  1. Chat

    All the chats that I had added to my Favorites disappeared after I came back from vacation. Presumably, this is because chats are auto-hidden after an expiration time of some kind? I was able to find the chats by searching for the people.

    My suggestion is to persist the chats indefinitely in the Favorites list by default. And let the user decide whether they want to Hide the chat or remove it from the Favorites list.

  3. Display who has read a message on a channel or private chat

    Many collaboration tools, such as WebEx Teams, display an icon for the people that have read a message on a Team chat (channel) or private messages.

    It helps people know that your message has been read.

  4. Sort/Group contacts by presence

    When you have a list of contacts, it would be great to be able to group them by who is available, who is offline etc. At the moment it is hard to see who is available just by their different coloured icons.

  5. Different status color when user is busy/in meeting while different when in call

    Different status color when user is busy/in meeting while different when in call - It will help decide if user to be called directly (as of now it is not clear from status if user should be called)

  6. Ability to add groups within groups under contacts.

    Many times we have different departments within our company that could be saved as a group under contacts. However my contacts in one group could have vastly different work. Person X in Group1 could be much better to ask about Product Z than person Y might be.

    If I could add a group within another group me and my colleagues could avoid fracturing our contact list so massively and make it way more effective. The main group could be named "Department 1" and the subgroup within the main group could be "Product Z"

  7. Org Chart Improvement

    High Priority:
    - Allow full expanded view of entire company
    - Expand multiple teams simultaneously
    - Better view of subordinates on any Manager's card (could be as simple as a number on the card)

    Nice to Have:
    - Allow users to fill in the Org Chart themselves in Teams directly (approval requests sent to IT Admin)
    - Allow users to upload different profile images for chart
    - Provide user profiles to learn more about each member of the org

       - Profile would include the employee's location, Teams/departments they are apart of, how long they've been at the company, skills, interests,

    Create a custom group tag that only has certain members of the team to quickly get the same peoples attention

  9. Have a read to badge for all teammates that have read a conversation. As well as show which user is typing.

    Being able to see if a user is typing or has seen a certain conversation in a channel would be really handy. When team members don't respond I'd like to know if they at least saw the conversation to that point to know if I need to reach out to them again or not.

  10. Like Backgrounds, have customizable banner in the Foreground, where you can have your contact and company information

    We have many Sales people using Teams now, and when they interact with customers, it would look more professional if we could put a customizable banner in front of them with the company logo, their name and contact info, similar to what you see when someone is broadcasting the news. We can put it on a background today, but all lettering in the backgrounds always have a slightly blurry appearance on Teams.

    In the example attached, we have a background on the left, with our salesperson using the space on the right, and would like the banner and the company…

  11. Move cursor to text box upon clicking "Create a new contact group" or "Add a contact to this group"

    When I try to Create a new contact group, or add a contact to a contact group, i generally expect to click that option, then immediately type in the name. Instead, I then need to click inside the text box before typing. This is a bit annoying since I'm trying to add a bunch of contacts to various groups. I'm working in the Windows 10 application

    現在の Teams の機能では、チャットの連絡先に一人ずつメンバーを追加することはできるが、個々で操作をする必要があるため、手間がかかる。
    そのため、Office 365 で作成したグループのメンバーを一括で追加する機能や管理者が連絡先を一元管理する機能を要望します。

    It takes time and effort to add members to chat contact information one by one.

    For improvement of usability, provide the ability to bulk add multiple members in a group created in Office 365. Or allow admins to manage contact information centrally.

    Add the support for getting a full list of session details via the "Get-CsUserSession" Powershell command like it is currently available for "Skype for Business Online".

    Ability to search for people within teams by Title as well as Name. This was possible is Skype.

  16. Add a "Buddy List"

    Many/most of the chat clients I have used over the years have the option to add people to a personalized "buddy list" (it has different names, but pretty much the same functionality). This is NOT the same as a Team. These are people you want to have frequent conversations with, but may not work on the same things you do on a regular basis. For instance, the administrative assistant is not going to be on the Team for various projects, but we still need to get in touch with her frequently.

    Teams is used by many organisation. A new status "In Meeting" will be very beneficial, if someone is going to attend the meeting.
