  1. Fix Teams Live Events so it capture Attendee info when scheduled as BYOE production type.

When running a Teams Live Events with BYOE production type, it does not capture attendee info like it does with a Quick Start production type. The attendee information isn't available in Teams, Team Admin Portal, or Stream at all.

  2. Present in Live Event from mobile device

Allow presenters to join and present in the Live event from their mobile devices. Include the option to present from both cameras, front and back one.

We are having busines updates around the openspace. Therefore, having presenters using their mobile devices to present themselves, or present the person next to them speaking would greatly increase the usability of live event.

Not only, would the off site team been able to attend/present "in the field", but also office based staff would benefit greatly from having significant announcements done in the openspace rather than enclosed area of a meeting room.

  3. Accidental Broadcast Stoppage

We have a lot of users who, during Teams Live Events, accidentally click on the video which pauses the video. They subsequently submit tickets for what they perceive as a broadcast failure. Can the service be altered in a way that only allows them to pause a live feed by clicking on the pause button in the lower left of the broadcast portal.

  4. Teams Live Event End User View Options

Many streaming platforms give end users the ability to resize the video and content panels according to their preference and in some case allows them to choose one or the other. I realize Producers can change views but our end users all have their own particular preferences and it would be nice if they, for example, could make the video pane larger and the content smaller during a broadcast.

  5. Calendar invites for attendees for Live Events

We would like there to be a way for attendees to sign up for live events using teams so that they can automatically get a calendar invite with the event link included. At the moment we have to use a separate form and then send out the link in an email manually before the event. This means that we have to send out multiple invites and there can be a delay between signing up and attendees receiving the link.

  6. Public in Teams Live event must introduce name and email

    Hi,
It is necessary include an optional button to do a requirement for public access to our Teams live events, because we need to know how access to our teams live events.

I mean, we have configure our Teams Live events to public, but we need to know how access (identify how), so It will be nice an optional button to configure a Teams Live Event for name and email requirement for public people.

I attach an example of attende where we can’t know how access to out teams live event.

  7. Customize view of user windows during meetings

I want to be able to decide how many, how big, and what position each user window is during a call. For example, if I’m in a big room and we’re the presenters, I want our own window to be larger so everyone in the room can see what’s being shown. Or if I’m in a meeting with 30 users logged in, I want to be able to choose to see all of them at once in tiled windows.

  8. Add background blur and PowerPoint as a background option to Teams Live Events

Zoom has recently added the ability to use PowerPoint as a background to a presenter's video stream.

It would be a better user experience if attendees could see the powerpoint presentation and presenter as part of a single view- natively within the service. (I don't want to have to use a green screen.

Furthermore, background blur does not seem to be supported if you use Live Events.

  9. I want to know the creator of the channel and who removed the channel

According to the current APIs, we can got the bot events about Channel updates, also the basic information for the channel.

We can't use bot events to get the channel creator, nor use MS Graph to subscribe to these events.

I found some info showed in "General" Channel, like channelInfo

I also tried the graph API, GET https://graph.microsoft.com/beta/teams/{group-id-for-teams}/channels/{channel-id}/messages,

but it is not channel message at all.

The creator and remover of channel may be useful in some cases.

  10. Allow attendees to decide on content/camera ratio

It would be great if attendees could decide on their own about size/aspect ratio of content versus camera in the attendee view.
Additionally it would also be great to enable producers pre-selecting the ratio.

  11. live event pin video

Now that we can pin a video source in regular Teams meetings, please extend that ability to Live Events as well.

We use Live Events for multi-site staff meetings, however as we start adding multiple locations and multimedia, we're stuck with a video grid or hacky solutions like using OBS to project a cropped version of the desktop to a TV. Being able to pin a video source would fix this.

  13. 4 Block Presenters Pannel Discussion

One of the scenarios for broadcasting is a panel discussion (e.g. after the main speaker).
Please add a feature to divide the live screen in 4 blocks, e.g. videos from all 4 Presenter are streamed, one in each block.
    Thanks.

  14. Queue Content next to Presenters

Currently, Presenters content goes strait to "live" even if they are not the active presenter.
Q1: In the Producer view, video streams from multiple presenters are visible at the bottom.
Please add the feature to also queue content from multiple presenters there.
The only way content SHOULD go live is if the Producer click the "Send Content Live" button.

  15. Live Event / Meetings- Two Screens

It would be great if when you are sharing your Screen in a meeting or live event, show your webcam as well so everybody can see both screens in the same window instead of using a 3rd party software or 2 teams devices.

  16. Moderators view options

When using Teams on a regular mode, all the participants can fix one the video in the gallery as the main image, and they get that video camera as main image in full-screen.

However, when moderators join a live event, that same optin, directly is not available. you can only see the rest of moderators' videos as a gallery but not chose one as main and anchor it to full-screen.

    why is that?

    thanks in advance

  18. Save a live event longer than 180 days

Current limitation to keep a live events available only for 180 days is not helping us to promote live events for our users. It is even more strange as when using standard live event service the meeting is saved only for 180 days. But if you are using external encoder the live event is saved directly to Stream and can be stored longer time.

Why standard users should be punished and forced to do manual work to keep meetings longer than 180 days?

  19. Provide a portal to view all my scheduled Live Events.

With Skype Broadcast an event organizer could go to broadcast.skype.com to access each of the upcoming events. In Teams there is no place to see your events list. If the event is more than 2 weeks away you cannot even get back to the event settings from Teams, because the Teams Meeting calendar is limited to only 14 days.

  20. Content Delivery and Reporting for Live Events

Use teams app to provide content delivery bandwidth utilization reductions through P2P along with network reporting and statistics similar to what Hive provides. Other applications like Zoom, BlueJeans for broadcast events offer this native to the application.
