disable offline messages
Would be nice to be able to disable the ability for people to message/IM you if you're offline! That's what email is for.

Add presence to Teams desktop search.
When searching for users on Teams in the desktop client it does not show the presence of the user until you click on their name and a chat is opened.

Reset Status
Where is the "Reset Status" option? When I go on DND, then I come back, how should I handle my status? This was straightforward in Skype for business with Reset Status.

Make my status private
I should be able to control what status I want displayed, including no status at all. I consider it a violation of my privacy that I can’t decline to display a status

Seen by...
It would be awesome to see who has seen a post, possibly by simply showing that on the post for everyone to see or a bitton (like ”like”) that only states that avspecific person has seen this post or comment.

switch status from taskbar
I want to change my status from the taskbar.
I now can only see my current status when I right klick the icon in the taskbar. Would be nice to be able to switch status right in that context menu without having to start teams just for thatBR

Add Option to Display Status in Contacts List
In the settings, add an option which causes Status text to display adjacent to or beneath (maybe both) the name and picture of a Contact in your Favorites.

List of attendees/non-attendees
I love the ability to get a structure for the meeting in OneNote (list of attendees, link to meeting, etc) BUT would be great to have here who actually attended and who did not. Right now we have to go through the list and work out who attended/didn't attend. Would be fantastic if Teams/OneNote could do this for us.

Teams and Skype for Business Don't Communicate Status / Presence
My status / presence (Available, In a Meeting, Presenting, Away, Offline, etc.) does not sync between Skype for Business and Teams. Overall, this is cumbersome when I want to manually change my status, as I have to change it in two places.
Furthermore, this is especially problematic with the "Presenting" and "Do Not Disturb" statuses. When I am sharing my screen in Teams, the "Presenting" / "Do Not Disturb" status is not conveyed to Skype (and vice versa), so pings from Skype will pop up when I am sharing my screen in Teams. This is incredibly disruptive to the audience…

Button for scheduling a meeting from a contact card
Just as with Skype for Business, when you hover or right click a contact in Chat, you have a "Schedule a Meeting" option. In Teams, this is not replicated. You have to go to meetings to schedule with that person whose contact card you were just looking at.

Link contact groups from Outlook to Teams
Ensure that contact groups that have been created in Outlook are visible / can be used in Teams. Now I have to re-create certain groups in teams and instead would just like to copy from Outlook

Hide offline contacts
I miss the functionality of Skype where you can hide all contacts that are not online. The skype groups are much cleaner and consists only of my online contacts. The rest are either away or offline. This function is a must in Teams or else the groups will be cluttered with all the different statuses mixed. You can't get a good overview.

Disable pop-up notifications in Do Not Disturb mode
I would like to disable pop-up notifications while I set Do Not Disturb mode, so that I can focus better without distraction from other users, exactly as it used to be with S4B.

Auto-reply based on status similar to, or integrated with, outlook
Please add the ability to manage an auto reply based on status to alert others that you are away or set to do not disturb.
similar things for comparison:
-In outlook you can control auto replies
-in outlook if you are emailing someone with an auto-reply enabled, it alerts you that you are sending a message to someone who is away34 votes -
Different status color when user is busy/in meeting while different when in call
Different status color when user is busy/in meeting while different when in call - It will help decide if user to be called directly (as of now it is not clear from status if user should be called)

Org Chart Improvement
High Priority:
- Allow full expanded view of entire company
- Expand multiple teams simultaneously
- Better view of subordinates on any Manager's card (could be as simple as a number on the card)Nice to Have:
- Allow users to fill in the Org Chart themselves in Teams directly (approval requests sent to IT Admin)
- Allow users to upload different profile images for chart
- Provide user profiles to learn more about each member of the org
…- Profile would include the employee's location, Teams/departments they are apart of, how long they've been at the company, skills, interests,

Presence across Tenants
Have presence across tenants. I am working with some users in one Teams site in one tenant but when I return to mine they cannot see my presence. Presence should be across tenant or configurable to be like that. Thanks

show it user status is on mobile
It would be great to see a status/presence of when a user is signed in only on their mobile. It helps other users to realize if the person they are contacting may have a delay in responding because they may not see the details on their mobile (perhaps they are driving).
