I had found the Contacts View, ... then you went and changed it to hide the word Contacts under a Drop down menu that says Chat... Took me 10 minutes to realize you didnt take away the Contacts List, but rather just hid it with non-intuitive UI. revert back to how you had them side by side before... or make Contacts it's own Tab... you should be able to POP OUT Contacts & Chats , to make it look like a small Skype window for people who liked it like that.

  10. Move meeting attendee pictures/videos to the top of the UI

Because most cameras are located at the top of a laptop screen or a webcam sitting on top of a monitor, by moving the attendee pictures/videos to the top, your line of sight is closer to looking in the camera than when you are looking down at the bottom of the screen, giving a more natural appearance to the interaction.

  11. Remember pop-out meeting/call window size and position between meetings

Every time I join a meeting (using the new experience), the meeting window opens in pretty much the center of my screen and is almost the full size of my screen. Then, every time, I move the window to the top-right of my screen and reduce its size to the minimum allowed, so I can keep the mute and end call buttons easily accessible while I do other work and so it doesn't take up as much of my screen when it is in the foreground.

It would be nice if the meeting window position and size were remembered between…

  12. Additional Streaming Layouts for Team Live Events

currently you can choose between two streaming layouts (e.g. full screen or screen beside cam).
There would be so many cool other layout options to improve live events e.g.:
    - Two speaker side by side (split screen)
    - presentation on the left but two speaker on the right
    - 4 speaker on screen
    - large cam, small screen sharing content

Whatever the ideas are endless, but currently this is really limiting some streaming experience, for example if you have two speakers debating something I want to show both, but I can't.

  13. Improve reply to channel and reply to thread usability

People accidentally reply to channel when they should be replying to a thread. This makes the channel a mess. Improve the usability aspect of this making it more intuitive to reply to the thread one is reading right now!

  14. Badge display in a new org's switching UI

    *English follows Japanese

    ■Title(件名):
    新しい組織の切り替え UI のバッジ表示について
Badge display in a new org's switching UI

    ■Description(内容):
    現在、別の組織に参加している場合、新着情報があった場合は組織名の横にバッジが表示されますが、新しい組織の切り替えの UI では新着情報があってもバッジが表示されず不便なため、新しい組織の切り替えの UI でも新着情報のバッジが表示される機能の拡充を要望します。

Currently, a participant in another org can see a badge displayed next to their org name when they get a new info. But this badge does not appear in a new org's switching UI. This is inconvenient so please fix it so that this shows in a new org's switching UI as well.

  15. Move the "Share Content" button away from the "Leave" button

In the new meeting experience, is it possible to move the "Share Content" button further from the "Leave" button? Or to place a section-break in between? We only just updated this week and I've heard at least 4 stories of users going to share their screen but being a bit too quick with the mouse and clicking "Leave" by mistake.

  16. Combine multiple threads - or at least improve the UI

People who are new to Teams almost reliably start new conversations instead of adding to threads. In other words, the context goes missing - which is one of the key elements that make Teams so powerful.

Multiple requests to combine threads have been declined here. I can only imagine that technical reasons are the source of the declines, because many people and organizations are dealing with this issue.

Therefore I'm repeating the request - and if the decision "at this point" is still the same, then please put some effort into the UI to make it clear (!!!) to people…

  17. Disable separate window for meetings/calls

It appears there is no longer the option to take calls/meetings in the main window. They always pop out into a new window. This is a major step backward.

I want Teams to occupy the smallest possible amount of screen, logical, and mental real estate. A whole other window is the opposite of that.

I tried this feature when it was in preview, hated it, disabled it, and now apparently I don't have the option?

  18. Breakout room entry/exit-transition is very abrupt

When entering and leaving Breakout rooms, it feels as a user that the transition is very abrupt - the notifications "In 10 secs you will be .." are fine, but a countdown timer would be better ... additionally a "fade in/fade out" feature would be less jarring to the user.

  19. Multi-window "pop outs" for calendar, teams, files in teams etc.

The UI for managing multiple items across the Teams app is lacking at the moment.

There is the inability to have multi-windows for the channels, calendars, teams etc which can make working on several documents or viewing several different items at once, difficult.

It would be great if we could have "pop out" windows, that have been implemented for chats, across the other elements of teams.

  20. Show participants panel at top of screen when screen sharing

When looking at participants video panel then it will make for a more natural engagement as eyes will be looking nearer the video camera
