  1. Add "My Tasks" function for Planner tabs in Team, similar to how Planner works.

    If I'm primarily using Teams, and I have many tasks spread across multiple channels, the only way to see all my tasks is to go to Planner. That is the only reason to go to Planner. It would be much more efficient if I could see my Teams-assigned Planner tasks directly in Teams.

  2. Planner in Private Channel Security - Planner members match the Members of the Private Channel

    I use Private Channels to restrict each private channel to the project Team. So I need the ability to create Planners in for a Private channel but only for the members of the Private Channel, a subset of the member in the General Channel.

  4. Ability to print Planner tabs in Teams

    The ability to print/export the full details of a Planner tab is very needed. it makes it difficult to flow with others when the only access to the tab is live in the app.

  5. Right click a message in Chat and select a context menu to create a task in planner

    In chat, I wish you could right click a message and see more options in the context menu. One of those options should be, create task in planner. This would effectively take that chat post and copy it into a planner task.

  6. Second Planner Tab in Teams, does not show up in Planner

    When I create a second Planner tab in Teams, it does not appear in Planner. But I can open the tab via the link in Teams. The data from the second tab also does not appear in the Planner Dashboard. I think it's a bug.

    Be able to set specific dates to 'to do' items and/or priority levels and have some filtering options to more easily manage more complex plans/tasks

  8. Follow up date!

    There is "start date" and "finish date" but no "follow up" date. This would be EXTREMELY helpful when creating your activity to see to indicate when this needs following up. There are many cases where i create a task then do something on it, like send a mail or do some work on a document and wait for someone to review or add something on it. This is where the follow up button would be really helpful as it reminds me that i need feedback or a responds from that person. it would go without saying that a new feture…

  9. Add "Create task" action for posts in Microsoft Teams

    Add a "create task" action for posts in Microsoft Teams. For a post, when you click on the ellipsis and "More actions", the Planner "create task" action opens a card with the content of the post as the task description. The card lets you add a few other details for the task and if you save, would reply to the post with a link to the task just created.

    The card should be kept simple. Focus is on quickly capture the content of a post into a task and make it visible that a task has been created. The details…

  10. Set default 'Group by' option

    I like to group my projects by label. Every time I leave the page it converts back to 'Group by Bucket', which is the first 'Group By' option. Allow the user to customize and set a default group option that stays that way.

  12. Unable to recover a deleted item on a Task added in Planner and No security control

    Unable to recover a deleted item on a Task added in Planner and No security control I hope this an basic functionality would be given ... How Microsoft didn't have that features, at-least to be in a Trash folder and when this feature would be in corporate. Please add it as quick as possible

  13. Individual Planner Report / Extract

    Should be able to either give others access to individual planner or at least the ability to generate an export report of individual planners (that reflects tasks across all teams assigned to that person) so that a manager/team leader can view in order to manage the individuals workload.

  14. scrollbar

    The scrollbar is really hard to see - especially on wide views like Planner. In a way I could see where you were going in making it less obtrusive, but it becomes harder to find.

    Deleted tasks should do to recycle bin for a period of time.

  17. Add percentage options to progress (IE: 25%, 50%, 75%)

    I would like to see a task status in more than not started / in progress / completed. Can we add percentage to the drop down?

  18. Checklist template or duplicate from one card to the other

    It would be nice to be able to create checklist templates or duplicate check list to one card to the other one in Planner.

    As a common workflow, most task might have the same checklist from one task to the other and it is time consuming to recreate check list for each card on a board

  19. Disable moving columns in Planner with Ctrl + Left / Right Arrow

    I sue Ctrl + Arrow / Ctrl + Arrow + Shift to move / select words and it is a bit annoying to have that move a column.
    I jump / select words much more often than moving the columns around (does that even really need a keyboard short cut)

  20. Increase number of Planner categories

    Right now there is a very limited number of categories that can be set for tasks. I'd love to have the ability to increase this number, as six is not nuanced enough.
