  1. Planner's management of buckets

    Need easier and quicker ways to manage the buckets by providing sort the list, manage the buckets via a list (move up/down), move more than one bucket at a time.

    in a team with more buckets than the width provides, it is hard to move a group of buckets from the end of the list to the beginning.

  3. All view for planner - sort by due and assigned person

    When I look on the Planner page, I can view by All. There's not much info on there though, it would be great to sort also by persons assigned and the due dates.

  5. Tags on tasks (to identify team, project, type of tasks, priority ...)

    It could be really useful to add tags on tasks in order to search, sort, filter in a list of tasks.
    For project management, it will be easier to go from a general view to a detailed per ressource, project, customer ...
    And for everyone to list urgent tasks, from a specific project, or subject, or solution ...

  6. planner tab disappeared

    I have encountered the same issue after Teams update and a MS password change.

    Since then Planner does not appear in the Windows or browser (Edge or Chrome) instances of Teams.

    I cannot add back the Planner tab either as Planner app no longer appears in the available app list either.

    I have logged out/in and rebooted but does not rectify.

    However Planner appears OK in IOS Teams app.
    Please advise any steps I can take.

  7. Please add a text editor to Planner description, comments and checklist items

    I'd like to be able to make my description and comments more useful, and having a text editor would help that. In particular, being able to add links INLINE instead of only as attachments is key. As attachments, they lose context that can be provided in a description, comment or checklist item. And sometimes, the checklist item is simply that a specific link needs to be reviewed.

  8. Assign Task to Not memeber without add them as Member

    Why assign a task to someone add that person to team? why Microsoft do no allow add task to people that are not part of the team, that person should be able to work with the task assigned to him but not add access to all the Team. It is like in Outlook you create a task and assign it to "Genaro" and automatically "Genaro" get access to all your mail to be able to work in that task.

    We need separate permission.

  9. Would be great to have standard workflows (actions) for review, comment and approval of documents

    Would be great to have standard workflows (actions) for review, comment and approval of documents. That way you can track who has reviewed, provided comments and given their approval. This could be used for shared Word, excel, ppt., etc. The owner can freeze documents once finalized.

  10. Dashboard/Reporting for Planner

    Dashboard for planner, such as: how many overdue task, completed and ongoing; activity graph and people's active frequency.

  11. Planning across tools (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, Custom Issues)

    Coming from a GitHub + Slack user space, I had a look at Microsoft Teams. My first impression was a kind of chaotic user interface, which was not clear to use for me. However, I searched for the reason, why to use it and had a great idea, which obviously is not implemented.

    We have different sources for Issues like GitHub, GitLab, or even other tools. There are some capabilities of GitHub for example to implement a kanban board, but what I expected from Microsoft Teams was the integration of all this sources to any other tool like the Planner. …

  12. Increase number of Planner categories

    Right now there is a very limited number of categories that can be set for tasks. I'd love to have the ability to increase this number, as six is not nuanced enough.

  13. Individual Checklists in MS Planner

    I want several check lists (as much as I want) in MS Planner.
    And I want to name them as I want.

    At the moment there is only one fixed check list called "Checklist". That´s not enough.

  14. new planner action pop-up

    Add the possibility to create a action in planner without leaving the current page. For exemple, you are discussing a power BI report, and you decide to take an action, it would be great to be able to click "new action" that opens a pop-up to just create the action without leaving the report/tab you're currently looking at.

  15. Add graph possibility in Planner

    In order to be able to use Planner for board meetings, we need a graph functionality like Assembla or Trello.
    Today we can only paste it in as a picture, but we would like to be able to generate graphs based on data entered directly in Teams and shown in Planner. The actions in Planner can then we used as actions to the KPI follow-up

  16. Adding stakeholders outside of a team JUST to specific projects/tasks

    I want to add people within the company (but not within my team) to specific tasks/projects for transparency, but when I add them, they also get added to the entire team, thus seeing all the projects I have. Is there a way to do what I've described? If not, it would a great addition.

  17. creating tasks in planner for teams by drag and drop from outlook

    It would be great to create a Task out of an E-Mail from Outlook.
    Drag a mail and drop it into the planner tab should create a new task.

  18. Possibilty for meeting participants in different locations to add a room

    If two or more People are in different Locations it would be nice if a participant could add a Meeting room for him/herself. If the Organisator is seeting somewhere else, the participants have to schedule a new event with a room instead of using the existing one.

  19. Planner update - Dark Mode does not show text as white

    Thanks for the Planner update in Teams! However, the "Board, Charts, Schedule" buttons are unreadable in Dark Mode. Please adjust!
