  1. Add User Current Timezone as Part of Status

    With team members traveling and often located across the world, it would be great to have an indicator of what timezone they are currently located in. Ideally, this would be based on their geographical location. If MSFT tracks this via internet connect or some other means, it would be great to display it as part of status or when hovering over the name/icon.

  3. Chat

    All the chats that I had added to my Favorites disappeared after I came back from vacation. Presumably, this is because chats are auto-hidden after an expiration time of some kind? I was able to find the chats by searching for the people.

    My suggestion is to persist the chats indefinitely in the Favorites list by default. And let the user decide whether they want to Hide the chat or remove it from the Favorites list.

  4. Displaying Wrong Presence in SFB when Logging in Teams . Though the user is offline it shows as Available

    When you are using Teams along with SFB ... It shows wrong presence in SFB. When you are Sign out from the SFB it still shows as Available in SFB.

  5. Allowing Planner Access / Sync With member Who Aren't Part Of The Team

    Hi all.

    Is there a way to share/engage with an employee within the business around a task created in the planner tab without necessarily adding that person to the team or channel in which the task was created?

    For example, I am in Marketing so obviously part of the Marketing team. I am creating a design for a magazine advert for someone in the HR team. I don't really want them as part of my Marketing team or design channel within the Marketing team as they may get confused and bombarded with stuff they need not see. However, at task…

  6. Lag In Presence/Status Update

    The presence update is laggy, even in very simple scenarios. I made a call which changed me to "On a Call", then hung up. It took about a minute after the call for my icon to change back to Available. Strangely, I could see the correct status if I pulled up my profile.

  7. You must be able to remove everything in the conversation.

    You must be able to remove everything in the conversation. To show that you delete and add names in the TEAMS group do not fill in any function. Then you must also be able to change the Welcome picture.

  8. Directory Lookup must have same behavior as Skype

    Today when you search for one person on search bar at TEAMS, it's looking for messages.
    If the user is already known user , TEAMS shows correctly. If not, we need click persons tab to get person we are looking for.

    On Skype, we get all users from Global Directory and we can see all users corresponding the lookup and immediately the presence of these persons is available.

    On Teams, serach is complicate and presence information is also complicate to get as we need to click on the person and then we can get presence information.

  9. Allow to permanently hide the "out of office" banner

    Everytime someone changes his status to Away in calendar (holidays...), this banner appears in each conversation where this person is. The banner appears automatically few seconds after having selected the conversation, even if it as been closed earlier. It's really boring... Please allow to remove this banner until next unavailability of this person. Thanks

  11. Go offline without logging out

    I want to be able to set both the desktop and mobile apps to show me as offline but don’t leave me in a state where in need to fully authenticate again. I don’t want people to think I’m avIlable for chat if I’m actually off work. At least S4B remembered my credentials when I signed out go offline; Teams requires several steps to re-login with the same creds I used last time.

  12. Remove "status unknown" or add time like with away or offline

    Sometimes status is shown as status unknown instead of offline, not sure exactly what it means but judging from what I've seen it could just mean the user is offline.

    Ideally I think this status should be removed since either Teams has contact with the user and can determine the status or contact can not be established and then the user is offline (a status which you have).

    If it for some reason can not be removed then I think you should at least change it so that you can see time since last activity. The same way as with…

  13. Show Status Time on hover

    When you open a chat with someone who is away and hover on over thier picture in the chat pane it will say something like "12m ago" for when they were last active. However, when you hover over the same profile picture in your chat list in the left pane, it just says "Away". Please add the time away on that hover as well.

    It would be nice if there was an option to show the away time without hovering over the user like Skype For business's contact list that shows "<name> - Away 22m ago"

  14. switch status from taskbar

    I want to change my status from the taskbar.
    I now can only see my current status when I right klick the icon in the taskbar. Would be nice to be able to switch status right in that context menu without having to start teams just for that

  15. I was looking for a way to find online status of our employees. We use this for the receptionist to see who is available for calls / questi

    We used Skype for our receptionist(s) convenience.
    We look at who is online at their desk - who is marked away (lunch, breaks and so on. I am not sure this product is what we need to use it for. We keep all of our co-workers on a visible contact list it shows their on line status. That way we don't have to chase around the office trying to find someone. Any suggestions

  17. Group Teams

    I have one team created in outlook teams, but this team does not appear in the Microsoft Teams, but if i create it in Microsoft Teams it will create it in outlook teams.

  18. As a user I would like to have a way to visually indicate that I have something to add to the conversation.

    One of the difficult things about teleconferencing is that everyone is trying to jump in on each-other every-time the person talking takes a breath. This is because there is no visual ques that indicate that a person has something to contribute.

    I think it would be a small but significant improvement to have a "raise your hand" like option where I can click on my own avatar and it will highlight my square in a color (like green) indicating to the current person talking that I have a followup question or idea

    I should be able to remove/kick someone from a group I created. I'm only able to do that in teams.

  20. Have status on teams the same as SFB, including offline time

    When on SFB you can see how long someone is offline for, this service on teams would be brilliant as you could see at a glance if someone is actively using teams.
