  2. Yikes! Microsoft Teams Desktop loses connection

    I am having an increasing number of people get a message
    "Yikes! Looks like someone pulled the plug on the internet."

    Seems to be random on who gets the message. These users are both using Windows 7 with the latest MS Updates. They were working fine one day and then get this message the next. I have uninstalled/reinstalled. This seems to fix the issue for a short time. One user abandoned the desktop client for the web version, but the web version does not receive the same functionality with notifications.

  3. Teams window got out the monitor limit if using multiple monitors

    If Teams window is maximized on one of multiple monitors it got out the monitor limit, and you see a little part of teams window on other monitor.
    Annoying :)

  4. Screen Clipping Inserts

    Teams and Skype for Business need to have Screen Clipping as soon as possible. My team and I find this feature so helpful in Zoom.

  6. Bug: Teams restarts several times a day

    Teams restarts several times a day, it says a new update has been installed. I think something goes wrong with installing the update and then it tries the same an hour later.

    I run Teams as a standard user (non admin), maybe it doesn't have enough priveledges to successfully finish the update?

    Please fix.

  7. Fix Edit in Word/Excel - Currently not working

    When you have saved an excel/ word file in files section in teams then you click on the file and edit. The edit in word/excel online works but the edit in word/excel does nothing and does not open word/excel to edit the document. Desktop teams version is Microsoft Teams Version 1.0.00.10302 (64-bit). It was last updated on 4/21/17.

    1. show me inactive when the computer has been idle for this minutes

    2. change the status from inactive to away after this many minutes

    3. status has been changed from available to away in few minutes itself

  10. Stuck in a login loop after password change

    I recently change my system password, with MS Teams is already up and running in the background. I open Teams to check new messages, and it locks the app with the pop up "Can you please sign in again? Sorry for any inconvenience. Login Now"

    I click Login Now but all it does is restarting MS Teams and show me the same message. I am unable to re-authenticate. I've tried restarting the application, that didn't work.

    I had to right click on the systray icon to logout and re-login. I should be able to re-login when the app prompted "Login…

  11. App should start correctly when laptop not connected to internet

    Currently when logging in to the laptop without internet connection, Teams fails to start, showing error message.

  13. Don't include Teams in task switcher when closed

    When Teams is running it always appears in my task switcher (ALT+TAB), even after I have closed the window.

    Steps:
    1. Open teams and log on.
    2. Make sure your settings are to keep the application running in close.
    3. Close the window. You should no longer see Teams in your taskbar, but you should still see the Teams notification icon in the system tray.
    4. Hold the ALT key and press TAB. Keep the ALT key pressed.

    The next window in the task switcher is Teams, even though the window has been closed.

  14. Close desktop alert after clicking on the "X" button

    Currently, when I click on the "X" button of my desktop app's alert, the Microsoft Team's app opens instead of closing the alert.

    Reallyyyy annoying!

  15. Improve the Mac App

    - Can't find it in Mac App Store
    - Weird first run experience (very un-Maclike)
    - Didn't know which monitor it was on (had windows on both)
    - Ignored system level text replacements when trying to log in (I have a shortcut for my fairly long email address)
    - Non-standard UI, and not in a good "I hope this takes off" way
    - Non-standard emojis automatically used when you type keyboard ones (e.g. ;) is turned into a horrible animated winking face that looks like it is leering at me... but it also lets you insert system native ones alongside…

  16. When I have Teams open on a monitor that isn't my main monitor and then undock my laptop, I'm unable to access

    When I have Teams open on a monitor that isn't my main monitor and then undock my laptop, I'm unable to access the application as it keeps trying to open it on my other monitor which at that time isn't connected making it inaccessible.

  17. Can't shift click to move and it opens off screen when switching between work and home

    Exactly as description says, can't use the shift right click on task bar trick to move a window that opened off screen for some reason. Please fix that or make sure the title bar is on screen!!

  18. Expired password login loop

    When I change my expired password in AD, and thus Office 365, Teams Desktop app asks me to login again. The app closes, re-opens and I get the same message. Loop. Cannot get to settings through normal method. Had to use the system tray icon to access settings to log out.

  19. Literally copy slack, and stop trying to reinvent what someone else already perfected.

    This is seriously the worst chat app I've ever used, including the 4 or 5 apps that Google makes.

  20. Make real time syncing with web from desktop app

    I have experienced issues with desktop app syncing immediately with web app or not syncing at all so when I am trying to work from my desktop app users of the web app aren't seeing the latest or sometimes don't even see a new channel i created, for example.
