I see there is an import and export feature, which is nice. The import feature allows you to download a template, but it would be nice to be able to export the schedule already formatted for import to another team. Currently, If I want to move a shift to another team, I would have to export the file, download the template and manually bring all the data over and do the conversion. If I have shifts assigned several weeks in the future this could be very time consuming. Unless I am missing something?5 votes
Shifts notifications should use the Azure Active Directory Name field.
We have users with Given names (stored as FirstName and LastName in AAD) and Preferred names (stored as Name in AAD). Notifications from Teams are sent from the AAD Name field, but Shifts notifications are sent from the FirstName & LastName fields. We need to have the notifications for Shifts match the behavior of the notifications in Teams.5 votes
It would be awesome to have a native integration between Shifts and Kronos. The nature of our business requires us to perform clock-in/clock-out using bio-metrics so as an organization we will eventually move to Kronos for timekeeping. There's value in Teams with Shifts on the side of Communications and Collaboration which isn't Kronos' strongest offering. We would love to see the schedules we create in Teams show in Kronos or schedules created in Kronos show up in Teams. Our users maintain a single place for their schedule data (Teams) and we can meet or org's compliance (bio-metric clock-in)5 votes
Please add shifts to government (and higher education) tenants of Office365 by default5 votes
Hello and thank you for the feedback. My name is Amir and I am a product manager in the Shifts team. We have this request high on our backlog. Do you foresee unique needs of government customers for shifts management beyond compliance?

I have staff that work in different locations. I would like to see this feature as a selectable option per shift. Currently i use colour coding and a comment.5 votes
If there were a way to utilize Shifts to schedule volunteers for events by setting up time slots that would allow for up to X people to sign up for the slot but potentially allow people to swap with the shift's manager's approval. Reminders and mobile support would be great to have with it too, but the basic functions of the scheduling would be awesome.5 votes
Our team usually works hourly shifts. We can work multiple shifts in a row or when available. We like using the Open shifts so everyone can request for the hours they want, but it becomes tedious when we have to request each shift we want individually. It would be great if Shifts allowed you to select multiple shifts and request them at once.5 votes
Create a drop-down of "Activities" on the Shifts App in Teams so that we can track more activities than simply "lunch" or "break".5 votes
We would like to give mobile access of Shifts to our non-exempt employees but they would also have to have access to Teams. Since they likely wouldn't be on the clock when they're checking their schedule in Shifts, we don't want them to have the ability to work in Teams. We would like the ability to only allow them access to Shifts.5 votes
The ability to assign a default color to the type of time you take off. For example, vacation could be pink, holiday blue, sick time red, etc.5 votes
In shifts calender you have slot called "day notes".
if we where able to attach a word dokument in this slot, it would make us able to add a word template for Day & night shift handover.
this would be a great improvemt for the usage on "day notes" & make us able to have shift plans and handovers in one place5 votes
Can Shifts work with ADP for time tracking and requests?5 votes
Staff Hub iOS app was able to display all staff and their shifts for the whole month (as the desktop app can) but this doesn’t seem to be available on the current mobile apps.... is this something that will be implemented?5 votes
think about a team that has on-call responsibility for several customers. A team member has then on-call duty for some of the customers at the same day, week or even month. Therefore it would be great if shift is capable of
Enter and showing shifts by week, month, quarter or year and grouped by customer or by employee.5 votes
When people ask for a day off (or couple of hours off) it's displayed on another line- many lines if you have more than 2 events on a day.... - and the planning begin to be hard to read -
Beside that, the counts of people by day (or hour) is false as the shift do not disappear from the planning - the calculation of working hours / days off are not done5 votes
currently open shifts list all open shifts you requested or didn't request.
if there could be a step to decline a open shift, this will then move from their current list
from In Progress to Done
This way employees know which shifts they said they are available to and are waiting for approval without needing to open each entry5 votes
As a call centre consultant my breaks set can vary each day. To allow for automated reminders I schedule these into outlook.
It would be good if some integration between teams and outlook could be investigated. Or setting up shift reminders for breaks in teams, instead of just shift reminders on the start times4 votes
I'm trying real hard to get my managers on board with using the Shifts Calendar. The only reason they are hesitant is the lack of reporting. We need to be able to pull reports from shifts to:
1. Show the total hours for the specific shift types
2. Show each person's total.
The existing export of the weekly calendar is not a very good report.
Allowing Shifts data to easily be pulled using Power Automate and Power Bi would also be helpful with a couple of tutorials.4 votes

Please let normal users edit shifts in the Teams Shifts app
現在 Microsoft Teams のシフトアプリでは、チームの所有者以外のユーザーがアイテムを作成、編集することができません。
Currently only the team owner can create and edit items for the Microsoft Teams Shifts app, and all other users cannot do the same.
Thus I hope that a configuration will be implemented to enable users that are not team owners to edit shifts as well.4 votes
Allow owners of the Teams to edit time entries for corrections.4 votes
