  1. Show email address under participant lists

I often have Teams meetings with multiple parties from different organisations. If you click "show participants" during a meeting you see a list of usernames. Underneath the user's full name it says "Outside your organisation". That's not very useful for me, I'd much rather see their email address so I can figure out what company they work for

  2. Make it openable at background!

Please make this program to be enabled to be opened at background. We have had really bad security issues because program is opening to desktop at top and previous conversation comes visible. On one customer meeting our salesman got network operating during his presentation and Teams pops up at top and shows our previous conversation of that meeting sales strategy and prices. This is not modern way to do and not platform what you can use to discuss anything if this is not fixed quickly! REALLY SERIOUS FAULT! And when opening program do not show previous conversations show main screen.

  3. I want to control enabling of anonymous join with the option of team or channel

Anonymous join should be implemented with options that can be controlled by team or channel.

This feature allows anonymous users to be restricted after the meeting.

  4. Send documents to Guests within Teams Meeting

It would be great to send documents to Guests within a Teams Meeting, so that they can download or save locally. Ideally it would be good to choose to send to select participants, and/or all participants.

  5. Virtual Reception for Meeting Allocation or Direction

It would be very useful to be able to allocate participants into sub-virtual Meeting rooms. As an example, multiple users get placed into a lobby or VMR, that an administrator/recepetion could then allocate into a seperate VMR for that specific Meeting. Like a lobby that directs to other lobbies.

  6. Teams Meeting Lobby Queue Management

While there are participants waiting in the lobby, it would be very useful to be able to send them custom messages while in the lobby. This can be used to notify participants of delays in attending the call, or pre-meeting preparation functions such as turn on cameras and mics or have specific documents ready.
Ideally this would be useful to have the ability to send custom messages to specific lobby participants, or all lobby participants.

  7. Meeting Chat to individual Guest participants

In a meeting chat, it would be ideal to be able to have isolated chats with Guests, that only that specific Guests can see. This chat should also be not persistent, so that content is cleared whe nthe Guest leaves the call.

  8. Start a Meeting with Camera On/Off Control

Meetings should have the option to allow camera setting to be on or off autmatically at the time of joining meetings, particularly for Guests. In a healthcare context, making a patient find the camera on toggle is frustrating and difficult. If this could be turned on automatically for certain Meetings, it would be very valuable.

  9. Wireless Display through Windows Connect

Wireless Display through Windows Connect (Windows + K) Feature in Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR). This way you can share content wirelessly in the room without having to join a Skype/Teams meeting.

  10. Provide the same Q&A moderator capability in Live Events within Teams

Even with smaller team meetings, there is often a need to have Q&A moderation rather than scrolling through chat or opening up the floor to Q&A.

It would be useful to leverage the Q&A moderation capability found in Live Events within simple meetings.

  11. Add a Meetings tab to the Teams Desktop application

Skype would let you easily see/join upcoming meetings. It is ridiculously difficult to join from Teams, particularly when the Join Online and Launch from Browser options do not work more than half of the time.

Pinning meetings is sometimes an option, but not a great solution (particularly when meetings have the same title).

  12. See who is in the party (Teams call) before joining - Like Xbox!

So before joining a meeting or receiving the prompt to join one - there is an initial splash screen showing:
    > Title of meeting
    > Your picture
    > Join now button
    > various options for video/ voice device control
    > other join options

But - why doesn't it show who is in the call in this screen? or who has been invited to the call?

  15. About whiteboard logs

If the user is using a whiteboard, it should remain in the audit log.

  17. Indicate that my video is currently visible

Today, when you are in a call with 5+ participants, only four participants are featured at a given time (the last four who have spoken). If there are 5 or more participants, it's impossible to tell whether you are one of those four featured participants at any given time.

I know there is separate feedback about making everyone's webcams visible instead of just the last four people who have been speaking, which I am in support of. But in the meantime, and even after that feature gets implemented, it would be really helpful to know if you are one of…

  18. screen share preview

Feature: The ability to see a preview window of your own screen share live during a sharing session

The existing screen preview before sharing is very useful - however presenters still end up with problems that "live self-screen-share" would help with.

In online meetings often people presenting have multiple screens and might be presenting the wrong one (even with screen share preview before launching) or there might be lag for participants in seeing the screen changes.

There is often discussion between participants asking questions like "are you seeing this", "are you sharing the right screen", "did you know the screen…

  19. Roll call feature

The awkward roll-call that kicks off our 10+ person meetings needs a solution!

The moderator needs to see a simple list that lists attendees. The feature/tool could allow people to click a name and "check-in" when they join a call. The feature would also address the situation when a few people are in a room together and join a call. Currently, only the individual who calls in is listed which doesn't actually capture who is "on the call."

  20. remove or significantly minimize attendee log when sharing a screen

When somebody is sharing his/her screen during a Teams meeting, there is a band at the bottom of the screen sharing window. the band shows the attendees but it's taking a lot of space that could be used for enlarging shared screen. i couldn't figure out how to minimize or eliminate this bottom band.
