  1. Re-occuring tasks for planner (Daily/Monthly/Quarterly)

    Possibility to create re-occuring tasks that repeat either daily/weekly/monthly and so on, or on specific dates.

  2. Improve Planner

    Give an option to show or not show on card people assigned to a task
    When all items are not shown on card, reduce size of box giving complete task and options buttons in one line. Also add quick view buttons for certain sections next to these buttons - this should pop out the information but not change the view permanently.
    Allow an option to visually distinguish items that I am assigned to, eg. icon/colour.

  3. conversation within task

    as soon as we push a message within a task, it informs all the member of the team, even if the task is allocated to only 2 members "only" => it would be better to inform only the allocated people of the concerned task instead of the total members list of the team

  5. I need the ability to look at meeting more than 6 days into the future.

    Please allow for the viewing of more calendar days for meetings to be able to manage meetings with members.

  6. Create a plan without a group

    Creating a new plan in planner should NOT automatically create an entire new group with a sharepoint space, calendar, etc etc. Not every plan needs all these bells and whistles. There should be options to create a new group, add to existing group, or add to existing channel that is the child of a group.

    Additionally, there should be a way to see an aggregated view of all planner tasks in subchannels of a parent group. We are using a Team to manage a program of projects with channels for the individual projects. Lack of this capability prevents having a…

  7. Add existing Planner in different Teams and any channels

    I already create Planner before using Teams.
    So, now i have 2 share points and 2 planner and 1 team.
    I want to add 1st planner in Teams (2nd planner).
    Moreover, there is more than 1 channel in Team.

    I want to add same planner in multiple channel too.

  8. delete buckets

    While it's possible to delete individal tasks it seems not to be possible to delete buckets in the planner app (even when they are empty).

  10. Show all planner assigned tasks in Outlook To-Do List

    I would like to see all tasks assigned in all plans to me in the outlook To-Do List. This way people would also be able to set reminders to start working on tasks with set start/due dates... also outlook would become a sort of dashboard with all you have to do again....

  11. Include a Task Manager Section

    It would amazing to have a task manager where you can create a task list and assign them to team members and mark the status of them. This would allow for easy allocation and management of tasks, streamlining communication for all, and a historical record of when task were opened and completed.

  12. Acknowledge Assigned Tasks

    Once a task is assined to someone, it would be useful to have an acknowledge process where he accepts the tasks.

    Tasks not accepted should be shown somewhere so that a manager can oversee if projects are moving or not and if team members are actually checking what was assigned to them.

  13. creating tasks in planner for teams by drag and drop from outlook

    It would be great to create a Task out of an E-Mail from Outlook.
    Drag a mail and drop it into the planner tab should create a new task.

  14. Stop planner "Delete Plan" from deleting Teams team.

    If you select "Delete Plan" in Microsoft planner, it also deletes the Team associated with that planner board.

    We see this as a critical bug and have already had a large presentation delayed as a person accidentally deleted two important teams by deleting the planner boards via Planner.

  15. Sorting feature from Planner is missing in Team application

    Hi, I have installed Teams on my computer. I have added a sheet to get a link to planner (to an existing plan). Unfortunately, when I use Planner inside Teams window, I am not able to sort the tasks by people or status, as I can do in the Planner on-line application. It seems that this sorting feature was forgotten...

  16. Record/log Bucket changes for Tasks

    Also record/log Bucket changes for Tasks in the chat log just like created and complete status changes. For tracking the iterations that the task took until completion.

  17. Make a post or comment Actionable

    Had an interesting use case pop up today -- one of my team members sent a review request as an email to the team with a link to a Teams-based document. When I asked why she sent an email, she said she considers email to be more "visible" than things in Teams, and that sometimes things are lost in Teams.

    Further investigation concluded that if we had the ability to convert conversations or bits of conversations into actionable items and add reminders/notifications to those somehow, the tool would be infinitely easier to use.

    Planner within Team Desktop Client: Add Group By View
    The web version has ability to switch between views(bucket, progress etc). Also make the default view between the desktop and web version the same to avoid confusion.

  19. Fix Planner / Teams interface

    I created a Plan in a Teams channel and added some tasks with assignments to team members. Feeling constrained by the Teams UI, I clicked the icon on the teams plan page to open the planner website. In planner I can see the plan but it has no tasks in it. But on the "My Tasks" page of planner, my assigned tasks are displayed. I can't figure out how to tell planner about the tasks in this plan.
