  1. @ Chat Navigation Bar >> Recent, is displaying every last message sent with people we are engaging, no privacy

Chat >> Recent, should not display a long list of last message sent to every people we are chatting with.

Perhaps displaying contact might be better, or allowing us to create a contact group, just like the old days of MSN Messenger.

  3. Activity summary on start up

On startup it would be nice to get some kind of "since you last was here"...

I.e summary of all your teams, activities and chats. Like Planner Hub combined with a bit personalised insights and perhaps a short summary of current tasks, answers in chats, calendar summary.

Part of it exists in "Outlook today", Planner Hub and My tasks (Planner). But build on that with Team centric information and display it all on a "start up page" or "My page/profile".

  4. List of all users in chat feature.

I want to be able to see all users in the chat section so that i can see a list of all users and their status rather than having to search for a person when i want to start a new chat and they are not in my recent.

  5. If I'm having multiple conversations through Teams (which means we use it!), then I find it hard to switch between the active conversations.

I'd like a list of the active conversations (say, sorted by most recent activity) to make it easy to switch between them.
Particularly when having active conversations in chat and teams at the same time, it's hard work finding the active conversations

  6. Threaded replies

I understand why you tried to improve upon slack with threaded replies to a single comment. However, in the mobile app you can lose replies in the main thread as it hides everything but the last one. You have to drill into them to see the content. Implement an AI component to associate comments some how, but be careful scurrying things away in a child reply thread. To grow adoption this needs to be simple and functional. If yammer is staying alive, which it is supposedly... leave that for the social side. The is hyperfast work collab chatter, not threaded…

  7. Need Tabs so we can Hop from Team to Team, Chat to Chat, etc

The interface requires me to hop back and forth to various teams and chats. Having tabs (not just within the team).. like the browser does, would be super helpful for program managers.

  9. How do you access your favorites? It's not immediately intuitive.

I'm on the teams page, and under "channels" I see 2 documents posted, with one star next to each. the star is to favorite something. Ok so if I click the star to make it purple (to add something to my favorites list), how do I get to the favorites list now? where is that stored/located? Why isn't "Favorites" listed in the left hand bar next to "Activity" "chat" "Teams" "meetings" and "files"? Favorites location should be intuitive.

  12. Show more than 1 week worth of calendar items

Currently only the current week of my calendar is shown. It would be great to see more than 1 week worth of calendar items.

  13. Add a visual indicator for channels that I follow

Unless I'm missing something, there is nothing that makes it obvious, at a glance, as to which channels I follow. I have to right-click on the channel to see which menu option is present.

  14. InVision Integration

I'd like to be able publish my invision projects to teams this would really help with communication and planning when working on company wide projects.
Currently the only alternative I can use is Slack and as we're currently trialing teams without this integration it could mean a move away from Microsoft teams.

  15. The whole UX needs to be re-thinked. Is so hard to interact with multiple teams.

I'd love to have a solution, but I don't. All I'm saying is that the whole approach to the product makes it so hard to use. I like Skype much better. Even Slack, that I never liked, seems more intuitive and easy to use than this. I have been using teams for a couple of months already so I don't think it's a matter of getting used to it at this point.

  16. Add an option to collapse the sidebar to get a full page view of the chat window

Add a way to collapse and expand the user list on the side to focus on one conversation (or any ui settings beyond themes)

  18. recently viewed - take user to the folder

Give users the ability to select an option to take them to a recently viewed folder (as opposed to it currently taking a user to a recently viewed file only, which doesn't have conversations etc)

  19. Need a UC Mini skin for Teams UI during many Calling Scenarios

In many Calling Use Case scenarios, there’s a need to have Teams available for call control, but “out of the way” to free up screen real estate for other uses.
Ideally, in that scenario, Teams should do one of a few things:
    Possible UC Mini Form factors:
    1. – Teams could be running in a “mini skin” with just a few buttons exposed: mute, hold, hangup, make other call, share screen. UC mini skin would need to be a forced foreground app “on top of” all other running apps. If the user shares their screen, this mini skin should NOT…

  20. UX of conversation flow from Email to Teams or Teams to Email

Can we improve the UX of conversation flow of these two scenarios?

    • A conversation in Email that transitions to Teams.

    • A conversation in Teams that transitions to Email.

Here is the use case: I have my inner loop of team members and we work in teams. For urgent and immediate action, I sometimes send an email, but because I want my replies in the appropriate Teams channel, I first make a post in Teams then reference it in the email for them to respond and continue the dialogue. Is there someone way to improve this user experience so I don't…
