List in table format which shows all tasks with all linked information like, responsible person, start date, due date, Status, comment, etc. so that all Tasks can be seen in one view. Option to download list as Excel file.

Planner Charts- Have a graph showing how many tasks were assigned by person in the team
More chart options such as the one stated above. Also the ability to move charts around to put more relevant charts to that channel near the top

Task Dependancies with Auto Calculate Task Start and End Dates
Link tasks to precendents with notifications when task completes, so next person can comence work on following tasks. It would also be great to be able to define how many days between start and end of each task, and due date of final task, (or any other task in the chain) so the start and end dates of all the tasks in the chain can be automatically calculated.

Integrate IBM Maximo
Could be greate to utilize Teams for Maximo, integrate for Communication efficiencies please. less phone calls, emails, and text if you can reflect a gantt schedule that is building.

Planner in Teams - Display options - Collapse, Tiles, etc.
I have seen multiple different posts but I couldn't find this suggestion: Planner within Teams is .. clunky. The buckets are too wide and too big and there is no way to shrink or resize the columns or display settings or change the display to a different view or simply collapse all buckets into 'tiles' which you can then open/close.
This feels like a very basic integration that hasn't been completed yet.2 votes -

Planner hub group by label
In the planner hub, it would be good to group all my cards (not just assigned to me) by labels.
I used planner to manage multiple teams and projects and use labels to assign categories. Since the planners are mostly for my internal purposes, I don't use the assign feature.4 votes -
Planner
When someone leaves a comment on a task within Planner, other's assigned to the task get a teams message and/or email to advise them a comment has been left. At present the only way to identify a comment is to fully open the task within the planner screen.

Show which team/channel each plan came from
Right now when going through the planner tab in the Mac app or on the web, the full list of tasks assigned to me are there under My Tasks. However, there's no indication of which team or channel it came from, which can be annoying and troublesome, especially when it's someone else assigning the task to me.
A simple line under the plan name stating (and possibly linking to the original plan) the team and channel would instantly fix this problem.

Checklist items in Planner need due dates
Checklist items in Planner need due dates. Currently, we can only assign due dates to the whole task but there are many tasks within that need due dates or else it gets lost.

Link tasks together in a cascade/waterfall style so when one is completed the next becomes active and the allocated team members are notified.Alternatively, allocate individual checklist items in a task to team members and have notifications when each is completed and can move on to the rest.
If this is the way you go, ensure checklist functionality includes order tasks need completing and if some tasks can be done at same time (by different team members) and due dates for completion.3 votes -

group tasks in Planner by "created by"
We would like to be able to sort tasks in Planner by "created by" in the same way we can sort by "assigned to". This is useful for the person who assigns tasks to review and confirm that their tasks have been addressed.

Link files in the planer to your folder in teams (instead of sharepoint-link for internetbrowser)
At the Moment if you want to link a file to a Task, the file itself Needs to be in a Folder.
If you click on that linked document it doesnt open in the program Teams, instead it opens in your browser.
Please make it open in Teams!
Another idead is the Option to directly upload the file there, instead of uploading it first and then link it3 votes -
Comments on Planner to have same functionality as Teams chats
I would like to be able to to have all my comms on a project happen via Planner instead of email, so that others can view the project and see all the decisions made / history on a project.
In order for this to be effective the "comments"" section on planner should have the same functionality as Teams chat, e.g. ability to add screenshots, proper formatting, link display etc.

Need to make checklists longer than 20 items, this is very limiting.

Should not have to create a new Team for each Plan created in Planner
You should be able to add an existing Plan to any Team, not have to create a new Team for each Plan you've created in Planner.
I used a workaround to create a Planner template, by creating a Plan that I can copy and rename, however I need the ability to add each new plan to a different channel within the same team. As it stands, I have to create a new team from each group established by the new plan, which totally defeats the purpose of Teams!4 votes
