  1. Create Default Views in Planner

    It would be nice to be able to set default views in Planner. For example, my team prefers to Group by Assignment and Filter by Today & Late. It becomes quite cumbersome to have to reset our preferences throughout the day every single time we toggle between Planner and the other Teams apps/features.

  2. Allow ability to copy the full "Bucket" of tasks in MS Planner.

    Allow ability to copy the full "Bucket" of tasks in MS Planner. Currently we can copy a task, but would love to be able to copy or duplicate a full bucket!

  3. Planner: Allow chats on tasks in planner

    Working on a planner task in Teams, I can post a comment. This comment is then sent by E-Mail to all team members and the Team's mailbox. No chat allowed on Tasks - only on the Channel. This is very much different to the logic applied in other channels in Teams.

  5. Show label colors on planner calendar

    The current planner calendar in teams does not show the task highlighted with the color of the label that it is assigned to. This only gives an all white calendar that is difficult to see items by type, priority, or if they are at risk. Example is attached.

  6. Follow Up Ability

    There should be an ability to make anything in Teams a follow up task (possibly link it to planner). If someone posts something, I want to be take that post and create a task with it for follow up. With this, similar to Outlook's summary page - I want a summary page in Teams, such as ALL current open tasks, new unread messages, etc.

  7. Support for planner charts

    It looks like in it's current "preview" form, the planner charts that show the circular "status" chart, the "members" bar chart, etc. are not present. It would be great to have these back for each plan that's being worked on. Our Teams use these quite a bit. Thanks.

  8. I need the ability to look at meeting more than 6 days into the future.

    Please allow for the viewing of more calendar days for meetings to be able to manage meetings with members.

  9. Planner tab should remember my Group by and Filter settings

    Every time I switch away from and back to the Planner tab (client app, not web), it resets to the default view with Filter (0) and Group by Bucket. I always have to apply Group by Process, and sometimes Filter by 'assigned to me', which is annoying. It would be nice if it remembered my last view settings.

  10. Move task (planner) from channel to channel

    I have a set of task in Team A>> Channel A. I would like that ability to move one or more task in the current channel to another team: Team B >> Channel B.

  11. Create Planner item from Thread

    It would be great if there was an easy way to take a thread, and turn it into an item on a Tab, such as Planner. Where we are building a 'helpdesk' team channel with our tickets pouring there (please also see my threading of connector webhook updates request) it would be great to be able to pull the threads into planner and keep track of them there. It would also be great if planner updates would then reflect back to the channel, and where the planner items being updated were created from threads, said updates would occur back in…

  12. Planner Card Background Label Color

    Right now the labels are a small little color dot on the side of a card, Trello has something similar.

    I would like to see labels that adjust the entire background color of the task card, that would make it MUCH easier to visualize the labels/categories at a glance (much like Outlook calendar could do).

    I think that would definitely be a leg up on Trello.

  13. A way to export planner

    It would be nice to have a way to export a planner bucket. Maybe to something generic, like CSV? Or something easy to interpret?

  14. Change initial tab

    Right now, the Conversation tab is the initial tab in a channel. I would like to put my Planner tab as the initial tab, so everytime I open my Channel, the first thing I see is the Planner tasks. I can only arrange the new tabs, but the Conversation, File and OneNote can not be changed nor deleted.

  15. Create task in planner from Outlook mail and calendar

    We often get mail or have appointments we want to add to Planner, using Flow we can create a Flagged mail -> Planner. But I would like a option in mail and calendar to add specifik mails or appointments direktly in a planner.


    1. Add a button in Outlook to create a task in any planner

    2. Get a card up with Description, Content of Mail, Due Date and Assign To, be able to change everything before saving.

    3. Ability to add attachments directly.

  16. Make meeting notes actionable items

    When taking notes in a meeting created in Teams, it should be possible to create Planner tasks from these notes. These tasks should be linked to from within the meeting notes.

    Meetings, meeting notes, tasks assigned during meeting, and follow-ups should be an integrated experience.

  17. Add voting to Planner

    In order to help us migrate from Trello to Planner/Teams, please could you add the option to vote for tasks in Planner.

    We use planner to capture design issues for discussion, for example, and we'd like to be allow people to vote for certain items

  20. Improved functionality for Planner comments

    Please add all the functionality of conversations to comments in Planner. I'd like to be able to @ someone to make sure they see a comment, edit or delete a comment, and I'd like to be able to change notifications (other than email) for Planner.
