  1. Need PHONE SYSTEM licenses from Office 365 Business licenses (not just Enterprise)!

Currently MS Teams can only add phone functionality at the Enterprise level. O365 prevents users at the Office 365 Business Premium from accessing phone services. Changing from Business Premium to E3 is an extra $7.50/mo plus phone access at $8/mo plus the actual domestic subscription! A personal Skype Pro number only costs $6.50 per month!

  2. Chat with Skype (not Business)

Our enterprise has clients that haven't Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business, then we talk they via conventional Skype.

Microsoft Teams should chat with conventional (personal) Skype accounts (such as outlook.com). I could do it in Skype for Business.

  3. enable the ability to add people to private chat started with external party

when a conversation is started as a 1:1 chat with an external party the option (top right) to add people to the conversation is missing. this is a real problem causing people to end conversations and start a new conversation with an internal user in order to add the external user/s

  4. Enable accessing to SPO site which added to the Web site tab without signing-in to SPO from Teams

It would be great if I can navigate to the SPO site page which is added to the Web site tab in Microsoft Teams without signing-in to SPO. Because, it prompts to input my credentials every time when access to the site. It’s annoying to enter user-name and password each time, so I would ask you to enable accessing to sites without signing-in.

  5. Fix the "This person is currently using Skype for Business. Some Microsoft Teams features won't be available." issues

"This person is currently using Skype for Business. Some Microsoft Teams features won't be available."

Under Office365, none of our users are using SfB, but most of them show up on Teams as unavailable for chat, with the above message, , even when their presence is 'green.' This is going to drive me back to Slack if not fixed (desktop app and online version).

  7. Reply with IM in Outlook

Replace Skype in the Reply with IM feature in Outlook.

Currently, Skype for Business users can "Reply with IM" or "Replay All with IM" to an email in Outlook. This opens the SFB client with a message to the email sender, or a group message to all recipients on the email.

I am proposing the ability to either replace SFB with Teams, or add Teams as an option to the existing functionality.

Ideally, once this ability exists, the key value is to easily move a conversation from an email to either a channel, a group chat, or an individual chat,…

  8. Auto Attendant Webhook and Azure Functions

It would be great to be able to add a Webhook and Or an Azure Function as a step in an auto attendant. This would allow retrieval of data from a customer database for example. Once the customer database lookup was finished the response could be used as conditions in the later parts of the auto attendant.

This would really increase the power and flexibility of Microsoft Auto Attendant(s)

Example Use Case: Customer calls into the auto attendant, the auto attendant will inform the customer that we are retrieving their account. A web hook or call to an azure function…

  9. Microsoft Teams Room Systems

    Hello Everyone,

May we please suggest that Microsoft Teams provides the same features for Skype Room Systems (with the Conversation, Content and share tray abilities) for Microsoft Teams meetings for conference rooms?

Thank you for taking the time to help bring this idea into fruition.

  10. copy & paste a picture to Outlook

    Hi Team,
it's not possible to copy & paste a Picture from Teams chat to an Outlook Email. Constantly I'm only seeing a white frame in Outlook.
System: Windows 10 1809, Outlook Client of O365 (monthly channel)
    Please fix this.
    Kind regards,
    Daniel

  11. Teams to act as a PBX when using Direct Routing

It would be nice if Teams would act as a PBX when using Direct Routing and your own PBX and not send everything back down the Direct Routing Trunk to the PBX to handle, IE : Call transfers.

The only time something should come back down to the PBX is if the teams user tries to transfer to an external number on the PSTN. This should send a new invite down the Direct Routing Trunk, and Teams should bridge the call. Not relying on the PBX to do this.

Once a call is made from the PSTN down the Direct…

  13. Poor quality image pasted in Teams thread

If I copy and paste an image file or use Ctrl + Alt + PrtScn to capture a screen shot and paste it in Teams thread, the image is shown in the thread, but its quality is poor.
If we see the image as a file, the quality is fine, but I would request the image in the thread should be better quality.

  15. Ability to right click on a chat box and copy contents

It would be great if you could right click on an individual message within a chat and copy contents to the clipboard.

E.G. User 1 sends large paragraph of text to User 2. User 2 wants to copy that text to send in an email. Rather than having to use the mouse to select all the text and press CTRL + C, User 2 can just right-click on the message and click "Copy contents to clipboard"

  16. Install in Program Files directory

We simply can't fathom the idea that Microsoft allows for an Enterprise-level application like Teams to be installed on the user's AppData folder. As IT admins, we need the ability to install this in the Program Files directory. You recently released an MSI package, but that still copies the executable over to the user's %localappdata% directory. This is not secure!

  17. Add-in for Mac

As a Mac user, I'd like to be able to create Microsoft Teams meeting links via an Outlook Add-in, similar to the add-in available on Windows.

  18. Teams to join a skype meeting

During interopeabiltiy phases, a Teams client needs to be able to join a Skype meeting without the skype client being installed on the desktop or mobile device. There should only be a single collaboration tool required.

  20. Google Calendar

I rely on Google Calendar for all of my day-to-day events so right now, I’m having to manually put in my shifts that I’m assigned on Teams. Would be nice to have it sync with my Calendar and maybe even show my supervisor when a shift conflicts with an event on my calendar, similar to Outlook when scheduling a meeting. I’m sure others would benefit from this too? Thanks!
