  1. Mutliple numbers on a user, auto-attendant or call queue

    It would be great if we could have an Auto-Attendant that has more than 1 number assigned to it. Most organizations advertise or have advertised multiple numbers in their history. It's unacceptable that I can only have 1 number route to an AA or Call Queue or user. In another phone system we support, a user or AA can have a main Direct Inward Dial number and 10 alternate DID's.

  2. Caller id policy to forward to external number

    Please allow us to forward all incoming voice calls to an external number (a number not in Microsoft). This would only be for calls coming in that are calling a voice phone number...we want those calls to be directed to our company's current 1 800 number instead of reaching the specific user the voice number is assigned to.

  3. About call groups

    Currently, creating a call group requires user interaction from the client.

    Functions created by the administrator in advance should be implemented.

  4. Add working hours to Teams Calls

    Add options for working hours for Teams and calling so that your client/soft phone calls would go to vm if not during working hours.

    Or at a min an option to fwd all calls to vm.

  6. Report on attendees post call

    We want to know, how many people attended the call once it has finished in Teams. We had this is Skype for Business but not available in Teams Application

  7. I hang up on mobile and desktop doesn't hang up

    Both desktop and mobile apps concurrently call, if I pickup the mobile app version, then carry out the call, and then hang up on mobile - desktop call stays open

  8. Route Call Progress Tone (Ringback) To Same Device As Call Audio

    Call progress tones should NOT be routed to speakers when call audio is routed to a headset: this is EXTREMELY disruptive to working environments and UNFORGIVABLY RUDE to co-workers of anyone making an outgoing call!!!!!

    Incoming ring, on the other hand, should be configurable to ring headset ("Default Communications Device"), speakers ("Default Audio Device") or both.

    How, when this device distinction has been present AT LEAST SINCE WINDOWS 2000, are application developers STILL getting this wrong?

  9. Set Personal/Away Hours

    A few people in the organization, would like to have their teams to ring during business hours only, instead of every hour of the day. People are not going to remember all the time to forward their numbers to voicemail when they're gone for the day and a few people from our office have been woken up in the early hours of the morning by customers.

  10. No way to export a report containing time spent in voice or conferences by user

    We need to be able to export a report containing detailed voice minutes and video conference durations per user. Right now, when I click on a user to view their voice and conference details, there is no way to export the data. Additionally, team leads have requested that these reports be delivered on a schedule, and there is currently no way to get the data out of the lovely graph on the screen.

    Support of Reverse Number lookup also with Exchange OnPremise

    In our Tenant, we have activated Direct Routing and connected the gateway cce.r-it.at and are currently thinking about using of MS-Team as a landline phone. In our test scenarios, we noticed that no names are displayed on the Teams-Client, although these are signaled via SIP to the Teams-phone-system and could also be resolved in the Active Directory. According to your Dennis Langer, this is because we are using Exchange OnPremise and the “Reverse Number Lookup” does not work. We will have low user acceptance for MS-Teams as a land line phone…

  12. Enable the ability to use non-service numbers with cscallinglineidentity

    Currently only service numbers can be used for callinglineidentity even though we now have the ability to use onprem/non-ms numbers for direct routing to a queue/autoattendant. In several isntances I have departmental numbers that need to be used for CallerID masking but are not in an autoattendant or call queue.

  13. Teams test Call should include Video and Latency Test

    The current Test Call solution does not accounts for Video or Screen Sharing.
    A real test call example should account that the user might need to share screen or video during the call. Voice only is not sufficient.
    We have seen many times were Voice alone is enough, but when enabling Video the voice will start breaking up.

  14. Support 4K Webcams

    Currently Teams tops out at 1080p resolutions for Webcameras. One thing I have done on a regular basis is use a 4K Webcamera (such as Logitech Brio) and point it at a whiteboard so I can collaborate with remote colleagues in a whiteboarding session.

    Other competitor tools (that shall remain nameless), support full 4K resolutions (bandwidth permitting), there is a clear and noticeable difference in the resolution and ability to conduct such whiteboarding sessions in Microsoft Teams.

  15. speed dial

    As far as I can tell, dialing from the "Speed Dial" cards only enables calling the recipient through Teams, not a different phone (mobile, work, etc.). Understand this can be done through the Contacts section, but having to go there defeats the purpose of the Speed Dial cards. Skype has similar functionality - when you click the "phone" button you have the choice of number/method.

  16. Copy and paste DTMF tones into the in-call keypad

    You cannot copy and paste a text string of numbers (or letters) and paste them into the in-call keypad to be converted to DTMF tones in Teams, as you could in Skype for Business. This is particularly important when using Teams calling to dial into a 3rd party dial-in conferencing service, and having to enter a meeting ID. Currently this must be re-typed into the Teams DTMF keypad, which is a clunky user experience.

  17. Notification of incoming call from PSTN on Edge browser is bad design

    Notification of incoming call from PSTN on Edge browser is differenet from other notification. Its background color is same as accept button's background and there is no profile icon.

    The below notifications is same design and its design is good, but only notification of incoming call from PSTN on Edge browser is different and I think its design is bad.
    - Notification of incoming call from PSTN/not-PSTN on Teams desktop app
    - Notification of incoming call from non-PSTN on Edge browser

  18. Call by clicking non-E.164 telephone number in Outlook contact

    It is possible to make a call by clicking phone number on Outlook contact, but in some case, for example the phone number is extension number on their own PBX system, it isn't possible to make a call. I want to make a call by clicking telephone number on Outlook contact regardless of format of telephone number.

    for example:
    Phone number on Outlook contact : +81 3 1234 6789
    Phone number on Teams client : +81 3 1234 6789
    ---> It is possible to make a call

    Phone number on Outlook contact : 6789
    Phone number on Teams client :…

  19. Freely Switching Between Screens When Screensharing

    Looking for the ability in screen sharing where you can freely switch between screens without having to manually go back into the video call and switch screens. There is a big lag time and it interrupts your though process when explaining things over video call. Let me know if there's a way around this!

  20. Camera preference

    I request to be able to select which camera to give preference in the group calls, that is ...

    If I have a group call of 3 people, I can select which camera is full screen, because the AI ​​of the camera sometimes annoys.
