  1. Enhancement of Planner - Comment /Assign to/Progress/Owner of TEAM to access Planner


    • In the comment box we would like to highlight letters or emphasize them with bold or italic font.

    • We want to assign more than 11 people

    • When we assign more than 2 people we want to know who complete the task one by one and avoid them to check complete even one of them has not been completed the task

    • Receive notification when competed the task or someone completed the task

    • The owner of TEAM does not have an access to Planner

  2. Save items in a task

    When I uploaded a file in a task, the file is saved in the first sharepoint layer. Its a pitty, because i have no chance to use the file via teams->channel->files. Its only works via browser or synced explorer to reach the first layer up to 'documtents'. I need the chance to choose in the task menue, where the file should saved.

  3. Copy or link Planner task in different teams

    If I've a Planner task in a portfolio team and want to work on it in an another teams, then I've to copy it. Afterwards I must editing both.

    allow 2 planner views simultaneously so tasks within teams can be viewed side by side (like you can view 2 Excel worksheets side by side)

  6. See a calendar of all plans in the Planner app

    I have multiple plans for a team, I'd like to see a calendar view (and list view) of all the plans, to look for conflicts.

    Currently the workaround is to create yet another plan (manually) and add all the tasks from your plans in it. But it creates conflicts (double alerts for users, you need to manage twice as many plans).

    Adding another tab "overview" could do the job perfectly

  8. Planner

    A "Notes" column for Planner please. We have a task title, but it would be useful to have a column for a short summary of the task or an assignee. So you don't have to physically open the task to see the information.

  9. Enable New Tasks from Anywhere

    Now that planner has Task Lists, can there be a button similar to create meeting that appears in channel conversation and chats to add a new task from anywhere in teams, potentially enabling you to then select if it is for a task list or a plan.

  10. Switch back and forth between Planner and Chat without losing filters

    We utilize Teams for our Chat interface and also utilize a lot of other features within our company. When there is a new chat I switch from the planner board, which I manage throughout the day, to chats and other Teams features. Each time I go back to Planner the filters are lost. Is there a way to keep the filters set?

  11. Right-click a post or chat to make it a task in To-Do or Planner

    When reading posts or chats, sometimes I need to set a flag or note for myself or my projects that this is something I need to remember to work more on.

    If I could right-click the post or chat item and choose to make it a To-Do task or a Planner Task, that would made my day better.

  12. Chart view in project planner


    1. Can we customize/filter for the view of the chart in the project planner? currently, it's automatically generated without a filter. For example, it's showing completed tasks, but as long as it's completed, our team doesn't care (we are not sales team). If we can filter to show only certain category, that would be great.


    2. Currently, it only has 4 stages of a task: not started, in progress, completed, late. But our project flow has a lot more stages, for example, "ready for review", "delivered to client for feedback", can we customize those stages ourselves and shown them in the planner?

    As for to-do, you should provide the option of planning recurring events in planner (soon to be to-do) in Teams

  14. Show start date on mobile app with planner/teams

    When using the mobile planner app or planner via the teams app it doesn't show the start date which is important if you are scheduling work between two dates and need to show the start date.

  16. On planner, make sub tasks and more options for progress

    There Should be a parent task that can have child tasks that link to its completion status. There should also be more options for progress so you can track a project at different stages.

  17. view tasks by category

    It's great that Outlook Tasks are now synced with Teams Planner, but similar to the To Do App, you cannot sort/view by category. Without categories it's just one big long list and is almost useless to me as I use categories to sort my tasks into more manageable and meaningful headings. If this functionality was added to Teams Planner it would be fantastic.

  18. Have notifications from Planner be posted on the "Posts" tab.

    This way everyone involved with completing a task and tasks with dependencies can be notified when a task needs to start and when one completes
