  1. Guest Presenter in Team Live Event Meeting

It does not appear that Guest users can be a presenter in a Live Event meeting. This is a key functionality as not all presenters will be employees.

  2. Adding Room devices to a Teams Live Event.

During a Teams Live Event we can either take the TeamClients or a RTMP encoder as streaming source. It would be great to gain the ability to add SIP-endpoints or Skype Room system too.
Being able to stream from any SIP device is the missing puzzle piece in an already great interrop solution.
Imaging being able to use any video conferences room as Broadcast studio?

I`m sure this would empower the Interrop soloution offer by Polycom, Pexip and BlueJeans a lot.

Currently the only workaround is to use RTMP, but the workflow is to bad for the enduser.

  3. Guest registration for live events

We have trouble introducing the live events feature if not every attendee is known. A solution would be, that additionally to the live event option "organization wide (registration required)" potential external viewer could register for the event, similar to the "Guest" registration for a team. So we can invite internal and external users and ensure that every viewer is known with name and email.

  4. Add live voting and polling to Teams Live Events

With other platforms, you can ask participants to vote and or answer polling questions during the meeting/event. I would like to see functionality such as that available in Teams Live Events (and actually in regular meetings too).

  5. Live Events Mute/Unmute Participants for Q&A

Allow the producer to unmute/mute participants if they ask a question. So the experience could be, a person asks a question in Live Events, the Producer selects them and announces "We have a question from Bob" and then unmutes Bob and allows Bob to verbally ask his question.

  6. Allow upload of pre-recorded video

It would be great to upload a pre-recorded video such as a or town hall. This would allow producers to switch between the pre-recorded content and the live component.
It would also allow people to use Live Events for webinars with better production value as they could record the content beforehand and then be available to answer Q&A live.

  7. Teams Live Events - download file feature

want to have a feature that allows attendees to download a file that a producer uploaded.

When we deliver a presentation, we want to share the PDF/PPT with the audience. Currently, Live Events (or formerly Skype Broadcast) doesn't have a "download file" feature, we need to setup a separate method

  8. Teams Live Events PowerPoint Support

Please add the ability to share/display a PowerPoint slide deck. Currently, this is only possible via screen sharing with Live Events unlike with Skype Meeting Broadcast and Teams Meetings (non-Live Events). This means attendees can't browser slide decks during a Live Event which is a very useful feature. This is noted as a limitation of Live Events while in preview, so just hoping it gets added as a feature. Thanks.

  9. About Include System audio in live events

Even in live events, the Include System audio feature should be implemented when sharing windows.

  10. Save live event recording in Teams channel and Stream automatically

We love the new "live event" feature, but we're not able to roll this our yet as we're missing the auto upload to Microsoft Stream.

Our current setup is an internal product demo every 2 weeks, where we record the demo. This demo is saved in Stream and a thumbnail of the recording is automatically showing in the demo channel in Teams.

This is the note which I found in the Help Center:

Note: "Quick start" live event recordings are currently not saved in Microsoft Stream. You can download the recording from the meeting details and upload it manually to…

  11. Need accurate count of attendees of a Live Event

Currently, when in a Live Event the Producer window shows 0 attendees, even when there are attendees.

The attached file shows that it says 0 attendees when we do have some. Tested this on multiple events with multiple users.

We need this to be accurate.

  12. Give an option for Teams Live Events (and other O365 live events) that will play music before meeting starts

BlueJeans for broadcast events plays audio (like elevator music) so that the remote parties can test the audio devices before the critical events start. This prevents the need for outside companies and needing to start the even early to do audio tests.

  13. PSTN for Live Event Audio

Allow live event audience members to dial in to the audio stream using the PSTN.

  14. Ability to uploadload videos into Teams Live Events to queue up and play by the producer through their interface.

This would allow videos to be uploaded into the broadcast stream ahead of time with audio and the producer would just send the file to live to start the video/audio. This is a future in some of the competitive products like BlueJeans.

  15. Increase the 4 hour limit on a live event

Some of the events run over the 4 hour limitation currently set. We want the 4 hour limit increased to cater for a full day event.

Creating 2 live events to make up 8 hours is also not a optimal solution for us

  16. Enable Teams Live Events for O365 Business Premium Licenses

Please allow Office 365 Business Premium Licenses to use Teams Live Events. I was shocked to find out that E1 Licenses can use Teams Live Events but not Business Premium Licenses. If E1 Licenses can use Teams Live Events why can't Business Premium Licenses? Small Businesses of less than 300 users can definitely make use of Teams Live Events, especially for their customers and product/service announcements.

  17. Mark Presenter answers in a Live Event Q&A from their "actual names"

Add the option to mark Presenter answers in a Live Event Q&A from their "actual names" instead of from "Moderator".
In the Teams Live Event Q&A, the answers from the Presenter(s) are marked from "Moderator" instead of from "their actual name". If a Producer (back end) answers a question it is also marked as from "Moderator". The latter seems logical but the Presenter has actual contact with the audience so it would be nice to see his/her answer to be from his or her "actual name". One would presume that they have introduced themself at the start of the Live…

  18. Live Event / Meetings- Two Screens

It would be great if when you are sharing your Screen in a meeting or live event, show your webcam as well so everybody can see both screens in the same window instead of using a 3rd party software or 2 teams devices.

  19. Provide a portal to view all my scheduled Live Events.

With Skype Broadcast an event organizer could go to broadcast.skype.com to access each of the upcoming events. In Teams there is no place to see your events list. If the event is more than 2 weeks away you cannot even get back to the event settings from Teams, because the Teams Meeting calendar is limited to only 14 days.

  20. Real-time stats during a live event or meeting

During the event we want the ability to see who the attendees are that joined, currently you can only see the total amount of attendees that joined…further to this, we want to know what their experience might be…We want this to be available in real time as the event is running…we want to be able to pinpoint which attendee is having a bad experience as well as knowing when the network between producer / presenter and service is causing the delay as the event progresses.
