  2. add ability to assign a task to a whole channel or team in planner

    Planner allows one to only assign a task to up to 11 individuals in teams. It would be useful to be able to assign a single task to a whole channel or team.

  3. Add List view of Tasks in Planner

    Add a "view" under Teams that is similar to an action registry in excel where task are row by row to be able to quickly scan task, due date, status/Comment, and label. it would is too much scrolling on the chart and board view when you in an update meeting

  5. Default Home Menu for Users (opposed to filtering)

    Have your own custom home page in planner that shows everything on your board without having to filter on your name.

  7. In the planner, in the chart view, make each column filterable seperately. Like you can do with columns in excel.

    the columns in the chart view of the planner would be much easier to use if they could be sorted/filtered by a single column. Currently, only all columns at once can be filtered.

  9. Status Change & Labelling

    Whenever the status is marked as complete, the task description gets striked off and moved to 'Completed' bucket even when we have a custom bucket. Also, it would be nice to have the color of the label as the background for the task.

  10. Ability to export tasks and subtasks from SharePoint into MS Teams Planner

    we have entire project plans in tasks in SharePoint and are now using MS teams. would like an easy what to migrate them over to Planner

    On the Planner schedule tab, you should be able to go back to previous days and see "what was done" and what comments were sent for different tasks. We want to use this as a customer delivery tracker, but, if we cannot "click" on previous days and see (for reference) what was done "last time" then... it is not too helpful

  13. Microsoft Planner display

    Display a list of the user specified colour key's. You can set colours to each action but 1) its so small no one can see it. 2) Noone remembers what each colour refers to.

    Also need to be able to colour each bucket panel as required to differentiate it from others a bit more.

  14. Planner - ability to view amount of time employees are spending on specific task

    A client we met with is looking for the ability to see an overview of where their team is spending their time in a given week.

    E.g. Joe has 3 projects that will each take 8 hours. What is he doing with the other 16 hours in a week?

  15. Automatically populate a new task at the bottom of the task list (currently populates at the top and have to drag all the way down everytime

    Saves a new task at the bottom of the task list in the bucket, instead of currently having to drag the new task to the bottom of the list every time, as we add tasks in the order they should be done.

    Inside a task, when manipulating the checklist the "Up Arrow" is misleading. It frequently confuses people who think it simply pushes that checklist entry up. the notion of promote is confusing. Perhaps it should say more. Create new task from item, might be more intuitive or maybe the Up Arrow is a less than optimal choice.

  19. Tasks grouped in Planner tab need a more intuitive layout

    Viewing tasks in the Planner channel in Teams is not user friendly. New buckets are added horizontally, requiring awkward horizontal scrolling, which is not intuitive!

    Buckets should be arrayed and scaled (within reason) on the "Tasks" tab by default, with all buckets easily visible.

    Click "Add a tab" in Teams to see how tightly the available tabs are grouped together. Buckets need a display option similar to this, with a single-click action to open the bucket and display tasks inside.
