  1. Settings for incoming calls linked to business hours and holidays

    With Teams clients, you can configure voicemail.
    You can also set up out-of-office guidance.
    However, this setting only works when there is no response.
    You can also transfer to voicemail manually, but it takes time.

    Please make the following settings. This must be done for each user.

    ・ Do not receive calls outside business hours. Play guidance outside business hours.
    ・ Do not receive calls on holidays.

  2. Allow static conference id's when using Microsoft Audio

    We are using Microsoft Audio in conjunction with MS Teams. Users are requesting to be able to have static Conference ID's rather than Dynamic.

  3. Select Alternate Number in Speed Dial

    If a contact has multiple numbers and they are added to Speed Dial, you can only call their "main" number from Speed Dial. In order to call the other number form speed dial you have to add that 2nd number as a whole new contact and add that new contact to your speed dial. It would be nice to click the 3 dots in a speed dial contact and be able to call the other number associated with that contact from Speed Dial.

  4. Support RCS (Rich Communication Services), SMS and MMS

    Jump to the front of the queue and support RCS when adding SMS/MMS support to Teams Phone.

    Personally I can get around the lack of SMS support in Teams, but that would cause other issues. I need one communication/phone system that handles both voice and SMS.

  5. Add working hours to Teams Calls

    Add options for working hours for Teams and calling so that your client/soft phone calls would go to vm if not during working hours.

    Or at a min an option to fwd all calls to vm.

  6. Subtle secondary ringer when already on a call

    When on a call. If a second call comes on, the ringtone drowns out the current call.

    Make the second call ringtone more subtle, similar to how it works on a mobile/cell phone.

  7. Type name in dial pad

    Typing a name in the dial pad doesn't bring up the corresponding contact's phone number to call. Teams just calls the numbers associated with the letters you typed.

  8. I hang up on mobile and desktop doesn't hang up

    Both desktop and mobile apps concurrently call, if I pickup the mobile app version, then carry out the call, and then hang up on mobile - desktop call stays open

  9. Sync speed dial groups and Users from O365 company Directory

    make speed dial groups and users sync from office 365.
    Manage these groups and contacts centrally instead of individually

  10. Teams test Call should include Video and Latency Test

    The current Test Call solution does not accounts for Video or Screen Sharing.
    A real test call example should account that the user might need to share screen or video during the call. Voice only is not sufficient.
    We have seen many times were Voice alone is enough, but when enabling Video the voice will start breaking up.

  11. Support 4K Webcams

    Currently Teams tops out at 1080p resolutions for Webcameras. One thing I have done on a regular basis is use a 4K Webcamera (such as Logitech Brio) and point it at a whiteboard so I can collaborate with remote colleagues in a whiteboarding session.

    Other competitor tools (that shall remain nameless), support full 4K resolutions (bandwidth permitting), there is a clear and noticeable difference in the resolution and ability to conduct such whiteboarding sessions in Microsoft Teams.

  12. Button to stop incoming calls on mobile

    Many times when i get a call mobile teams app get ring but not desktop. So give an option to stop getting incoming calls on mobile

  13. speed dial

    As far as I can tell, dialing from the "Speed Dial" cards only enables calling the recipient through Teams, not a different phone (mobile, work, etc.). Understand this can be done through the Contacts section, but having to go there defeats the purpose of the Speed Dial cards. Skype has similar functionality - when you click the "phone" button you have the choice of number/method.

  14. Reject call with message option should be available

    There should be an option during an incoming call to reject it with a template and customized messages like "I am in a meeting, will call you soon" or more of these so that caller should be aware of the situation of the receiver.

  15. Make the Teams 'Calls' UI more like a cell phone screen

    Make the Teams 'Calls' UI more like a cell phone.
    My company has started using teams and almost everybody (well everyone I have called, and I do it too) hits the 'hang up' icon rather than the 'answer' icon. The correct icon to hit to answer the call is counter intuitive.

  16. Bring back the phone app

    The current Teams interface is a mess of options that looks like a committee threw a bunch of ideas on a whiteboard. This means making or answering a phone call (or video call), is a cumbersome, unfriendly task. Please bring back a separate phone app that operate independently to Teams but connects in when appropriate. The all in one approach you currently have to your user interface is driving me mad. ?

  17. Freely Switching Between Screens When Screensharing

    Looking for the ability in screen sharing where you can freely switch between screens without having to manually go back into the video call and switch screens. There is a big lag time and it interrupts your though process when explaining things over video call. Let me know if there's a way around this!

  18. Transferring calls using Skype for Business

    Skype for Business had more capabilities prior to moving to Teams. I no longer have the option to transfer a call like i did when Skype for business was not part of Teams.

  19. How can you have local phone numbers for El Savlador, Costa Rica and not for Guatemala????

    When referring to local phone numbers to use to join a conference call inTeams, there are local numbers listed for El Salvador and Costa Rica but there are no local numbers for Guatemala. Guatemala is the biggest economy in central america so it should definitely be included as local numbers.

    Besides we are establishing a SSC in Guatemala and it is extremely obstaculizing not to have local phone numbers.
