Add live voting and polling to Teams Live Events
With other platforms, you can ask participants to vote and or answer polling questions during the meeting/event. I would like to see functionality such as that available in Teams Live Events (and actually in regular meetings too).

Guest registration for live events
We have trouble introducing the live events feature if not every attendee is known. A solution would be, that additionally to the live event option "organization wide (registration required)" potential external viewer could register for the event, similar to the "Guest" registration for a team. So we can invite internal and external users and ensure that every viewer is known with name and email.

Allow multiple video/camera feeds at same time in Live events
With everyone moving to remote these days, it's important for our executive team to provide the same sort of all-staff meeting experience. We currently use 3rd-party tools and want to use Teams, but the Q&A is a cumbersome experience AND our executive cannot each individually show their camera at the same time live as they are answering the questions that come in through the Q&A.
This seems like a gimme sort of feature, but I can't find it anywhere.

Allow upload of pre-recorded video
It would be great to upload a pre-recorded video such as a or town hall. This would allow producers to switch between the pre-recorded content and the live component.
It would also allow people to use Live Events for webinars with better production value as they could record the content beforehand and then be available to answer Q&A live.1,041 votesThis ask is under review by the team, taking into account your votes and comments.

live event attendee list
Live Event Attendee List (during the event)
Except for the people who are part of the organisation team (producers & presenters), a producer cannot see during the webinar WHO is attending it. For me, having a report AFTER the webinar is not enough.
This idea was already discussed in the MS Teams Community, and it was suggested to post an idea here, but I didn't find any, so here you go ;)

Enable gallery view for Teams Live Events
Enable gallery view of all presenters in a Teams Live Event to the attendees so they are able to see video of all presenters at same time.

Live Events Mute/Unmute Participants for Q&A
Allow the producer to unmute/mute participants if they ask a question. So the experience could be, a person asks a question in Live Events, the Producer selects them and announces "We have a question from Bob" and then unmutes Bob and allows Bob to verbally ask his question.
653 votesThanks for your feedback. Mute/unmute participants for Q&A is on the backlog for Live Events. We’ll update you when we have more details.

Queue Content next to Presenters
Currently, Presenters content goes strait to "live" even if they are not the active presenter.
Q1: In the Producer view, video streams from multiple presenters are visible at the bottom.
Please add the feature to also queue content from multiple presenters there.
The only way content SHOULD go live is if the Producer click the "Send Content Live" button.561 votes -
Pin video feed in a recording
When recording a broadcast, the subsequent video created shows the video feeds of other participants (and initials if there is no video feed). Please create a feature where the organizer can mark a video feed as the "Recording feed" so that video feed is full screen on playback.
Use case: Project boards; an external camera is viewing a project board - we want it to be full screen so users can have a clear view of the board rather than having it quarter of the size and 3 boxes filled up with initials of some of the participants.

Presenter Mode to be available on iPad for Teams Live Event
Lots of Chief X Officers (CXO) just have iPad as their primary device of working. With COVID19, they are wanting to use Live Events for Townhalls, broadcast, employee engagements, etc. They also don't have an alternate device with them, such as Laptop or MAC machines. Given the same it will be helpful to have Presenter Mode available on iPad for Teams Live Event.

Custom Live Event waiting message
I want the ability to customize the standard Live Event waiting message to give more details specific to the event. For instance fill out the pre-conference survey here... The message I am referring to says “The event hasn’t started”... and is displayed to the end user before the event producer makes the event live.

Present in Live Event from mobile device
Allow presenters to join and present in the Live event from their mobile devices. Include the option to present from both cameras, front and back one.
We are having busines updates around the openspace. Therefore, having presenters using their mobile devices to present themselves, or present the person next to them speaking would greatly increase the usability of live event.
Not only, would the off site team been able to attend/present "in the field", but also office based staff would benefit greatly from having significant announcements done in the openspace rather than enclosed area of a meeting room.

Enable Teams Live Events for O365 Business Premium Licenses
Please allow Office 365 Business Premium Licenses to use Teams Live Events. I was shocked to find out that E1 Licenses can use Teams Live Events but not Business Premium Licenses. If E1 Licenses can use Teams Live Events why can't Business Premium Licenses? Small Businesses of less than 300 users can definitely make use of Teams Live Events, especially for their customers and product/service announcements.

Teams Live Events PowerPoint Support
Please add the ability to share/display a PowerPoint slide deck. Currently, this is only possible via screen sharing with Live Events unlike with Skype Meeting Broadcast and Teams Meetings (non-Live Events). This means attendees can't browser slide decks during a Live Event which is a very useful feature. This is noted as a limitation of Live Events while in preview, so just hoping it gets added as a feature. Thanks.

Teams Live Event - ability to invite external presenters without O365 license
Our company organizes quite often events with external presenters.
Some of the presenters works in company who doesn't have O365 licenses and accounts, and currently there is no way that they could present in Teams Live Event.
We are aware of possibility of using telephony dial out, but having only voice is just not good enough nowadays.Could you work on such feature?

Professional Live Events Producer Usage
I have a number of small ideas around the practical use of the producer end of live events.
1 Offer more options with regards to split screens eg two face images at the same time. 50/50 split and smaller/larger would be good. don't just restrict to a presenter and a document.
2 Add in the ability to share from two devices at the same time and switch between them. At least one presenter and the producer. If you need a backup, one will bump the other off the shared screen. It also automatically goes live if you do this bump…

More than one person on live event screen
It would be WONDERFUL to have more than one webcam showing in a live event. This would allow for a panel discussion and proper virtual interaction/debate between presenters. Similar to what GoToWebinar has
Is this in the pipeline?344 votes -
Give an option for Teams Live Events (and other O365 live events) that will play music before meeting starts
BlueJeans for broadcast events plays audio (like elevator music) so that the remote parties can test the audio devices before the critical events start. This prevents the need for outside companies and needing to start the even early to do audio tests.
