  1. Right click a message in Chat and select a context menu to create a task in planner

    In chat, I wish you could right click a message and see more options in the context menu. One of those options should be, create task in planner. This would effectively take that chat post and copy it into a planner task.

  2. Make it possible to copy an existing plan for a completely new project.

    Right now it is only possible to make a mirror of an existing plan, meaning that buckets and tasks will appear in all these mirrors.

    So, what we would like is to be able to create a template plan, that can copied into a new tab, and be used again and again for similar projects.

  3. Planner's management of buckets

    Need easier and quicker ways to manage the buckets by providing sort the list, manage the buckets via a list (move up/down), move more than one bucket at a time.

    in a team with more buckets than the width provides, it is hard to move a group of buckets from the end of the list to the beginning.

  5. Tag people on comments in Microsoft Planner

    It would be so practical if we could to tag people (@) in comments to call their attention into updates on tasks.
    So those people would receive an special attention email.

  6. Select and copy multiple tasks to a bucket

    Allow option to select multiple tasks that you want to copy into a new bucket. Currently, you have to do this one task at a time.

    Or just add an option to copy the entire bucket and be able to select what task you want to copy in the new bucket.

  8. Ability to print Planner tabs in Teams

    The ability to print/export the full details of a Planner tab is very needed. it makes it difficult to flow with others when the only access to the tab is live in the app.

  9. Add "My Tasks" function for Planner tabs in Team, similar to how Planner works.

    If I'm primarily using Teams, and I have many tasks spread across multiple channels, the only way to see all my tasks is to go to Planner. That is the only reason to go to Planner. It would be much more efficient if I could see my Teams-assigned Planner tasks directly in Teams.

  11. Return Board view to converged Planner Tasks in New Teams Task App

    In old version of Planner app in Teams, the default view was all my tasks were in a board view that converged all the cards from all the Plans into verticals that were based on progress. In the New Planner/Tasks app being rolled out this view is replaced with a list view with no option to change it to a board view. Please restore this option and allow users to choose their default view in the new Tasks app.

    Deleted tasks should do to recycle bin for a period of time.

  13. Second Planner Tab in Teams, does not show up in Planner

    When I create a second Planner tab in Teams, it does not appear in Planner. But I can open the tab via the link in Teams. The data from the second tab also does not appear in the Planner Dashboard. I think it's a bug.

  15. Move Planner to a different Team

    When Teams first launched in our organization, users went overboard creating teams. Now that we're finally getting our arms around Teams' governance, I need to combine teams.

    I know how to move a Planner from one tab to another in the same Team. That works great. What I can't figure out is how to move an existing Planner from one Team to another.

    Sorry if there's already an idea out there for this - I just couldn't find it without viewing hundreds of result pages.

  16. Task Gantt chart

    In the graphs tab please add a (gantt) chart timeline view of tasks that shows when they were added, started and completed. This could be organised by bucket, label, person, etc. It will enable us to see tasks that have been outstanding for a long time and also average time to complete tasks.

  17. Set default 'Group by' option

    I like to group my projects by label. Every time I leave the page it converts back to 'Group by Bucket', which is the first 'Group By' option. Allow the user to customize and set a default group option that stays that way.

  18. Unable to recover a deleted item on a Task added in Planner and No security control

    Unable to recover a deleted item on a Task added in Planner and No security control I hope this an basic functionality would be given ... How Microsoft didn't have that features, at-least to be in a Trash folder and when this feature would be in corporate. Please add it as quick as possible
