  1. Checklist items in Planner need due dates

    Checklist items in Planner need due dates. Currently, we can only assign due dates to the whole task but there are many tasks within that need due dates or else it gets lost.

  2. Gantt Chart for Assigned Tasks for each Channel

    I would like the ability to view tasks in each channel in a Gantt chart to be able to view grouped tasks and their sequence. It would also be good to view the critical path for tasks in a channel.

  4. create planner task from email

    Ability to create planner task and/or Task comment from an email.
    have an email link on the planner or bucket.
    Also have an email link in a planner task.

    This will allow disconnected updates.

  5. Archiving Buckets in Planner tab

    when you create many buckets in Planner - for example live agenda considering each bucket is defined for different week - we need to have option to hide (close) or archive previous

  6. Move Planner to a different Team

    When Teams first launched in our organization, users went overboard creating teams. Now that we're finally getting our arms around Teams' governance, I need to combine teams.

    I know how to move a Planner from one tab to another in the same Team. That works great. What I can't figure out is how to move an existing Planner from one Team to another.

    Sorry if there's already an idea out there for this - I just couldn't find it without viewing hundreds of result pages.

  7. Add calendar (schedule view) for all 'my tasks' in planner, across all plans

    In planner, you can see all of your tasks, across all plans, but you can't see them in a calendar. In an individual plan, you can see this in 'schedule'. I understand you can accomplish this through outlook, but our team would rather stay in Teams/ planner when reviewing all open items.

  8. Progress and Status Option

    I would like the progress/status option in Planner to be customizable to where we can update and add in the type of progress/status we would like to see. Similar to how the labels you can type in the name, but would like to see this applied to the progress/status feature and this to be updated as well in the charts view.

  9. Task Gantt chart

    In the graphs tab please add a (gantt) chart timeline view of tasks that shows when they were added, started and completed. This could be organised by bucket, label, person, etc. It will enable us to see tasks that have been outstanding for a long time and also average time to complete tasks.

  10. Tasks in schedule should be visually recognizable for belonging to specific labels/buckets.

    Tasks in the schedule look all the same. At least they should be somewhat colored depending on their labels.
    In my opinion it would be great to easily tell which bucket every task belongs.
    The right column seems pointless, I expect to filter tasks selecting buckets/labels/progress, but it doesn't work this way, I think I'm missing the point of using it.

  11. Need Ability to add multiple existing Planner files to a single team.

    We have multiple planner templates we use for different aspects of projects and would like to be able to import multiple plans to the same team. Currently you can import one from template and others need to be created manually.

  12. Add the app called MindMeister, it is used for Mind Mapping (brainstorming)

    MindMeister for MS Teams is now available but I can't seem to download the app. This would be a helpful tool that could be built right into this platform.

  13. Attaching files to the planner

    Attach a document to a task in the planner from your desktop without having to attach to Sharepoint first. Drag and drop would be nice. planner in the teams App

  15. Checklist items should work like tasks

    Under a task the checklist should work like a normal task, to be more efficient. A subtask might be delegated to other workers and might need their own info and attached files etc.

  16. Sort Tasks from Planner based on subfields (i.e. Group by Bucket then by priority, etc.)

    Have a sub-field to sort tasks in Planner to help better organize buckets.

  17. Allow only assigned team member or task owner to complete tasks

    It's too common for less attentive team members to complete a task that another member was assigned.

  19. Start Date & Due Date for Checklist.

    We are using Planner for our project, and using each task as an activity, and using Checklist for sub-tasks. So, great if there are fields there for Start Date and End Date.
