  1. Have a comment system with simple / non jargon categories

    * Less is more - really gets confusing when you have more than 10 to choose from and I’ll probably choose the wrong one (which will pigeon-hole my suggestion)
    * what exactly is “power bar”, “surface hub” and “VPI hub”? My guess is these are for subsets of UI issues. I’m probably sending my UI suggestions down the wrong channel.
Does anyone outside of Microsoft know what these categories mean?

  3. Browse Topics

Allow a user to share a link to the Help > Browse Topics page and sub-pages. Currently, the only way to share the page is to tell the user to click Help > Browse Topics but it would be even easier if you can share this page and all sub-pages to quickly show someone how to do a specific task in Teams.

  4. When creating a new team from the Teams Templates Copy SharePoint Lists

When you have created a Team and you have created a SharePoint list in the background it is not copying this list over.
I setup a OneNote with some information about the Template and this was not copied over.
I setup a Planner tab with some build in tasks and this was not setup and all information gone.

  5. Minimum System Requirements

Would like to see what Microsoft's minimum recommended Hardware and Software requirements are for Teams, in a published document somewhere.

Does anyone else think that we should have this information from Microsoft?

  6. Modify You've Been Added to a Team email

It would be nice to be able to modify the initial "You've Been Added to a Team" email to include links to overviews or internal support materials, best practices, etc. This will help us guide first-time users in getting started in Teams.

  7. Spelling mistake in Help section of teams

There is a spelling mistake in the Help section of teams. details below.

    Learn about teams and channels
    Explore the Activity feed
    Activity feed basics

Select Activity activity to see your Activity feed, a summary of everything that's happened in the team channels you follow. You can also select Filter flash light filter icon to show only certain types of messages such as unread messages, @mentions, replies, and likes. Windows Phone users, we're sorry but you buys don't have that option.

Should that say boys/guys/something else? probably shouldn't say buys

  8. Outlook Integration - Email Draft Recipient check against Teams

Need help on the switch from the old paradigm of communicating to a team via email to the new one using tools like teams.

It seems people need lots of reminders, they often revert to the old habit of email even after being added to a team..

maybe some sort of outlook/teams awareness (plugin/etc) to help encourage teams use in some cases?

    Such as:
    <outlook notification>
All Recipients of this email are members of Team X; would you rather use MS teams (<link to team>) for this communication?

    etc.

This request is still under review by the feature team.

  10. "What's Changed" overlay (Coachmarks)

You should have a "what's changed" overlay everytime it updates, or at least a pinned topic on this page with a summary of the changelogs.
Given that it is a new product, some updates might include the missing feature that a team is waiting to switch over to Teams and it would be good to be able to discover this.

  11. Teams Intro Video

There is no way to exit the Intro Video. I had to close the Tab. Add a close button.

Whoa, good catch! Thanks Matt. I’ll send this over to the team so they can fix.

  12. Newbie Mode

In group channels, if someone enters a message via "Type a new message" area (instead of replying to an existing thread) Teams will ask if they are sure they wish to create a new thread. (Of course the usual options in the prompt to disable asking again in the future.)

I would also change the "Type a new message" to "Start a new thread"

Perhaps replace the "Reply" button with a "Type a response" box.

  13. This is so horrible. It takes way too long to log in to Outlook for me email. This shouldn't be this difficult. Why do I get logged off

This is an awful site. It takes way too long to log in and I have to sign in way too often. Plus it doesn't remember my password for some reason. I don't have the time to wait for this each day and sometimes during the day.
My gmail accounts open very easily. Outlook is horrible. I need all my email accounts open all day long. Closing out the tabs and going back to sign in each day on my teams page is dumb. I would never recommend this program. Unfortunately I am stuck using it because the team leader…

  14. Just make it work! So buggy!

Just make it work. Has issues and the flow still needs to be done better in the Teams app. What about Windows ink in Teams?

  16. Do a better job of explaining what it does and why I need it.

I'm sure someone finds this useful, but as someone who gets it installed on their PC as part of an Office 365 there's little to no documentation on what it does or why I need it. What does it do for me that I can't accomplish by emailing a file or using a Skype conversation with someone? I shouldn't need to be a rocket scientist to figure this out.

  17. Allow browsers other than IE to signup for the Teams uservoice forum

When using Edge or Chrome to signup for the Microsoft Teams uservoice forum it's not possible to accept the terms of service and therefore sign up. It's fine using IE.

By comparison, the Visual Studio uservoice forum will allow signup with Chrome and Edge.

  18. 10 Minute Rapid sign up

Let's suppose I am in one of the following situations:

    * I'm a teacher or lecturer with a class full students.
    * I'm at a conference doing a presentation

I want to create a team and add all the people as members. Which would be doable if I had a list of everyone's email. But often teachers don't have instant access to all of their students email addresses. Rarely would presenters know the emails of all the guests.

At present I could get a link for my team. Then convert that to QR code then project that on the wall…

  19. go ahead and log in

    Hi,
I've been using teams for a while, but since my last password change I can't log in. The windows application is continually stuck at "Go ahead and log in." I've uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared my credential cache of all msteam* items. I can't seem to get in regardless of anything of tried. I can still log in through the web application, but the windows app is not working at all.
    Thanks,
    Jon
