  2. Call by clicking non-E.164 telephone number in Outlook contact

    It is possible to make a call by clicking phone number on Outlook contact, but in some case, for example the phone number is extension number on their own PBX system, it isn't possible to make a call. I want to make a call by clicking telephone number on Outlook contact regardless of format of telephone number.

    for example:
    Phone number on Outlook contact : +81 3 1234 6789
    Phone number on Teams client : +81 3 1234 6789
    ---> It is possible to make a call

    Phone number on Outlook contact : 6789
    Phone number on Teams client :…

  4. Press keyboard enter on dial pad to send #

    When using the dial pad in Skype we were able to press enter on our keyboard to send # (i.e. entering a conference ID). This doesn't work in Teams.

  5. Teams AutoAttendant DTMF Timeout

    Add Option to choose an user in Organisation / voice app if DTMF is the only option enabled in AutoAttendant and Caller do not press anything….. actually caller hears option-menue endless….. it would be nice that an DTMF-"Fallback" Timer can be configured and Fallback number can be configured (user in Organisation / voice app or operator)

  6. We need Time (Date & Time) in Calling History

    It's extremely difficult to know at what time of the day a call was made if there isn't a timestamp to it

  8. call hand off between devices

    add the capability to hand off video and audio calls between devices.
    lets say you are late back to your desk so you join a meeting or answer a Teams call using your mobile. when you get back to your desk you should be able to and the session on the mobile and continue on your PC.

  9. call quality alerting

    For both Teams and Skype we need the ability to generate automated alerts if the call quality drops below pre-defined thresholds. This should provide an insights that might help isolate root cause so action can be taken as appropriate.

  10. peer to peer calling chrome error message

    As mentioned in case number 14276459

    When you make a peer to peer call in chrome the error message states to use edge or chrome or download the app. Problem is users are in chrome and the error message says to use chrome. So people call for support thinking it is an issue on their computer that we can resolve.
    If the error message could better inform the user to use edge or the app for peer to peer calling that would be great.

  11. Cellular call option

    Please add a ring-out option to the Teams mobile app when WiFi is unavailable (i.e., outgoing calls are dialed over cellular networks, not data networks).

    This will prevent excessive data usage when in an area where WiFi is unavailable.

  12. Echo cancellation

    Teams needs echo cancellation options. Some microphones are sensitive and pick up speaker noise, causing speakers to hear voice feedback. Other noteworthy competing products have echo cancellation features.

  13. Turn off video when the workstation is locked

    When locking the workstation, the video stream should automatically stop sending video to avoid that others in the call can watch your room while your workstation is locked and you're away. Someone else walking up to your computer will see only the lock screen and may not be aware that the camera is turned on and transmitting video.

  14. Merge two conference calls/meetings into one

    Usually when we dial into a conference call meeting, it requires us to input extension number, meeting room numbers or etc. So when I want to combine two meeting into one, I can merge calls in Skype for Business, but cannot find the same feature in Teams. Is there any roadmap to add this feature back to Teams?

  15. Add a prompt to confirm if you want to make a call before the call is transmitted (to avoid accidental calls)

    To avoid accidental calls (particularly a nuisance for large groups), it would be good to have a prompt on screen that requires that you confirm that you wish to make the call. It's easy to accidentally hit the call button without realizing you're in the right group chat, or just simply by accidentally clicking the phone /video icon when attempting to access settings.

  16. Allow video streams to be placed on top

    Would like the ability to move the video streams while in a group Teams meeting sharing content. All the video streams appear below so all participants are looking down. If streams were on top (where most webcams located) then users would appear looking straight ahead.

  17. Call Controls Within Teams

    Would like to be able to use my headset to operate the call controls within the meeting as Skype does. Mute, End Call, Make call, etc. all must be done within the Teams application.

  18. Ability to Switch Shared Screen and Other Improvements

    It would be nice if you could switch which monitor / application you are sharing without having to end the screen share and restart. It would also be nice to have the option to share your screen with your own camera showing you in a small window and better yet, make it so these options can be easily turned on / off and set by default (at individual or admin level).

    In my opinion, Zoom gets this right - better than just about any other solution out there in terms of the customizations and features available.

  19. Respect system settings for audio in/out in video calls

    When system settings are set to f ex use a bluetooth headset or other device as audio in and out on my Mac, a new Teams video meeting will still be set to use the built-in mic/speaker per default, and a manual reset to the preferred device is required. This is totally unintuitive, and new video chats should respect system settings.
    Since I might be using different headsets/mics/whatever at different locations, remembering which devices I used previously does not fully remedy this problem (although it mitigates it).

    Basically I would like an option to set my audio preferences to system…

  20. extension numbers

    I see nothing in the Road Map regarding the use or internal extension numbers to dial teams users within the same tennant. Is this something that is planned? Many clients have requested this functionality and have turned away from teams based on the lack of this feature. If i have a user in a different part of the building I cannot see the difficulty in configuring their presence in Teams to recognise if 500 is dialled that it goes to the particular user associated with that number in teams. This would then tie into auto attendants, when a customer calls…
