  1. Move user videos to top of screen

    Most laptop and workstations have cameras mounted on top of the screen, while videos and picrures of participants are currently presented at the bottom of the screen, leaving everyone looking down.

    I'd suggest moving the pictures and videos to the top leaving people looking more into the camera.

  2. Call Status (when already on a call)

    The status indicator (red circle for busy, green circle for available, yellow circle for away) should be more obviously different when someone is on a call/conference call.

    I often have people calling me when I'm already on another call, as I think they assume that 'red' = 'busy', and nobody takes the additional step of hovering over someone to make sure they're not on another call. There shouldn't be an additional step, it should be obvious when someone is on a call.

  4. Allow call agents to answer the call directly without playing the music on hold for a call queue

    With a call queue, music on hold is played until a call agent answers the call, but this is unnecessary, so I would like to make a call agent answer the call directly without playing the music in Microsoft Teams call queue.

  5. Automatic volume leveling for meeting participants

    Often, callers have different volume levels. Either they have a mic right near their mouth with a headset - or they may be using a laptop mic far away.

    It'd be helpful if we could adjust the volume of individual participants - boosting some and reducing the volume of others.

    As an enhancement, it'd be nice if users could also select callers independently and adjust their volume. These adjustments should be saved such that the volume level tweaking is remembered from call-to-call so the tweaks would not have to be made…

  6. Caller ID show as external number

    Please allow users to set the caller id on outgoing voice calls to be a number outside of Microsoft. We want to set the caller id to be our company's current 1 800 number.

  7. Filter Call History

    For us and our customers it would be helpful to be able to filter the results in the call history. At the moment, this list is just getting longer and longer. So, I'd like to be able to sort and filter by type (incomming, outgoing, missed), date or source/destination number.

  8. Turn down volume for other apps when you get an incoming Teams call

    I was listening to Spotify when I got a call on Teams. I had to manually turn down the volume on Spotify to be able to hear the Teams call. This happens automatically in Skype for Business.

  9. video bar at top of screen

    with many devices, the camera is at the top of the screen but when you're screen sharing the video bar is at the bottom of the screen so when you're looking at who's talking everyone looks like their eyes are closed because they're looking down at the bottom.

    if the video bar is moved to the top of the screen it eliminates this issue

  10. Do Not Disturb for Calls

    We need the ability to quickly indicate do not disturb for phone calls in teams. Its obnoxious to have spammers interrupt my teams audio calls with the phone ringing.

  11. Add paging feature to the Teams client independent of the phone

    Add a feature to enable paging/intercom within the Teams client. and Teams native phones that would allow a user to receive a broadcast announcement. Currently using S4B and the paging feature is in the phone. None of the Teams native phones have this feature nor does the client offer it.

  13. Implement STIR/SHAKEN to address robocalls and other Caller ID spoofing

    Robocalls are a huge problem for most everyone with a PSTN phone number. Many calls are made from spoofed (fake) numbers which appear through Caller ID. STIR/SHAKEN is an telecom industry solution to allow carriers to block calls with spoofed Caller ID using digital certificates to authenticate authorized users of the numbers appearing on Caller ID. Microsoft should implement this system to allow Teams users the option to block calls with spoofed Caller ID. Keywords: robocall spam telemarketing unwanted fraud

  14. Enable call forwarding to mobile phones

    we would like to use MS Teams as a a solution for our telephone system and replace our old system for more than 3500 employees. But that means that we want to forward all calls from teams to our mobile phones. We already opened a ticket at the microsoft support and the answer was: "It is not possible to forward calls to mobile numbers only to contacts." We really dont understand this because there is the possibility in the settings to forward to a phone number. So please enable call forwarding for mobile phone numbers

  16. Mute "Unknown Participant is now Joining" message

    When joining large meetings, the notice of "unknown participant is now joining" is very disruptive. Please allow an option for an organizer to either mute this notice or be alerted when an "unknown participant is now joining".

  17. While in a call, add another person to the call

    Reopening previous UserVoice post per request of MS Support:

    "While in a call, you should be able to add another person (or more than one) to the call, to instantly create a group call. Similar as in Skype by clicking the "+" button."

    This is NOT completed - this feature, as well as various other features (such as Delegate Call-As) are not available in PSTN calling/Calls tab, only Teams-to-Teams calling (via the Chat tab).

    These features have been marked as completed in the UserVoice as well as the roadmap but that is not correct.

  18. Opt in and out call queue's using / command

    Let users/agents be able to Opt in and Out call queue's using the Teams Client. Ideally using the / command option.
    Now they need to use https://aka.ms/cqsettings

  19. Echo cancellation

    Teams needs echo cancellation options. Some microphones are sensitive and pick up speaker noise, causing speakers to hear voice feedback. Other noteworthy competing products have echo cancellation features.
