  1. Decide which page shows up first when you click on a team

    I would like to be able to set the planner as the first page you see when you click on a team, rather than the posts page. We always go straight to our planner and never use the posts page.

  2. I'd lie to be able to categorise or group my teams and provide a personnal name for them

    Some of my teams are ones that I am managing within my own department and will need to report on the activity - others are teams I am being ask to join. I would like to be able to group my teams but also be able to change the names that I see so I can quickly identify the relevance.

  3. Add scheduled time for Team planner items

    Planner board does contain date, but not time. We need time in planner to be able to use this effectively.

  4. Re-order labels in "Group by Labels" view

    User should be able to re-order labels as desired without sacrifising the colour preference

  5. Connect Planner to the Calendar

    It would be nice to use the planner functionalities but assign it to someone and it automatically connect to their calendar.

  6. Task Dependencies, Predecessors and Successors

    We are in the process of implementing TEAMS and PLANNER in my department, an exciting endeavor. Several people have made comments on the inability to link task dependencies in Planner, which I agree would make it better for Project and Operations planning. The ability to link tasks would be great, even if it doesn't feed into schedule tracking / analytics. That being said, I still wish to thank you and every member of your team for developing this WONDERFUL product!!

  7. Archiving Buckets in Planner tab

    when you create many buckets in Planner - for example live agenda considering each bucket is defined for different week - we need to have option to hide (close) or archive previous

    there is space on vertical taskbar and this access for all "my tasks" is needed

  9. TEAMS Planner should have the option for Recurrent Tasks

    TEAMS Planner app should have the ability to create recurring tasks to the same degree that exists for meetings in outlook. One of our managers mentioned that some tasks are repetitive for our department, requiring the same resources, and he doesn't want to have to create or copy 100 instances. As a Finance/Accounting department this would be great for monthly close. Additionally the option to then update either the singular task or the series would be beneficial to changes in resources or due dates.

  10. Planner App in Teams can accommodate screen shots.

    I'd like to be able to include screen shots in planner task. A picture is worth a thousand words, and sometimes it helps to clarify a task if you can include a screenshot.

  12. Ability to pin grouping of tasks to "assigned to" instead of bucket

    It would be helpful to be able to select a default grouping option. For example that whe i go to the planner tab in my channel I immediately have all the tasks grouped by who they are assigned to instead of having an overview of the buckets.

    We have for example many buckets, but few people, which would make it easier to create new tasks

  13. Add colour to Planner!

    Planner is great for integration with other Microsoft office tools but it falls far behind competitors with it's utter bland-ness! Having the ability to change the dull grey background as well as colour-code and add images to tasks would lift Planner's game no-end & encourage 1000's more to migrate from other platforms.

  14. Add @mentions in planner tabs

    @ mentions do not seem to work outside of the chat and channels. It would be useful to be able to tag someone directly in the Notes, Checklist and Comments of a planner card.

  15. Combine Tasks within Planner to a category or cluster

    You can create tasks within Planner, but you are not able to categorize them. For example a some tasks are related to each other, because they were cut to small tasks. I´m not able to find out which tasks were related to a specific higher level issue.

  16. Create a new task from a checklist item

    It should be possible to promote a checklist item to a new task.
    Just a simple right click "Create task from checklist item"

  18. planner

    Our company uses planner a lot in teams via the integrate plan in tab feature. We love that. We miss two things:


    • If I add a comment in a planner card, I cannnot adress somebody (of my team where planner board is integrated) by the @symbol. This would be helpful and this person should get a teams notification.

  19. RACI Planner

    when creating a new task in planner, I can assign this to several contacts… it would be nice to add people just for information... and may be people as accountant (like the creator)

  20. Checklist items should work like tasks

    Under a task the checklist should work like a normal task, to be more efficient. A subtask might be delegated to other workers and might need their own info and attached files etc.
