  1. Knowing who is online/available at a glance.

    I can't see the status of all our users at one time in Teams. Skype was a management tool you took away without warning, replacing it with a tool that does not offer the same functionality. I am a small business owner, happy with the functionality we had.Why couldn't Microsoft anticipate a need for this feature (aren't all the features of their software documented?) and make sure it was in Teams before they forced us to switch? Why does Microsoft constantly force their users to do whatever they want, rather than allowing the users to do what they want? It's…

  2. Tags = first name, last name

    Simply, when you tag people, it should be first name then last name. You call people by their first name right? Hey “Bill” can you help me out? Not - hey Gates, Bill can you help me out?

  3. More status options, custom status, and Out of Office

    MORE STATUS
    I like the status options in S4B, and so does my boss. It will be important to my boss before accepting the use of MS Teams widely to have a broader range of statuses. Missing statuses are:
    * In a meeting
    * In a conference call
    * In a call
    * Presenting
    * Be right back
    * Off Work

    Particularly of importance are "Be right back" and "off work". "Do not disturb" is probably sufficient for "in a meeting", "in a call" and "presenting". But, it sure is nice that S4B auto-detects those three statuses (for the most…

  4. Teammanager-View on Calendars of Teammembers

    We would need an overview of a list of team members in the form of a spreadsheet display where I can see the availability of team member on a daily, weeky or monthly basis. It would be perfect if we could set the minimum absence length of a meeting or so that would be displayed in the overview. For example: show only meeting / absences longer than 2 hours. Adding users could be based on groups and / or add / remove individual users. Display-color of the absence could be selected on the type of absence in the users calendar.

  5. Restriction on participants in a chat group !!

    Hello Team, Recently we moved from CISCO Jabber to MS Teams and 1 restriction we found here is that in a chat group, the maximum number of participants is restricted to 50. For any organization (atleast here), we have more than 50 people who are needed to be in a chat group and not channels, as that is separate option. I would suggest to increase that number to a significant number as this is used at enterprise level where we can have more than 50 people working and required in the chat group.

    Also, if a chat is needed to…

  6. Quick Access to another person's calendar

    Would be great if there were a way in teams to quickly view another person's calendar. Initial goal is to understand the person's next available time. It should initially present a the person's Calendar "Day View" as is the case for one's own calendar.
    I'm sure there would be other use cases for this as well.
    The attached screen print shows a mockup of the Contact Card form and how the access point/button could be located/placed.

  7. Quickly setting status without bringing the app into focus

    It would be nice to be able to quickly set your status by right clicking on the icon in the taskbar without bringing the application into focus

    a) to set a own nickname, which could be displayed when people hover over my icon

    OR

    b) allow me to set individual nicknames (=additional data, remarks) for a contact and show that when I hover of them

    OR

  9. reputation

    I would like to be able to enable in a specific channel a reputation system.
    When a person anwer a question, others should be able to:
    - Upvote the answer
    - Mark the answer as accepted (this should be shown at the top)
    - Downvote an anser

    All of this actions should build up a scoring system and the users more active shoul be rewarded with badges or other visual indicators. This will help people to get engaged and help colleagues.

    This is only part of what I would really like to have in teams, a system like stack overflow,…

  10. Enable the 'PublishLastActive' Parameter so that LastActive Property can be disabled.

    This was available in Skype for Business:
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2684128/how-to-remove-the-lastactive-attribute-from-the-aggregation-state-cate

    - Last Active presence information may be incorrectly interpreted as reflecting the actual user's status at work. Therefore, users may rely on it to remotely monitor an employee's activity. However, this behavior is not enabled in some countries.
    - Last Active presence information that's provided to users should not disclose how long a user is away or offline for business reasons.

  13. Reset Status

    Where is the "Reset Status" option? When I go on DND, then I come back, how should I handle my status? This was straightforward in Skype for business with Reset Status.

  14. Button for scheduling a meeting from a contact card

    Just as with Skype for Business, when you hover or right click a contact in Chat, you have a "Schedule a Meeting" option. In Teams, this is not replicated. You have to go to meetings to schedule with that person whose contact card you were just looking at.

  16. Add the status for "Off work."

    The "off work" status was available in Skype for Business. This helps a leader identify which team members are temporarily out of office - "Away" status vs. which are gone for the day "Off work."

  17. a timeline view posibility of all chats is missing, it is just the last person not the last chat

    Make a functionality to see chats in Team in a true timeline of chats itself not just the last new person. Meaning when using multiple chats with different persons there is no timeline it is just sorted per person. It would be better to have a real timeline of chats and close old chats automatically if not used for a period of time.

  19. Feature that admins can check the presences for all members

    We would like to utilize Teams for checking employee’s attendances in our org.
    So, it would be great if we could have a feature that admins can check every members’ presence from the admin center.
