  1. Weightings (time,points, percentage etc.) against tasks in Microsoft Planner

    Hello Team, It would be great to have weightings (time, percentage, points and etc.) against tasks in Microsoft Planner, which also be reflected in Charts section.

    Inside a task, when manipulating the checklist the "Up Arrow" is misleading. It frequently confuses people who think it simply pushes that checklist entry up. the notion of promote is confusing. Perhaps it should say more. Create new task from item, might be more intuitive or maybe the Up Arrow is a less than optimal choice.

  3. unable to assign a former member

    When someone is removed from Teams Planner, they become a "Former Member". If a Former Member is already assigned a task you can't remove them from a task. As you remove them they automatically reappear onscreen.

  5. Bulk task creation in planner.

    It should be possible to mass-create tasks in planner. When you manage ad-hoc team tasks on a daily basis- it's manageable.
    But when you'd like to plan some work over a longer period of time and have a lot of tasks to assign- it's not suitable to do that one by one.
    If you take SharePoint- it's possible to create a list of tasks by copying them from excel (task list can be edited in 'excel-like' mode). Something similar should be available in Teams to really take advantage of the planner functionality.

  6. Additional free roles for other involved people

    Additional (free) roles to assignedto, Proposal to add according RACI definitions like Responsible ( Assigned to ), accountable, consult, infomed. Perhaps an own additional roles. This fields should be searchable, too

  8. Tasks grouped in Planner tab need a more intuitive layout

    Viewing tasks in the Planner channel in Teams is not user friendly. New buckets are added horizontally, requiring awkward horizontal scrolling, which is not intuitive!

    Buckets should be arrayed and scaled (within reason) on the "Tasks" tab by default, with all buckets easily visible.

    Click "Add a tab" in Teams to see how tightly the available tabs are grouped together. Buckets need a display option similar to this, with a single-click action to open the bucket and display tasks inside.

  9. Sharing files on Teams Planner

    It's impossible to drag and drop a file on Teams planner or at least share a file, only possible on Microsoft 365.

    Hi, it would be really helpful, if teammembers would get a popup, if they were choosen for a task. in the moment, they get no information about a new task

    Planner needs more labels, currently 6 are available and we areusing all 6 and have the need for 4 more labels - at least.

  13. Planner tab should remember my Group by and Filter settings

    Every time I switch away from and back to the Planner tab (client app, not web), it resets to the default view with Filter (0) and Group by Bucket. I always have to apply Group by Process, and sometimes Filter by 'assigned to me', which is annoying. It would be nice if it remembered my last view settings.

  14. Transfer task between planner

    In some project I use different planner for channels so that each channel uses its own workflow.

    At some point I need to move a task to another plan.
    It would be great to be able to do that

  15. Default chennel filter for shared Teams planner

    Planner integration with teh ability to discuss it in Teams is a great idea.

    But it's frustrating that one needs to create as much planner as Channel if one don't want to mix task up.

    It would make sens to have one master planner for a Team, so we can follow the overall work, and being able to set default filter in channel so as to foxus on task linked to the channel.

  17. In Planner, ensure different people with the same initials aren't recorded as the same colour code

    When two people working in Planner with the same first and surname initials are assigned a coloured profile circle (if a profile picture isn't uploaded), this circle appears the same colour.

    e.g. my leader and I both have the same initials (KL) and our profile circles are both the same colour (blue). This is confusing at high-level glance, as it makes us look like we're assigned to each other's work, and/or makes it look like we've been assigned a mass amount of tasks that we haven't.

    It would be easier if the colour of people's profile circles was allocated based…

  19. Manager View / View All Team Tasks

    Currently, when I open Planner within the Teams desktop app, I only have the option to see my tasks. I have direct reports whose tasks I need to monitor. So I need to open the Planner web app separately, just so I can see unassigned tasks within plans that aren't mine or to see tasks assigned to other people. That's kind of a silly oversight.
