When you click on a Team, it would be nice if you got a dashboard for the team / landing page instead of going directly to the "general" channel.
This would be a great place to roll-up information for activity in the team:
- recent conversations (from all channels within the team)
- recent or all documents (similar to the OneDrive landing page, but scoped to the Team
- membership list
- pinned content
- static content (to post general team information)34 votes
We are implementing AppLocker to block ALL EXEs from running from other locations other than Windows and Program Files. We know we could make an exception, however it is still a vulnerability as users can still alter data in the appdata. In addition, for every user it will have an individual install. I understand the ease of use and profile based configuration that Teams is geared towards, however we would like BOTH options for enterprise and education environments.34 votes
Running a "stateless virtual desktops", has enabled our company of 5,000 staff to operate with 15 desktop support staff, which represents operational efficiency, cost saves, consistent patching and a consistent experience. Teams will not run in this environment because we can't App-V it and it gets installed in local data which is destroyed at logoff. We have a portfolio of 400 unique apps and Teams is the first which will not work and therefore cannot be deployed. Please make this enterprise ready...34 votes
Teams automatically takes proxy configuration from browser and we want to change the configurations like in skype for consumer.34 votes
See MSTCommunity request here -
Even though autostart can be prevented upon installation a single time (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployoffice/teams-install) and then turned off manually within the desktop client, there is a need by some businesses to ensure that the Desktop client does not auto-start at any time and yet be able to enable this programmatically via TAC/Group Policy without having to jump in users desktop client to turn it off.33 votes
Allow you to share your desktop without being in a meeting. Skype allows you to share your desktop at anytime. Why do you have to create a meeting to allow the desktop to be shared.31 votes
Your desktop version is too slow and consume a lot memory and drag my system31 votes
Could you please add the screen share without a audio/video call just like Lync in Teams? And screen capture is much useful in these instant message tools.31 votes
Allow the layout to be changed vs the fixed layout.
Even on large displays the layout takes up too much space and much of it is wasted space.
The navigation tool for the Wiki needs to be able to have a push pin in it so it can stay open so you can navigate without an extra click to open in back up.31 votes
I want to know if Teams will have the ability to remote shared desktop with out the need of video or voice call ?30 votes
Seems like whenever Teams does an auto-update, a shortcut is always put on my desktop.
Stop. Doing. This.30 votes
If Teams window is maximized on one of multiple monitors it got out the monitor limit, and you see a little part of teams window on other monitor.
Annoying :)30 votes
It would be nice to be able to do live markups of PDFs in Teams channel and/or file areas.
This would introduce an amazing advantage for a project team working in Teams.28 votes
When I use TEAMs from my desktop it always freezes.
It’s not the computer, it’s been checked. It happens to my teammates as well.27 votes
Desktop Microsoft Teams is, well, basically useless. It is the slowest app I use on any PC. It needs either some MAJOR performance improvements or a complete re-write as a Native app so that it runs fast on PCs.
Come on guys, you can do better than this!26 votes
We need the ability to quickly indicate do not disturb for phone calls in teams. Its obnoxious to have spammers interrupt my teams audio calls with the phone ringing.26 votes
Please add a "Paste as plain text" option to the right-click menu in all text areas in the Teams desktop client that accept formatted text.25 votes

This utility is for make a record from Desktop and voice, and share in a Channel.
My users prefer to use Loom software and this is a unsecure way.
The ideal utility can be:
1. Start a new recorder
2. Save the record in Stream channel vinculated with the Team/channel
3. Share the llink in the channel and also allow to watch the video directly from teams.
What you think?
Teams seems to use the JPEG format for all images pasted into it, regardless of the size. This format makes pictures such as screenshots look absolutely horrible, with artefacts going rampant around any text or other sharp edges. A lossless PNG format would be more suited for the task.24 votes
