Wide-angle web cams are cropped
We have a wide angle webcam for our conference room. When we have more than 1 person join a meeting, it crops the video feed of our conference room. Microsoft Teams recognizes the wide angle aspect ratio just fine but crops it based on how many other users join the meeting. Either the right or left side of the video is cut off depending on which position the video is placed in the meeting screen.
Having a setting to maintain aspect ratio would be really helpful. We are loosing video of people who are presenting if they aren't in the…

Add better support for full room cameras
We use this camera in our conference room: https://www.owllabs.com/. It is designed to show a 360 degree view and also focus on the speaker(s). When Teams does its own resizing of the video, it often cuts off portions of the view from this camera. It would be nice to force teams to always show the full perspective from this camera (even if it is resized smaller). It would also be nice to set this as a "primary" camera in the meeting, so that it is not resized smaller.

Teams Room - Hide local HDMI content
We would like the ability to stop sharing HDMI content plugged into our Teams Room system without needing to disconnect the HDMI cable from the device. We're demoing both the Crestron and Logitech solutions and both have this behavior. When an HDMI device is plugged in to the system, the content shares automatically to the display. You can hit stop presenting and it will stop sharing the content, until you start a Teams meeting. Once the meeting is started, the HDMI In content shows on the in room display over all camera feeds from remote participants. You can show thumbnails…

Poly X50 devices support dual monitors, but the secondary monitor is unable to be used with the Teams Collaboration Bars

Teams Room unmute functionality
It is possible to mute all participants in a meeting from a Teams Room Device, but there is no functionality to unmute them all together or even unmute some participants individually.
Both these features would be useful.

Support for more than 1 USB camera
SRSv2, according to documentation, supported up to 2 USB cameras with switching using the video icon. I would like this feature also in the new Teams Room Systems.

Ability to recording the Teams meeting from the "Team Room System"
I would like to suggest MS to add the feature to both Skype Room systems and Teams room system the ability to record the meeting directly. Instead of requesting an attendee join the meeting and do recording.

Display more than 4 videos on a Team Room system(Crestron)
Microsoft recently released an update on Microsoft Teams to allow 3x3 video 9 total within a Teams meeting. It would be great if the same feature was available for the Team Room system like Crestron.

Teams Rooms running on a Raspberry Pi 4
Like a cut-down Surface Hub just for Teams and very economic for small businesses and businesses with lots of meeting rooms. For meeting rooms that have an existing TV in the room which people usually plug in an HDMI cable, just hide a Raspberry Pi behind the TV running Windows 10 and Teams Rooms.

iPad support for Teams Room
My company already owns a bunch of iPads for use in our Zoom rooms. It would be great if I didn't have to rebuy hardware.

When using Crestron, the 60 second timeout for the room control interface is counter-intuitive in some situations.
The Cresron UC Flex product with Microsoft Skype and Teams provides the programmer a custom interface for room controls. In certain situations such as larger conference rooms and divisible spaces where the custom control interface needs to be the primary control interface for users and the Skype/Teams interface called up when needed. This would allow the Crestron UC Flex system to be utilized in more environment, driving more sales (both Crestron and Microsoft).
My suggestion is to provide an option for the Custom Room controls timeout to be set to longer times (5 mins, 10 mins, 30 mins, etc.) as…106 votes -
Larger Gallery View on MTR's
we now have 3x3 Gallery view (soon to be 7x7) on the Windows client, yet MTR's which have much larger screens are still limited to 4 participants being displayed on the screen at any time.
we desperately need this to be updated to 9 ASAP, and ultimately 49 to be inline with the client.
it would also be nice to be able to configure how many you want to see in order to make best use of the screen you have dependent on the size.

Thanks!

Teams rooms system on a regular pc
In our company we have a computer in each meeting room, with all the required device to run a proper meeting and we find it's quite expansive to replace all the devices (who are working) by surface hub or other teams rooms systes.
Therefore, may I suggest to allow the installation of teams system rooms on a regular pc (example a nuc), a bit like the kiosk mode from windows 10 and itune? Or to other device?
this would be part of a sustainable approach
a bit similar to that topic but extended to other device: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/37995112-teams-rooms-running-on-a-raspberry-pi-4

Allow Teams to Share to Both Screens when using a Teams Room System and Two Displays
Currently if you have a Teams Room System with two displays connected to it you can only do People on one screen and content on the other. We would like the ability to switch between using both screens to display content or doing the people + content.

Incorporate Dante audio
The integration of Dante enabled audio for Teams Rooms will provide network integration of large room audio systems. This will ease incorporation with existing facilities as well as facilitate new installations.
