  1. Create a list view by due date in Planner

    Create a simple one line list view by due date (task and due date) for easy viewing (preferred over the calendar, which is hard to view)

  2. Add a repeating task option for planner in teams.

    It is easy to add a task and assign to members of a team with the planner plugin but I don't see any way to make that task a recurring task such as a recurring meeting in outlook.

  4. Planner History / Snapshot

    Be able to create a snapshot / restore point for a planner file to be able to go back and look at previous states (e.g. start of every week). This should be able to be scheduled to occur automatically and post a link or chart screenshot in the channel.

  5. I want to get Planner tasks deadline notification in Teams

    I want to get Teams notification when Planner tasks deadline is approaching or late.
    Right now, We can get only Planner assignment notifications in Teams.

  6. Give substasks same options as task; and ability to see progress of task based on status of subtasks.

    Allow sub-tasks to be managed in the same way as task. I've created a Kanban board using Planner. However, 1 task can have many sub-tasks that needs to be done by different people each with its own due dates. It would be so helpful to be able to see what subtasks are completed and the overall progress of the task. E.G. TASK A due in Dec can have 15 subtasks due at various times in the year. I'd like to assign each subtask to different persons, and see the s% completion of TASK A

  7. Planner status report on task

    Need to provide a weekly status report on Planner tasks. This is going to people that will never, ever actually look at the Teams planner / project. the report needs to list all of the tasks with key details. An second report would show the full details on each task (eg page per task). Reports exported to PDF.

  8. Allow direct file attachment to Planner Tasks in TEAMS

    Provide ability to attach a document to a Planner Task from your Desktop (like you can do in a SP task).  Today, you have to upload the document into Teams first, then open your Planner Task and then attach by referencing the previously uploaded document.

  9. I want a shortcut to planner in the left pane, under activities, chat etc.

    I want to access planner straight in the left pane. Now you can open it by clicking the three dots but I want it permanently just like the calendar icon.

  10. Progress and Status Option

    I would like the progress/status option in Planner to be customizable to where we can update and add in the type of progress/status we would like to see. Similar to how the labels you can type in the name, but would like to see this applied to the progress/status feature and this to be updated as well in the charts view.

  11. Start Date & Due Date for Checklist.

    We are using Planner for our project, and using each task as an activity, and using Checklist for sub-tasks. So, great if there are fields there for Start Date and End Date.

  12. Add colour to Planner!

    Planner is great for integration with other Microsoft office tools but it falls far behind competitors with it's utter bland-ness! Having the ability to change the dull grey background as well as colour-code and add images to tasks would lift Planner's game no-end & encourage 1000's more to migrate from other platforms.

  13. Add @mentions in planner tabs

    @ mentions do not seem to work outside of the chat and channels. It would be useful to be able to tag someone directly in the Notes, Checklist and Comments of a planner card.

  15. I'd lie to be able to categorise or group my teams and provide a personnal name for them

    Some of my teams are ones that I am managing within my own department and will need to report on the activity - others are teams I am being ask to join. I would like to be able to group my teams but also be able to change the names that I see so I can quickly identify the relevance.

    Planner board does contain date, but not time. We need time in planner to be able to use this effectively.

    Ability to create planner task and/or Task comment from an email.
    have an email link on the planner or bucket.
    Also have an email link in a planner task.

    This will allow disconnected updates.

  18. Delegate Tasks in Planner like in Outlook Tasks

    I like the ability in Outlook tasks to delegate a task to someone and get notified when there are comments, progress, or it gets completed. Can we do this for Planner tasks? Our workaround is assigning ourselves to the task we are delegating, but then it can become unclear who actually needs to do the work.

  19. Task Gantt chart

    In the graphs tab please add a (gantt) chart timeline view of tasks that shows when they were added, started and completed. This could be organised by bucket, label, person, etc. It will enable us to see tasks that have been outstanding for a long time and also average time to complete tasks.

  20. Chart and Schedule for "My Tasks"

    "Charts" and "Schedules" are available in the planner in individual channels. However these are not available when trying to view all "my tasks" . So you can not see an overall schedule or progress of everything assigned to you. You have to go into each channel.
