  2. Allow owner of a team hide a channel from rest of the members or drag channel into a different team.

Allow an owner of a team hide a channel once it is finshed.
    Example:
My company has an "Advanced Program" Team; basically of all the preproduction parts. Within this team we have channels of all the different programs/customers to these parts. Once a program/customer has reached FULL production and isn't talked about in the weekly company meeting, we have no need to have the channel.
    Issue:
We do not want to delete the channel and lose all information. Nor can we drag that channel out of the "Advanced" team into the "Full Production" team.
    Solution:
    Allow an Owner to hide…

  6. Cross team channels

It would be good to have the option of creating channels that span multiple teams. This is great of matrix type organisations where you may have portfolio type teams (Marketing, IT, HR etc), but have cross team functions like Project Management. In that case we would be able to create a channel that is visible within all selected teams and members therein, while preserving other channels to be private within individual teams.

  8. Hide email addresses for users

I want to limit my employees ability to communicate with each to conversation solely available within the teams they are added too. While I have disabled the "Chat" option, each persons email address is displayed when you click on there username in a conversation. Is there away to hide users emails so they are not visible?

Background: All employees we have are remote, working in different states, making different wages, having different work loads, etc. I would prefer to limit there communication that may range on a variety of non work related topics that could potentially cause problems.

  10. Microsoft Teams Azure AD Admin Role

Create a Microsoft Teams Azure AD Admin Role for organizations to have a more task oriented Security design around the service. Basically, the Global Admin is very privileged, and the Teams services is not something that a Global Admin, in large enterprises, really needs to management. An Admin role in Azure AD would allow the service management teams for Microsoft Teams to implement settings on the Teams services directly, and create, read, update, delete existing teams. This should be possible leveraging the Microsoft Graph.

  11. Ability for Company Admins to provide a Company Guidline or Help URL for Users when they are creating a Team.

Microsoft Teams Needs the ability for Company Admins to provide a Company Guideline or Help URL when creating a Team.

The feature would be something like when an providing an admin option in the Office 365 Admin Center for the Admin to type in a Team Creation Guide Line Message and URL.

And once this is enabled then a message banner would be displayed on the create team page encouraging them to read the company guidelines before creating a team.

The guidelines itself would suggest to the user for the naming standards and when to make a channel or when…

  12. Teams Archiving PowerShell Commands

We would like functionality in PowerShell to check the archive status of a Team and also to be able to set the status.

For example as we’d like to programmatically change a Team to archived if it hasn’t been accessed in 6 months. It should also change the SharePoint site to read only for the members as it does in the Teams UI.

  14. Allow application settings to be administered via Registry / GPO or add to Tenant

Teams needs to have the capability to be managed like the rest of the O365 suite via Registry and/or GPO settings. Things like Startup at login, Start minimized to tray, suppressing the app launch splash screen, suppressing the 'install mobile app' banner, t-bot, app add-ins should all be manageable and in one place.

  15. Get-teams

The powershell module Microsoft Teams needs improvement. The Get-Teams cmdlet returns only teams that the signed in user is a member of. If a user with permission to create teams creates 500 teams / 365 groups, As an admin, I cannot see which of those is Team enabled if they're private. The ability to have global visibility in the Teams backend is essential for administration and automation.

  16. Ability to run Get-Team without Teams license assigned

To run get-team requires Teams license as per the update from MS. Please make it available without assigning Teams license. As many administrators in our customer does not have any license assigned.

  17. Add our own policy links

We would like to be able to post our own links to our legal and privacy policies and not have it go to the Microsoft ones.

Also, would be great if there would be a feature to force new users to check off that they have read the policy (like in Yammer).

  18. Disabling OneDrive within Teams Cloud Storage

I would like to be able to disable OneDrive within our Teams Cloud storage options. We do not use OneDrive and its confusing having another storage application we don't use.

  19. Configure app start-up behavior when install Teams desktop app

I want disable auto-start option after the installation of Teams desktop app.

IT Admins would like users to start using Teams app after the announcement of Teams. IT Admins are planning to install Teams app to the users' machines silently. With current behavior, Teams apps are launched automatically, and users will get confused by unknown application being launched. The customer wants to users to start Teams app on their own after IT Admins have made announcements about it.

  20. OneNote and OneDrive Integration

I would like to make a loop with all those Microsoft Products :

    -CRM Dynamics
    -OneDrive/SharePoint
    -OneNotes

To reach this out, it would be great to :

    - Allow us to open an existing and specific Notebook.
    - Allow us to open an existing and specific SharePoint folder
    - Allow us to delete or hide the file Tab on every channels to avoid confusion.

BTW , you've already done a excellent job : Thank you team =)
